Time now for a check of the weather. We had a beautiful stretch,
about a week and a half of gorgeous weather.
It was bound to come to an end sooner or later.
And the answer is sooner as we get into our Thursday morning.
Some of us during the commute,
but most of us gonna be seeing that midway through the morning.
So the rain is going to arrive and it's going to be lingering
for a number of days. But until we get there,
the overnight dry and fine early parts of your Thursday are okay.
As we work our way into that rush hour commute and beyond that,
we're going to be dealing with rounds and rounds of showers.
Now what that means is that there will
also be some moments that are dry throughout the day.
The majority of Thursday itself is dry, but when the rain is here,
it could definitely be noticeable with some of those.
Pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall throughout the day.
Now the other issue beyond the duration of this and beyond
the intensity of the rain is going to be the fact
that we have a lot of leaves on the ground.
It's that time of the year and those can clog some of our drains,
exacerbating some of those flooding issues.
So definitely want to be mindful of that as we progress throughout
the next several days that you could experience some flash flooding,
even from maybe not the most intense amounts of rain.
So in terms of what this is looking like, this rain arrives here
by mid morning and then we continue to have some of those.
On and off showers until we work our way into the evening.
As we get past dinner time into the evening into early parts
of the night, we're gonna have another round of those showers pushing
through that could have those downpours embedded within them.
Those are those pockets of that heavy rainfall,
those red blobs that brings some of those intense rainfall rates
that can lead to some of those flash flooding concerns.
So a lot going on over the next several days rain wise,
but we'll keep you updated every step of the way.
