What's up LifeRite Nation? What's going on guys? We are back to Jack's part. What is this part
we're here for? So we're back at Santa Hola State Park. It's Trail Hero this weekend. However,
rather than joining the trails like normal, we're out in the Bronco. We have the Raptor with us.
We also have some friends with us in case the Bronco Raptor needs a recovery. Well we have
the Demon up there but we can't drive so many vehicles and film. Yeah. So this is going to be
a Bronco video and on triple sevens which is an eight and it's a very uncomfortable. It's a very
difficult eight for a jeep. There's a lot of off camber and a lot of really sketchy and break over.
There's gonna be some spots I can't like I'm just gonna belly out and I won't make it. We're gonna
see. We're gonna see. We're just we we intentionally brought the Bronco down here to be out of it and
that's we're gonna do today but we do have a recovery vehicle. We're probably gonna park
and uh we're just gonna see how it does.
All right so this first climb we've seen a couple of jeeps flip on it in the past.
It's it's slick and it's off camber. You just have to be careful.
There you go see there's a slick yeah you just gotta kind of
a little belly spin.
There it goes. There it goes. Perfect. Just barely. Basically stretch across that v-notch
then you gotta cut across go that way there. Yeah you're gonna cut across. Yep straight
right there. There you go. Come back my way. Watch that rear tire. This part always feels sketchy.
So it's a pretty good fold there. Yeah you're fine. Just like you are. Perfect. Yeah.
That right side. Keep turning. Keep turning. Keep turning. Keep turning. Now straighten out.
Yeah more. Yeah. Hard hard driver. Hard driver. Uh not yet. Yeah yet. Hard driver. There you go.
Nice and slow. Yeah. You're good. She's good. She's good. There. That's it. Really? Yeah that's
it. Okay that's the longest I've taken to do that before. I've done that in the jeep and I've just
knocked air in both tires. Does it feel a little sketchier in off camber situations? No I'm just
not used to it. That doesn't feel any worse yet. I'm just not used to it and I'm also don't know
where the balance and tip point and all that stuff. Like in a jeep I know I can go 30 degrees
before I worry. You kept all four on the ground. That was good.
That's good. Come on.
We're good. So there's a wall right in front of them so you kind of kind of
wiggle your front and back around. There you go. There you go. There she goes.
There you go. You see that rock you got to get around.
I mean it's it's nothing to do about it now.
No that's that's good because once that climbs it'll pull the body away from everything.
If it climbs right there it should be good.
Oh yeah now back in. There you go. Yeah keep going. I just wanted it to climb the ledge.
I just wanted it to climb the ledge. It's fine.
When it's uh...
Oh wait. There you go. You gotta get some heat in them tires.
All right how bad did I mess up the fender? I mean you ripped off the whole back end of it.
What? I'm sure some of those tabs are probably... I mean
I mean it's nothing different than we did. I mean you did say that the fenders would be
first thing that broke. I think the clips are good. I just got to pull them out.
Uh oh no that one broke. Yeah I said I think some a couple of them broke. Oh that one broke.
Oh this guy broke. Let's see. That's a screw that goes through that. Okay well you know.
You did say that would be the first thing that you ripped off. Well I mean look at them.
So jeeps stick out past the fender when you do a little mod. Maybe not stock actually but
you know it's plastic. It's not the first time that we have ripped off
a fender from a vehicle and it will probably be far far far from the last time.
Yeah once you're up on it then you can come back. Stay driver that's it.
Yeah slider not so much but right there. Bam. Yeah it does pretty good.
I mean straight out of the box. We're straight out of the box? Yeah. Speaking of straight out of the
being a little remiss here. I forgot to uh mention at the beginning of the video for those who didn't
watch our previous video. We've done absolutely nothing to this Raptor except swap out the 37 inch
factory tires it came with to 37 inch Nitto Recon Grapplers. So they're still an all-terrain tire
same size and everything just Nittos instead. Other than that though it's bone stock. We've
done absolutely nothing to it. All we did was remove the actual steps that came on the side
because we don't need those out here. And then also we removed the fog lights from the bumper
to give the tires a little more space and give us a little better approach angle on the rocks.
