1st Democrat to win Kansas Senate seat in 94 years

The Associated Press has projected that Kansas will flip to the Democrats. You can see right there, there are now 50 blue dots on our wall, which means 50 Democrats elected. Adam Hamilton, who has never held elected office before, a pastor who leads the largest United Methodist Church in Kansas. has won Kansas for the Democrats for the first time since 1932. A little bit of a history lesson on what this means in Kansas. 1932 and 1930, Democrats were elected there because Charles Curtis left to become Herbert Hoover's vice president. Herbert Hoover, a pro-tariff president. The Congress, when he was there, brought in the Smoot-Hawley Act, which led to the tariff powers Donald Trump is using to this day. Those tariffs helped accelerate the Great Depression. They featured in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Anyone? Anyone?
