This is getting RIDICULOUS....

The critique focuses on poor player utilization, an ineffective tactical system, and the over-reliance on rookie Macklin Celebrini, arguing that the coaching staff is hindering the development of talented young players.
Last night, the San Jose Sharks yet again suffered a very tough loss,
and of course the theme of rampant mismanagement is running wild
because, yeah, it is clear, mismanagement.
I don't understand how guys like Shang Pang are coming out and saying,
yeah, there's no plan to take a look at Warsawski, no plan to...
replace him. How? How? Shout out to Max Miller
for being one of the only reporters in that room
actually asking questions at press,
because I am so sick of, firstly, just what we're getting
from Warsawski, especially in terms of what he says in interviews,
but also just the way that
he is managing this team, or lack thereof,
because it is clear mismanagement. We should not be
We are an incredibly high octane.
Offensive power team,
why are we not even able to get through the neutral zone?
This is ridiculous.
This should not be this hard for us.
It is absolutely ridiculous.
I am so, so frustrated.
It is getting exhausting to be a Sharks fan,
especially as there seems to be no plans to
make any change.
Why?
I'm getting upset, but before I get too into it,
I just want to remind you guys that we're
still on Twitter, our handle's still at Sharks Digest,
and we're still there to give you
the latest news, trades, reports, and rumors about the San Jose Sharks.
We can't always hop in a video, but we can
always send out a tweet, and it's just another
way to talk to you guys, and we love doing that,
so give us a follow and a shout at Sharks
Digest on Twitter.
Now, this is probably not going to be surprising to you guys because I
am not quiet about how much I really, really dislike this man.
But Ryan Warsawski repeatedly insists on Ty Delandria and keeps giving
him these opportunities he really, really, really does not deserve.
I cannot stress this enough.
Delandria is one of the worst players in the NHL.
He contributes absolutely nothing.
You guys have heard me say this a bunch of times.
He has a WAR stat of zero,
which means there is not a single person
worth taking out of the lineup to play him.
And yet, we continue to-
Sorry for the sound warning there.
And what's really,
really infuriating about this is we have Philip Bistet, who is ready
to be a full-time NHL player.
We've only seen him four times this season, but he deserves that spot.
He is comfortable.
He looks good.
I don't understand the insistence on Delandria,
especially when we have Bistet right here.
He is a thousand times more skilled.
He is way better. He is just an all-around
better player in every sense of the word. Literally every single
Area that you can be better, he is better.
Granted, the bar is incredibly low,
because Delandria is terrible,
but Bistet is clearly the better option here,
and yet we are just letting him rot.
What is this? I hate it.
And of course, if you pull up their compared production,
it's not really fair to Bistet.
B-Stet's only played four games and he hasn't had any points,
but we've seen Delandria a
lot more and he's producing literally nothing.
Why?
Why are we doing this?
Especially because, again, B-Stet is confident.
He is ready to make that jump.
No point in Delandria's career has he really ever
been on par with the NHL capabilities.
Not once.
He has always been terrible.
So I don't understand the insistence on him.
Again, especially when we have someone like B-Stet to play.
He is just clearly the better option.
He was killing it in the Barracuda before we called him up.
In eight games of the Barracuda, he had eight points.
Four goals, four assists.
Really, really great.
Those four games that we've seen him in the NHL,
he looks like an NHL player.
Ty Delandria looks like someone's son who just wandered onto the ice,
doesn't know how
to play hockey, doesn't know how to skate,
but ended up on that team because daddy let
him.
I don't understand this.
Again.
B-Stet is so, so much better,
especially because we always talk about providing support,
which I will get to that in a second.
Why are we playing a player that's not as good?
The better player provides better support.
That is a no-frickin'-brainer there.
But let's move on to how Warsofsky talks about all of this,
because this actually drives me crazy,
especially in terms of Delandria.
Ryan Warsofsky, I really hate you, honestly.
His post-game interviews do nothing but make me angry.
He is just awful.
I mean, he's arrogant, he's obnoxious,
I hate his post-game interviews, he's so quick to throw
players under the bus unless that player is Ty Delandria.
That is literally the only circumstance
he will not throw a player under the bus
is when it comes to awful zero war stat Ty Delandria.
And he's saying, yeah, we have good players, blah blah blah.
For whatever reason, it hasn't clicked.
Maybe, maybe, firstly, these line combinations make no sense.
And secondly, maybe you just don't even give it time to click.
I am so infuriated by having Warsofsky
as coach for so many reasons.
But quotes like these actually make me angry.
Especially when he's just spewing pure nonsense.
He thought last night was Delandria's best game of the season?
Did we watch the same game?
Delandria is terrible.
No game is a good game for him.
Also, when asked about playing Delandria over B-Stet,
he was so fast to throw B-Stet under the bus saying,
he's got to work on defense, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,
which the whole team needs to work on defense.
It makes sense.
But...
Not once was he ever willing to say anything negative about Delandria.
Not a single point was he willing to do it.
He said, nope, not going to comment on that.
So you're willing to throw the young guys under the bus,
the guys who are good
and deserve better chances that you're not giving them.
You're okay with throwing them under the bus.
