Want to turn a still image into a moving video? In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to use AI motion control to transfer movement from a reference video to a character image. We’ll create talking characters, product videos, and cinematic scenes with KlingMotion.com. ✨
You’ll also see how to choose a reference clip, set the character orientation, add a scene prompt, and create different styles of AI videos. Follow along and try the workflow with your own images and video clips!
You've probably seen videos like these.
Today I'll show you how to make your own motion control
videos step by step. I'm using klingmotion.com,
the link is in the description. The website has
several different video tools
so you can try more than one kind of AI video workflow in the same
place. For this tutorial I'll use free AI motion control.
It lets you upload a character image and
a reference video, then transfer the movement
from the video onto the character in the image.
You'll need two things to get started,
a clear picture of the character you want to animate
and a video that shows the movement you want to use
the reference video can show someone talking
dancing presenting a product
or moving around choose a clip where the person is easy to see
and where the movement is clear a shorter simple clip
is often easier to work with than one with
lots of camera cuts or people moving in and out
of the frame on klingmotion.com open the motion
control menu and choose free ai motion control upload
your character image then upload your
reference video the page accepts common image
and video formats and it shows the upload requirements
beside each box you can
also add a prompt use it to describe the look of the scene the lighting
or the atmosphere you want for example you could ask
for soft studio lighting a bright outdoor
background or a more cinematic look next choose
character orientation choose video when you want
the character to follow the framing
and movement in your reference video choose image when you
want to keep the image composition
and allow more camera movement you can turn keep original sound
on or off depending on whether you want
the sound from your reference clip in the result
then choose standard or pro video quality check
the credit amount shown on the page before you
generate because the cost can vary
by tool and video length let's start
with a fun example i'm
using a picture of the mona lisa
and a video of someone talking expressively i'll upload both
files choose video for character orientation turn
on keep original sound and select the quality i
want then i'll generate the video now the mona lisa is moving
and speaking like the person in
the reference video.
The tool follows the movement, expressions, and gestures from the clip.
The same idea can work for a character, a mascot,
an illustration, or social media video. You can
use your own reference clip or try one of the examples
and templates available on the site.
Now let's make a new character for a gym video.
I'll take a screenshot from my gym clip and use
an image tool to create a new character in the same pose.
I'll ask it to keep the same camera
angle, framing, lighting,
and background so the new character stays in the same spot.
Now I'll upload the new character image
and my original gym video to clingmotion.com.
I'll choose video for character orientation,
select the quality I want, and generate.
The new character now follows the movements from my original clip.
If I want to use a different
voice I can create or record new audio separately,
then replace the original sound in a video editor
like CapCut. For the next example,
I'm holding a scalp serum in front of a pink background.
I want to change the person, but keep the bottle
and background in the same place.
I'll take a screenshot and use an image tool to create a new character.
I'll ask it to keep the bottle, my hand position,
the camera framing, and the background the same.
Then I'll upload that image
and my original product video to clingmotion.com. I'll choose
the settings that fit my clip and generate.
Now the new character is presenting the product with
with the movements from my original video.
I can replace the audio separately
if I want a different voice.
If you're making a product video,
make sure the claims are accurate
and that you include any required sponsorship disclosure.
Motion control is just one part of the website.
The motion control menu also includes
Kling 3.0 Motion Control and P-Video Animate.
These tools are designed
for different motion transfer workflows,
so you can explore them and see which one fits your project.
There's also a P-Video Replace tool
replacing subjects or products in a video that can be useful
when you want to change something
in the shot while keeping the rest of the scene
if you want to make a dance video the AI dance
page gives you a different workflow you upload
an image choose a dance template and generate a dance
video from your picture you don't need to make
a separate dance reference clip for that workflow
the site also has Kling Avatar 2.0 that tool uses a character image
and speech audio to create a
talking avatar you can add an avatar prompt
to describe the character's actions or emotions
then choose a version before generating
and if you want to create a video from scratch
you can explore the Kling AI video section the website
also features newer options including
Kling 4.0 that's the basic idea choose the right tool upload your image
and reference video
adjust the settings and generate you can use
the same workflow to try different characters
scenes and types of movement visit klingmotion.com to explore the tools
and try the workflow for
yourself the link is in the description
klingmotion.com is an independent service
and is not the official Kling website thanks for watching