But we haven't added anything to it, beefed anything up, strengthened anything. It's how it
comes right out of the box. All right Kevin thinks it'll make it through this squeeze here. Maybe it
will. Rock right there. We'll see. Don't slide to the passenger side.
All right so from this point we're actually cutting over to the trail known as Double Sammy
which is, oh god I almost fell, which is a seven. But there are still quite a few
pretty good obstacles on this trail. Plus at the very end
we'll end up at the chute which is a fan favorite here. Should be fun.
So hard left right there's the buggy line. Okay so normally you have this bypass for the entire
obstacle. You also have this line that goes continuously straight. That's kind of the medium
line and then where you just saw him go that's hard left and up this way is sort of the buggy
more extreme line. Kevin's gonna give the buggy line a go because why not we have him lining up
just in case we need to winch. But yeah we'll see how it goes. That's what we're here for.
Yeah we don't have bead locks either and we've got the Nitto's there down to I think like 12 13
which is it's okay for non-bead locks if you know what you're doing.
But it's still running a risk of de-beading the tire. There you go. This is where it's going to
start feeling weird because that back right's coming down. Your back left's going to come up
but just can you straighten? No you won't be able to. Just keep going. Just keep feeling it.
That's gonna get light. Hey Kev, can you back back driver and then a little bit and then go
up straightaways before you start turning back driver again? See if we can get that back right
tire to climb a little sooner so it's not dipping so far into that hole right there.
You're good. You're good. Keep coming. There you go. Yeah now straighten out.
Can he go passenger or at least straight?
So question because if you keep trying to crawl it's just going to continue to slide you back to
where you were. If you back up and line up where you were can you do like a one foot bump to see
if you can get that back in to climb up? Yeah now go passenger. Right there yeah.
That's it. It'll go. Don't go back up anywhere.
There you go. Oh Jesus Christ. You're good. Can you go passenger? No he's not all right.
You're not all right because that tire's definitely no because as you move forward
your right tire is going to go into a hole. It's going to drop another 12 inches.
I can't see anything. Yeah so as he goes forward no matter kind of what direction he does
that tire is absolutely going to go in that hole which means that tire is going to come
off the ground pretty significantly. It might hold it might not but what we're going to do
just in case is we're going to hook the winch to the driver's side d-ring on the front bumper
and just keep the winch taut. We're not going to winch him up. We're going to let Kevin continue
crawling to see if he can still crawl up but that way in case it gets super sketched the winch will
at least keep the front end from flipping that way. Do what? That's a great photo of it's just
oh yeah so we haven't db'd at the tire yet but it's doing great. That's why we swapped to Nitto's
by the way. Okay so we've got him hooked up. Come forward Kev. Winch in. There he goes.
That it was close but no that absolutely would not have made that without a winch.
It was fun to try though. It was so close like I think if we like tried it. If we were here for a
few more hours and kept trying it. Yeah but I mean we saw more stuff to do. Yeah we got other stuff.
This is impressive. How did it feel inside? It feels fine. Here's the crazy part is the thing
is so balanced that okay so this doesn't have a rear sway bar at all and the front sway bar
is disconnected for crawling so it's weird it has no sway bar but when it starts to roll and pitch
like that it still feels actually fine. It doesn't feel like it's gonna just go over it feels like
it's gonna pull pull pull and like eventually settle back down. There you go. Belly clearance
for the right hand climb right there. Yeah well.
So you could self-clearance the trailing arms a little bit if you hit it with your purse a
little harder. Yeah because we need to bend the trailing arms. It's just the trailing arm bracket
mostly. Yeah just more. Okay maybe less. All right that was enough belly aching around.
Okay I'm super impressed with the Bronco Raptor but I'm equally impressed
with these freaking Nitto Recon grapplers. That's an all-terrain tire
and those sidewalls are taking a freaking beating so far.
That was really good. So I feel like I need to go back through and struggle
a little bit more like way more in this stuff because it's making it look like we're doing
so easy. I don't know what it looks like on the camera but what we're doing is not
like it's not easy it's it's good spotting it's good driving and it's a great vehicle.
