I'm Chief Meteorologist Brian McMillan. Let's talk about where we've
been and where we're going here over the course of the next week.
Yesterday we hit 57 degrees. Not a bad day at all.
Actually pretty nice. Today we're going to be right around that mark.
No rain yet, but that is coming.
Tonight, right around sunset,
we'll start to see this system push through.
This will be bringing some relatively breezy winds to some spots.
Not too bad, though. Not damaging wind.
And it will bring some rain.
And that will be, again, arriving around sunset.
You see we're starting off the day sunny.
We'll have increasing clouds as the afternoon goes on.
And there's that rain impacting the coast of the Olympic Peninsula
as we get into the afternoon and early evening.
That'll sweep through and be a pretty fast-moving system.
So by Thursday morning.
We may be left with just a few isolated showers,
and that's going to be about it.
Thursday is actually looking like a pretty decent day.
So mid-to-upper 50s, increasing clouds, PM showers.
I'm expecting, again, those to arrive around your evening commute.
East of the Cascades will be into the 40s and 50s,
and Portland will top out in the mid-50s.
Snow levels will be low enough to impact North Cascades Highway.
Up in those higher elevations, you'll catch some mountain snow,
but Stevens Pass, Snoqualmie, and White Pass all look just fine.
So for the next seven days we get a wet day,
then a dry day, then a wet day, then a dry day.
That's how we're going to roll here for the next week.
Right now, Saturday is looking like the better day
of the two this weekend. Have a great day.
