Can Creator Lookup on AppSumo Beat Me at Finding YouTubers?

So in my previous video, I made a coloring book, but now I need to get eyes on it. I need people to see it. So one way that smart sellers get seen is by getting creators who already have the right audience to talk about it, to bring it up. So to do that, first you have to find them and then you have to have a way to reach them. So here's my test. I'm going to try this two ways. First off, I'm going to do 30 minutes of just searching YouTube by hand and emailing them just through that. Then I'm going to do 30 minutes with a tool called Creator Lookup and see if it can save me time, but only channels that fit what I'm actually looking for this coloring book and have an email that I can write to count towards, hey, I found a creator. So if you're looking for a creator, here's how most people do it. You search, you open a channel, check the subscribers, check when they last posted, then look for an email address. So let me go ahead and start this timer here, 30 minutes. So a lot of results here and we're gonna just open up some of these. I'm gonna do them in separate tabs. So she's got 453,000 subscribers, so that's good. Let's see what her last post was, if it's recent. Okay. One month ago. So that's not too bad. And it's quite a bit of work, but I think I should be able to find email address here. Okay. So she counts had enough subscribers, had a recent video and I did find an email address. So this one's only 11,000 subscribers. Last post was two years ago. So this one does not count. This would not be a great place. 41,000 subscribers. Not bad. Did post a month ago and it's quite a hassle to actually get these people's email address. but I did find it. I hate doing manual work. That's a pain. So I went through a bunch of influencers here and most of them did not count. In fact actually even that first one I found I realized I said max 200k so that didn't match. So I went through about 20 of these and actually I only found three that actually maxed my criteria. So 30 minutes and I found three That met all the things I was looking for in an influencer. Very inefficient. That's one every 10 minutes. So now I'm going to try creator lookup. So they say they have over 400 million creators across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. Instead of guessing keywords, you describe the creators that you want in plain English. So I'm just going to type exactly what I'm looking for. I'm going to restart my 30-minute timer here. Go. We'll see how many I can find in the same amount of time using this tool. So way easier here. I can just say what I was looking for in the brief. I can just put right here. And in five seconds, I found 25 that match what I'm looking for. And I love, I just typed in what I was looking for. It did the filters based on what I needed. And they limit searches to 20 per search just to keep things fast. But I can choose number to export. And I'm going to export 25. So I'm actually gonna stop the timer. So that took me one minute, and I found 25. So again, 30 minutes doing it manually, found three, and went through a lot. It was a lot of work, and I hated it. This, I type in one little prompt, and I get 25 that all match my criteria. I have their email address right here. Some, I even have their phone number. So you click on an influencer, you get info about them. It's from India, female, speaks English, about how many views I can expect per video. And the email address right there, and I don't have to click all the bicycles. Does anybody else those like captures where you have to, you know, click all the bridge pieces? Those really stress me out. I like have a hard time. Too much pressure. I can't get them right. And one other little tip and trick. I took one of the YouTube channels I found before, and you can just say, find me channels like this and I will actually go analyze that channel and find creators similar to it. And doing it this way, actually, it found 3,616 creators on YouTube. So infinitely better than when I was doing it manually. so when you find influencers that you like you can create lists to kind of help organize them so you can find them later you can track certain posts or certain creators to see how exactly they're performing before you you know pay money for them to do something for you but if you are looking for influencers i beg you to not go do it manually by hand just take my word for it that that's very inefficient use a tool like this And of course, it's on AppSumo. So I love there's not a monthly payment. You know, if you were having to pay 20 bucks a month or whatever, then OK, yeah, maybe I'll save money, do it myself. Um, but influencers that have the audience that you're looking for are still one of the best ways, the most cost effective ways to get your product, get your app, to get your e-commerce store, whatever it is, whatever your business is to get it in front of people, get eyes on it, get traffic to it.
