FULL VIDEO: Ken Paxton speaks about loss to James Talarico in US Senate race

Wow. Well, let me start off by congratulating James Tallarico. I will commit that I will be praying for him that he will do good for Texas and this nation. Yep. And I want to thank, I want to thank my daughter and my son-in-law. They have been with me and all of my kids have stood by me. And really it's been one of the greatest joys going through this campaign is having them by my side. And so I just want you to know how much I love you too. And I love your kids. You know I do. And how much I appreciate what you've done for me. So thank you. And I want to thank all my friends in this room. I want to thank all my friends across this state who have really made it special to be in this role representing the state of Texas as your Attorney General. I'm so grateful for that opportunity. I'm so grateful for the support I've had, the friendships I've developed. This is a great state. It has the greatest people. And I've been so blessed to be a part of that and to have the opportunity to try to do the best I could to do good for Texas. And I'm grateful that I've had that opportunity. But most of all, I walk away from this job in a couple months. And the best part of it is the memories of working with so many great Texans. And then the fact that as soon as I'm out of office, I still have a lot of friends in Texas. So I just want to finish by saying that I love Texas. I'll always love Texas. We will still fight for this place. We will fight for our country. We've had a difficult night tonight across the country, but it's not over. So God bless you and thank you. for the opportunity to serve as your Texas Attorney General for 12 years. Thank you very much.
