Hey, David. Sean has spoke
a lot about how John Coleman doesn't feel like a rookie.
I'm just curious to you, whether it's in meetings or the way he plays,
what stands out to you about just the kind
of rare maturity that maybe this guy has?
First of all, he's very smart.
He's handled the playbook very quick from day one, rookie minicamp on.
Every time he's gotten an opportunity,
whether that be in the regular season game,
obviously the Jacksonville Jaguars game sticks out,
the Atlanta Falcons game in the preseason sticks out.
So we're excited to get him back into the fold.
And I think the last couple of weeks, a whole running back room
is kind of slowly going up, turning in the right direction.
What makes you feel like that about the running back?
I think just the way we were able to throw some punches against the
Chargers and kind of finish that out with J.K. in the fourth quarter.
Last week, they were a good defense.
We knew it was going to be that type of game.
And it went all four quarters, got off to a better start,
and was able to watch our pass rush kind of get off
and force five turnovers, I believe.
And obviously we wish we played a complete game, but now the roles
were kind of reversed in regards to first half to second half.
So I think the run game got off to a good start,
and then the whole second half we can do better.