But when someone raises a reasonable question about a guy
who is taking a valuable spot
on the lineup, and undeservingly so,
and day in and day out proves he doesn't belong in
the NHL, and you continue to do that, what you say means nothing.
Which, again, shocker, lost the frickin' locker room.
And he loves to talk about finding our form,
buying in, blah, blah, blah.
Again, you switch up the lines every three seconds.
You're not giving opportunity to find form
or create those bonds and make things click.
But also, the team has bought into your system.
Your system just doesn't work.
I don't get why that's just such a thing that he just cannot recognize.
No one can recognize for some reason.
Look at the Barracuda.
Barracuda bought into the same system.
It's not working for them either.
Clearly, the system is broken.
We need to change this, and it starts at the top with Warsawski.
Now, let's get on to the next point here.
This is incredibly frustrating, too.
Again, further mismanagement,
and unfortunately, now it's Evar Stenberg.
He needs better linemates.
What is putting him on a line with Toffoli and D'Alandria?
Because, I mean,
these line combinations last night made absolutely no sense.
Someone with a rudimentary knowledge of hockey looks at this and says,
what the hell am I looking at here?
What a freaking mess.
Also, why does he love Marchman so much?
That's a whole other thing.
Santa Foley, are you kidding me?
That is ridiculous.
Honestly, other than when he was playing with Mac.
And the times that, the beautiful,
beautiful one time that we saw him with Misa and Chernyshov,
Stenberg has not been given proper support.
And it's frustrating because he is so freaking talented.
We really, really have such a special player here.
Look at this.
He is so incredible.
I love him so much.
He is Calder caliber, but he can be Calder winner caliber.
If we give him proper support, but we're not, it's not fair to him.
And he's been so good everywhere we need him to be.
He's been so good on the power play.
He's been so present five on five where we've really been struggling.
He really makes a difference
when it comes to congestion in front of the net,
bringing the play deeper into the zone.
He makes a difference.
But when we're pairing him with guys like D'Alandria and Toffoli,
We're actively holding him back, and that is so, so not fair to him.
Stenberg deserves so much better.
Honestly, all the young guys on the team.
Why is he not popping up?
There he is.
All the young guys on the team deserve so much better.
We are doing a complete disservice to them.
I mean, even going on the back end,
Eric Polkamp deserves better than being paired with a guy
like Orlov.
Anyone deserves better than being paired with Orlov,
but these young guys deserve better,
I've said it before, like, I'm kind of glad that Canioni is in the AHL
because he's away from Morozovsky,
who is completely hindering his development.
It really pains me to see Ivar Stenberg having to suffer
because of poor decisions from Morozovsky.
And also, going on to the next point,
Macklin Celebrini is also suffering because of it.
We are leaning, oh, we are leaning way
too heavily on this poor kid.
I mean, that's just ridiculous. Like, of course he's Mack.
He's a generational talent. He's unbelievable.
18 points in 16 games. That's, this is all
in spite of Morozovsky, not because of him, in spite of him.
And, you know.
Mac is just doing what Mac does.
He's just fantastic.
Nothing's going to stop him from being amazing.
But I am really scared of burnout with him.
Just look at last night alone.
He played 23 shifts.
Almost 25 minutes on ice.
That was like almost four full minutes more than anyone else.
That is insane.
That is not sustainable.
We cannot keep doing this to him.
It's not fair.
Especially, we have support.
We have guys like Ivar Stenberg.
We have guys like Michael Misa.
We have guys like Colin Graf.
We have Philip Bistek.
We have Will Smith.
We don't need to be doing this.
But again, the fact that we do have these guys,
and we can't even get through the neutral zone,
let alone...
Sustaining pressure in the offensive zone, the system is not working.
It's not the players, it's the coach.
Again, we are leaning so heavily on Macklin, and it is not fair to him.
Look at how much he's producing on a regular basis.
Again, of course, he's just going
to do that because that's just what he does,
but he can't be the only one doing this.
We can't rely on him so heavily.
He had six shots on goal last night.
What is this? We have such talented players.
Please, let's do right by them because this is
not it. And again, Warsawski has lost the locker room.
They had a players-only meeting
less than 20 games into the season. That's a horrendous sign.
Of course, Macklin being the media darling, he's...
He's gonna try to get people past it,
but he said himself they're frustrated.
They don't like the way they're playing
He also said they've bought into the system.
So let's just take all of that and say
Warsawski
shangri-way
Warsawski you need to do better by these guys
The fact that we're struggling so much is a reflection on you
Not them
Again, we have an insane amount of high-octane forwards.
Why are we not getting 30 shots on goal a night?
We had 24 last night.
We should be putting up 30 shots on goal a night.
We should have sustained offensive zone pressure.
We should be getting through that neutral zone,
especially because we're fast.
We are not doing all of those things,
and it all boils down to coaching staff.
Something's got to give.
Something's got to change.
I am just beyond frustrated with this.
We can be doing so much better.
We have the resources.
We have the potential.
We have the talent.
It's just the management.
And we need to change it.
Please, for the love of God, save us from Ryan Warsawski.
Drop a comment below.
Love chatting with you guys.
Hopefully things turn around soon.
But I'm not holding my breath as long as Warsawski's in charge.
Go Sharks!
