Heads up drivers: Toronto gas, diesel prices dropped 11 cents
Nov 4, 2026
Drivers will see some relief at the pumps this morning as gas
and diesel prices drop by 11 cents a litre.
It hasn't been this low since August and July.
August in the case of gasoline and July in the case of diesel.
So it is a welcome number. I mean, it's not perfect.
We're not out of the woods yet.
And because of the extreme volatility,
which is historically unprecedented,
what goes down may very well wind up going up.
Yes, prices in the GTA have dropped to $167.9 overnight,
and diesel also dipping to an average of $235.9.
McTagg says if drivers wait until tonight,
that price may go down even lower.
Despite the dip, the drivers are still finding filling up expensive.
Still very high.
It's still tough. Anything helps. Yeah, absolutely.
Hopefully it goes back to normal.
McTagg is encouraging drivers to take advantage
of the dip before the price drives back up tomorrow.
But if you can't hold out until Friday,
another dip is expected even then.
