FULL: Blakeman concession speech

I just got off the phone with Governor Hochul. I told her that she ran a great race and now the race is over, the election's over, so we all have to unify and work together and make for a better state of New York. I couldn't have better running mates than Sheriff Todd Hood, Sheriff Todd, Seritha Kamatareddy, and Joe Hernandez. So, first of all, thank you, Chairman Kyler. Thank each and every one of you for your very hard work and your dedication to this cause. You know what? You win some, you lose some. The fact of the matter is that now we pull together, we move forward, we have the best interests of the people in our heart. One of the things I learned in this campaign, and I am blessed that I did it, and I would do it all over again, but one of the things that... I'm blessed to have known so many good people throughout the state of New York. Not only is it an incredibly beautiful state, but it's also got incredibly beautiful people, hardworking people, people who care about their families. We care about their families, and we hope going forward that they prosper, that they do well, and that this state does well. Because in the final analysis, we're all Americans. May God bless you all, and God bless America. Thank you.
