Closing arguments begin today in Matthew Farwell trial

Closing arguments are set to begin in the federal murder trial of former Stoughton police detective Matthew Farwell after weeks of testimony surrounding the death of Sandra Birchmore.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys will make their final arguments to the jury Friday before the case moves toward deliberations.

The defense rested its case after 50 witnesses had testified, and Matthew Farwell did not take the stand.
