Here's how to properly wear a poppy

Do you know how to properly wear a poppy? So the poppy goes over your heart on your on your left hand side. If your poppy is constantly falling off or poking you when you try to put it on, here are some tips on how to avoid that. So this is the the poppy. Basically it has the black center, the pin in it, and a lot of people complain that they lose these poppies and I'll show you a trick. If you catch the petal with your pin It will never come off. But sometimes you can get rubber pieces that go on the end of the pin itself. You can put a small piece of tape on the end so you don't prick yourself as well. But if you put it away from your body, you're less likely. That's why I always go this way instead of down, because if it goes down, you'll lean into it. If it goes up, you catch your chin. But if you go to the left side, you're less likely to prick yourself that way. So another way that we do, so we sell what we call poppy centers. And we sell them for $2. You can get them at any branch. But if you take the pin out, you put your center in, and it just goes on like a regular pin. A lot of people use other pins. I'm not going to say it's disrespectful, but we as a Legion... We did this for people that were using those other pins. You're covering up the poppy, you're kind of changing what the look is, and we strongly recommend no one use any other pins but the poppy center because it takes away from the meaning of the poppy. The black center is there for a reason and we want to make sure that it's well known and shown.
