Thanks for logging on to myfoxhurricane.com.
25 days left in the hurricane season. That one area
that we had been watching
and we're still watching out into the central Atlantic. Well,
you notice here, if you've been watching this,
the numbers are now going down on this.
Starting to look more and more likely
this is not going to really acquire many of those
tropical characteristics and develop.
Still looks like just a broad area of low pressure,
so there's certainly something there.
It's just not tropical in nature,
so down to about a 20% chance of development.
You look at the Fox weather model, here it is, right here.
And you can see just this elongated area
of some showers out into the middle of the Atlantic.
But watch as we go through time.
You really just don't see a whole lot of development.
This stays just a broad area of low pressure, eventually shifting.
A bit further out into the Atlantic.
Also another area of low pressure along this boundary,
quite likely absorbing this.
So bottom line is, it just doesn't look like anything's going
to really happen with this
as we go through the next several days throughout
the weekend and into next week.
So here we are, only about 13% of the season.
We're right at that tail end of the season.
Could we see something?
Sure, there's possibilities that we could see something,
probably not very likely.
So we'll wait and see if we get
that next name on the list, which is Kyle.
We'll keep you updated right here on myfoxhurricane.com.