Jesus Christ I'm serious I'm as equally impressed with the Bronco Raptor as I am with the freaking
tires. I know. Gloriously slick through here and usually you have to use a little momentum.
There you go.
All right I think that's yeah that's it bump it. You have to. You have to kind of
Right there. Right there. Tires where they are yeah.
Jesus. It's ******* nothing. Kevin you're supposed to be struggling. I know. That is
crazy. I am so like besides myself about this vehicle. Free bone stock right off that factory
rig. Are you sure it's not worth are you sure it's not worth the extra mark? It is absolutely still
not worth the $35,000 markup we paid for it but it is it is absolutely a million times over worth
its MSRP. This is this is kind of a golden ticket off-road vehicle. I genuinely believe so.
All right I'm gonna try this. I don't expect to make this at all. I don't even know if I can get
up to it because the way this is not for a stock vehicle at all. You I mean. Give it a go. Give it
a go. But the break over if I can make it all the way up there I don't think. I don't know if the
break over and we don't have rock sliders. So this is the obstacle. I'm not making a face because that is not
usually the line that you take but it works. No no no it works beautifully. That was good.
I know. What do you want to know what's ironic though? The Bronco getting winked behind you.
Over over the chute. Over the chute. I can't see anything. I just bump it. For just a second.
Don't bump it into the wall but yeah just to get up maybe.
It's just straight into the trailing arm bracket. Like pretty hardcore.
No. Almost. Don't do that. Don't do that. All right so we're gonna hook up a winch but
he's just gonna pull enough tension on me just to get the tire starting to grab and then I'm
gonna see if I can do it. I feel like I'm so so close. There you go. That's all I needed.
Well if I get high center. Okay have him let them let him let him take it out though.
Just uh let it looser. What's the word? Let it out. Let it. Thank you. Winch out.
All right winch is loose. Stay driver Kev. Stay driver. I'm not gonna do it. Stay driver.
Did it break? Oh my gosh.
You know what I'm thinking though? Yeah the one earlier. Good thing you didn't break on the other.
I saw his winch line earlier and I'm like I don't know that I like this thing.
The same exact thing I was thinking on the other obstacle. I was like oh god I hope that winch
doesn't break. It made it under. There's the demon child. Made it back under its own power. I am
I'm blowing away at it. I know he had to tug me a couple times but those are lines I shouldn't.
It was just me being down. Trying right? But that's the entire point of us doing it is to
beat the crap out of it and test the limits. I didn't break anything but a rear fender and I
didn't even break it like it just needs some taps. Just a couple taps it's fine. That's good. We did
that in the Jeep a ton of times but honestly again overly thoroughly freaking impressed with
the new Bronco Raptor. And these tires. Also thoroughly impressed with the Adiddo Recon Grapplers.
If you didn't watch our last wheeling video highly recommend go back watch that video because
it's super sick and also we say something at the end that we're gonna reiterate right now.
At this point I am willing to probably admit as far as stock bone stock goes this is a better
overall off-road capable vehicle than a brand new Rubicon than a brand new Jeep. And I'm fighting
words and those are all these are all your and I'm but I mean overall I'm not saying off-road
only I'm saying overall because the on-road manners are better. Peppiness is fantastic.
The comfort off-road is absolutely better and it can rock crawl just fine just f****** fine. Probably
the same. I would say it's probably as far as stock to stock goes. Now there's still the question I
will say there's still the question is how long can we do this for before we start snapping stuff
right. The longevity and the sturdiness of all of the parts but keep watching and you'll find out
with us. So guys as always thank you so much for watching. Please don't forget to like subscribe
and share. Remember you can find all of your Light Bright Ignition merch and decals at
lightbrightstudios.com and as always we love you and we'll see you next time.
And you know it's good when you're opting to drive it over the Demon Child. No I've
driven the Demon Child. The Demon Child rips. You would rather drive the Demon Child? Yeah no I like
driving that on through the rocks right now because I have another Jeep but through the dunes
and through all this. Oh yeah of course. I'd rather drive it. But I'm making you drive this because I
want to drive that through the dunes. I guess but are you gonna be able to follow me back up that hill or are
you guys gonna get stuck? No. Maybe. I don't know. This has a lot more power. We'll see.
