A coronal mass ejection is inbound.
However, NOAA believes that it will not be a big one.
The Sun launched a CME towards Earth yesterday, July 23,
propelled by an erupting filament of magnetism near central disk.
To see the activity right in here, we will zoom in and take a look.
Although it is a faint CME, the CME should still cause a G1-class
geomagnetic storm when it arrives on or around July 27.
I think we all realize by now earth's protective shields
are almost completely gone and any solar
activity whatsoever has the ability
to produce geomagnetic disturbances and storms. This trend
The end only promises to get worse,
but things continue to go like they have been going.
Let's zoom in and take a look at this very small filament eruption
that NOAA seems to think created a coronal mass ejection.
All right, let's take a look at the central disk,
and we'll see the filament eruption that caused
the coronal mass ejection that NOAA says is inbound for July 27th.
Not very ferocious looking, but a warning, in fact, has been issued.
God bless. Please share, subscribe, and always remember,
anything's possible in Bizarro World.
