LIVE BLOG: Polls have closed as results begin to come in

Connecticut, yeah, it's still expensive, but it's much better off than eight years ago. I think people feel like we've made real progress in this state over the last eight years, but they know we have work to do, especially when it comes to bringing down the high cost of healthcare Now, of course, the biggest name in this race may be the one that's not even on the ballot, and that is President Donald Trump. You can see these Fight Trump signs behind me. They're all over the room. Governor Lamont has consistently said that he will be a firewall for Connecticut against the Trump administration. We'll see if that resonated with voters who may not normally follow state politics but are very concerned about what's going on in Washington.
