6AM winter arc morning routine | a stormy autumn morning 🌧️
Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe speaker shares a cozy autumn morning routine in London, focusing on mindful habits, seasonal transitions, and personal well-being. The video blends daily life updates—such as managing work admin and fitness—with a detailed unboxing and review of a limited-edition natural fragrance designed for the autumn season.
We are coming to the end of October.
I woke up this morning wanting to light every candle in my house.
I'm refusing to use the overhead lights.
Just embracing all things cozy and quiet as I start the day.
Finding my rhythm
and routine as we head into the last couple months of the year.
Some things staying the same,
some habits that will carry me all year round.
But just adapting them to this new season.
Storm across the UK, in London, it's been pretty mild.
Just quite windy and rainy.
But if you've been somewhere where it's been really bad,
I'm so sorry.
Like seeing some of those videos, it looks very scary.
So I hope you're all okay.
I have a day of work, a day of different bits and bobs.
So I'm gonna do some makeup.
My skin's been looking really dull recently.
My skin's like this.
I actually want to try and not put too much.
Makeup on it, because it can like really bring out the texture.
Last night in my dream
This is so random kept finding coins.
It just felt so random and for whatever reason like
I don't even remember the context of the dream
That's the only thing I remember about the dream
and then I went outside to walk Mochi this morning
And there were coins on the floor.
I'm gonna tell myself it means something
and so I googled finding coins generally
Symbolizes self-worth personal value and unexpected small gains.
I think last week. I was getting quite
Down and in my head about how I'm not there yet
with some big scary goals remembering to celebrate the small wins
I am gonna take
something from
that this morning
to finish off
getting ready
I have been wanting to try this for so long now.
I finally can we're gonna do it together
We're gonna try this together
I have a package here from Fern if you're someone
who loves living seasonally a little bit like me
Especially right now fully embracing autumn
Then I think this might be for you.
Fern is a fragrance brand
who is very kindly working with me on this part of the video.
What I have here to unpackage with you guys,
you can actually see on the box,
is their Autumn 26 fragrance.
What I love about Fern is that they only use
the highest quality of ingredients
and they also produce these in limited batches,
which not only makes them feel special
and I feel like you'll truly treasure the fragrance
because once it's gone, it's gone.
But it's also kind of on the planet,
this business model that they've created.
It ensures that they're reducing waste.
I'm also trying to be a lot more intentional
with choosing natural where possible.
And so their fragrances are natural.
Just to be clear, when I say limited batches,
they only create four scents every single year.
Anyway, I've been patient.
I've been waiting to open this up with you.
Their packaging is so beautiful.
I love that it's sustainable.
First word I see is lavender and I'm seeing the purple, so.
I love lavender, I'm excited.
This is so gorgeous.
I know this scent has been inspired by the Scottish moorlands.
Being a Scottish gal, I am very pleased to hear that.
There's so many sweet touches that come in this packaging, let's see.
This beautiful little piece of artwork with this hair on it.
We have the tester.
We got the wee sample, which I love carrying these in my bag.
They're so handy for traveling and everything.
But also they have this test and return system.
Try out the fragrance before fully committing.
Oh my goodness, it comes with this little pack of tea.
I was not expecting all these little gifts.
This gorgeous little badge that comes with it.
And also this beautiful terracotta diffusion stone with a hair on it.
All these details is incredible.
My goodness.
Time to try.
Wow, I haven't even sprayed it yet, but I've been hit with the scent.
Immediately, immediately, I'm hit with the lavender.
It literally makes me want to go for like a woodland walk in the rain.
It's so gorgeous.
Wow.
Caramelized tonka bean in it, which I love in my scents.
It also has jasmine, hay, violet leaf.
Truly such a good scent for autumn.
I'm someone who really associates scent with memory,
so this will be the scent that carries me through the season.
Creating little rituals and moments that make
the changing seasons feel so special.
As you can imagine.
These are extremely limited
when it comes to availability because of the
limited batches, so I have a little gift for you guys
which is very exciting. You can use my link in the description. I
think I also have a QR code which I'll pop on the screen
which allows you to not only skip
the firm waiting list but you will also
receive an exclusive free gift with your fragrance. Let's go
have
some
breakfast
and
a
cup
of
tea.
Even
though it's like
so
dreary
outside
So nice and cozy in here,
especially with like all the nice warm lighting and I've had candles
burning. The house smells so lovely.
I think something that's really good for me I've noticed is
Still making effort to, like, go out,
get myself ready, just be around other people.
So I'm going to go to a coffee shop.
I have, like, boring sort of admin I need to do this morning.
Some script writing.
I need to do some, like, financial boring bits for my accountant.
Absolute snooze.
I hate it.
And I know if I stay here...
And I just go to my desk, make myself a cup of tea,
I will somehow make it take all day, when it doesn't need
to take all day, I need like an hour to just get my head down.
This will be really nice in a cozy cafe, I feel like that will get
my head down, I'll be like, wait, you only have an hour to get it done.
I'm also...
I'm limiting myself time-wise
because I've booked a workout class in like an hour and a half
so I really I need to like finish up all
my bits before I can go do that. I am normally a kind of
person who likes to work out first thing
but the other week I had like a couple workout classes in
a row that we're at like 6am really really early classes
and I think because when they're that
early I literally just throw myself out of bed
and because I've like just woken up I'm so
tight and tense and then going into things like planks and pike,
ab crunches, all those things you
do in like reformer or downward dog in yoga.
I swear I did something like I had a really weird
feeling in my shoulder. I'm literally fine.
I also think it's health anxiety if I'm being
honest with myself but um it felt really weird
and I took a week off from
Working out. I think it was a pinched nerve.
I've never had one of those before but just going off of my symptoms.
Doing a few more workouts mid-day now.
And I'm also really prioritizing stretching. That's why I've
been really liking getting up and doing some really, really soft yoga.
It feels like a beautiful little ritual to start the day,
especially when I have like candles and cozy lighting on.
So anyway, let's go.
