Bo Nix Praises Broncos Defense after Emotionally Draining Win over Chiefs
Nov 3, 2026
Bo, can you take us through your emotions
on that fourth down when they had the ball
at the end of the game and just what you were feeling there?
And then also, you don't seem too thrilled right now.
What are your emotions after this win?
Well, I'm just tired.
I'm just ready to go home and go to sleep.
But it was just a really big win.
And the fourth down was another crazy play by our defense.
And, you know, very thankful for the illegal shift
that allowed them to snap it again.
Thank you again.
It's just an incredible stand by them.
They just battled and battled on that drive and came out on top.
I thought the first two quarters were pretty good.
We hung in there.
We got three scoring drives.
And then the third quarter where we had three three-and-outs,
we just didn't do very well in first and second.
We had too many third downs.
And so, like I said, in the last quarter,
we had productive first downs.
Both to your left, Sean said he wrote 48 up on the whiteboard
and talked to you guys about it before the game.
Obviously, you've talked about how that week one game went.
To have to sit with that and then to get the chance tonight,
just what did it mean to be able to get one back against these guys
and do what you did?
Well, it means a lot.
That's a big divisional win for us, obviously.
One of our toughest opponents in the division, one of our rivals.
I mean, they played us really well again,
and we just responded this time.
Thank you for your time.
That's just a good football team,
and they're going to give us their best every time,
and so we've just got to respond well.
