These three videos describe a stark reality in China.
The left one are parents of a victim of bullying.
The mother is mute, begging on their knees in front of a city official.
And the middle is the video of the bullying that has just circulated online.
And the right are a bunch of the protesters in that same city being bussed out in a pig
transport cage on the back of a truck.
Unfortunately, that was the real experience of the people in this city recently.
Our story starts today with thousands of people walking out in protest over a case of school
Parents and local residents come out to protest the government's final decision and the lack
of effort to try to resolve this issue.
And we heard that allegedly the bully's family background is connected to the local government.
Many of the clashes ensued the day after this video was circulating online, which shows
that a 14-year-old girl was being bullied by a group of her classmates.
And obviously, it's too graphic to show here.
And the police investigation resulted in absolutely nothing.
And even though that the main bully was punished, it didn't seem like it was the right kind
of or appropriate punishment that the parents were thinking of, such as, you know, how about
you apologize to the victim and the parents of the victims.
And according to internet information, the 14-year-old female victim has a disabled mother
who cannot hear and speak, a migrant worker father who lives far away from home at times.
Now, obviously, it's not the first time that the local government has protected those with
power or connections to the government.
And this low effort response is something that has generated a lot of anger amongst
the local population.
And I guess, you know, with the resentment level extremely high in China and social pressure
mounting, this was bound to be an explosion.
And so people started to gather and protest in front of the local government building
and the square before it.
Now, the victim's parents in these videos are seen kneeling down, begging for an apology
from the bully's parents, which if you look and think about the dynamic of bullying, shouldn't
it be that the bully's parents kneel down to the victim's family or at least kneel down
to the officials begging for forgiveness?
But here we see that the city official from the Political and Legal Affairs Commission
actually seems like he was pretty OK with the begging aspect.
He's just holding up his megaphone and standing there.
And this lack of response turned into a group of fed up, actually not just a group, but
thousands of people.
And initially, people just gathered to ask the officials to provide to provide the family
with a better reaction and obviously solve the issue.
That later turned into more people gathering throughout the day.
Police was the squadrons are bused in.
And one protester was dragged away, leading to people saying that there is violent law
enforcement taking place.
Here in this video, another female protester is swarmed by the cops, taken away after.
And others inside the official meeting discussing the bullying situation was live streaming
and they got into a confrontation with the police and the stream was cut.
Now, these smaller incidents that happened eventually led to a major escalation in the
situation. But the key here is that usually during the day, they try to make things seem
peaceful or they only take away the so-called violent individuals or those that are acting
out because they still want to keep the image, right?
Because you have more people during the day and you have more cameras, eyes and ears to
keep check on what you're doing with people.
That's a different story when it gets to the nighttime, which we'll talk about next.
Those that were arrested are taken away on a pig transport cage truck, which humiliation
aside, it just seems like they don't view these people as regular human beings.
You could at least rent a shuttle bus, you know.
And before we continue, here is a special announcement.
I'll be going to Malaysia to investigate their ghost city called Four City.
It's a Chinese mega infrastructure project that was built before the pandemic and
obviously it didn't get finished.
Still, it's like a little mini ghost city because not enough people live there.
And so it's a great representation of the Chinese real estate Ponzi scheme, which is
something that we're going to go on the ground to experience.
It's the only place outside of China where you can get this mass scale feeling of
emptiness, but at the same time, a great representation of the rise and fall of the
Chinese real estate sector.

As the sun set, a large number of people still gathered in front of the government
building, demanding an answer.
Now, the CCP usually they tried not to evoke the violent resolution until the sun
sets because, you know, less people and less chances of them being seen as violent or
being caught.
So they shift the tone at night and many protesters who didn't want to leave, they
started to sing the national anthem.
At some point, cops were given an order to rush through to the protesters and start
making arrests and dispersing the crowd.
Police then began chasing and arresting people at the square of the building and
protesters scrambling and running away.
Stragglers are seen taken by the police.
Some are pepper sprayed, people got into confrontations, threw bottles at the police,
and in this video, a delivery driver and a cop got into a brawl.
Nearby, people tried to stop it.
The cop pulled out a pepper spray and threatened to use it.
At another corner of the street, black clothes cops likely don't really know if
they're cops gathered and one order and they rushed into to get the people.
About 3 a.m. this morning, the protesters were still around.
Police continue to chase the crowd out.
Signal Jammer has been brought in to stop people from posting about the situation.
The level of fear. Obviously, the government is really good at controlling what people
do, and they've learned so much from the protests of 2022 that they no longer allow a
protest to go past the morning.
So they deal with them very quickly.
Usually those that are arrested probably have their future ruined.
And this is so that others don't repeat what they do.
There's a lot of people, obviously, and many incidents really does spark these kind of
reactions from people because they're just so outrageous in how the government neglects
the people. But at the end of the day, this is what they do.
It's rule by fear.
And so with fear, they use a lot of different ways, not when you see on video where
they're just being taken away.
But what happens in the dark, in the aftermath, such as in Chinese, it's called
chill host, which means to deal with you after the fall, meaning that after the
aftermath of what you just committed will deal with you then and get you heavily
punished with nobody else knowing what happened to you.
So that's what's called punishing you after the fall.
And so that's exactly what's going to happen to a lot of people when it comes to the
victims family. Here's the resolution from them.
They're going to say, we'll give you some compensation or their work out a deal with
the bullies family, right?
The two sides will come to an agreement, quote unquote.
But these agreements are essentially forced upon the family of the victims.
If you try to seek legal pathways to resolve this afterwards, you're not going to get
anywhere. You've tried to petition.
You're not going to get anywhere.
And so you're essentially forced to take whatever compensation that they offer you,
which many times might not be enough for all the troubles that whoever has cost you
for this. And so in the end, this is just one of those cases that come and go.
And it's not going to leave a mark on the history of the CCP.
But over time, it adds to that another bit of pressure in the extreme, extreme boiler
or you could say pressure cooker situation of the Chinese society.
So we'll see where this goes and we'll continue to follow the case.
