The BIGGEST Winners & Losers CFB Week 9 | Stock Report
Nov 3, 2026
Today we break down the biggest winners
and losers from college football week number nine.
Let's get right into this. If you guys are
new, feel free to like, comment, subscribe.
This is going to be into four different sections.
The first two are going to be our stock ups
and then our last two are going to be the stock down.
So top two stock up winners and superstars
and then losers and duds for the bottom.
So let's begin with our stock up players again in no particular order.
We start out with our superstars, it's Tyler.
Thompson, edge rusher out of Louisville.
Had a lot of edge rushers from Louisville on this list,
but another one adds to the tally this past week.
Six pressures, one of those being a sack,
and three defensive stops with a forced fumble.
On top of that, he was targeted twice,
allowing two receptions for negative six yards.
So big fan of Tyler Thompson there,
who's a young, thin edge rusher, really good bend.
Excited to see him grow and develop
when there's not as heavy of an edge rotation.
Next, we have Isaac Brown.
He's back on the list, running back for out of Louisville.
Keywan Brown did well as well,
but nobody ended up comparing to Isaac Brown this week
in terms of production.
Nine carries 139 yards and three touchdowns
with two missed tackles forced on the ground
and three receptions on his three targets
for 33 yards and a touchdown through the air.
So grand total, quick math, I think that's 172 yards
and four touchdowns on just 12 attempts.
Incredible. Incredible performance.
Again, for me, he was always RB2, but I ended up really
falling in love with Keywan Brown.
He ended up superseding Brown. Funny enough, Isaac Brown,
I should say.
And we'll see what happens.
I mean, definitely a lot to get excited about there with Isaac Brown.
Lenora's seller stock is at an all-time high,
and I don't see that changing one bit when
he ends up going and facing Texas A&M this next week.
If we check it out over on CallSheet,
there's only a 72% chance for South Carolina to beat
Texas A&M, who has been abysmal.
Marcel Reed hasn't put anything together.
Nothing is really formulated on either side of the ball.
While South Carolina is red hot, beating the best of the best teams.
And if you did want to put $25 down
on South Carolina winning this game,
which if you use the code HMS, make it easy,
click the link in the description,
you'll get your $25 back and an additional 30 on top of that.
So let's just say Texas A&M pulls off a crazy upset.
You'll still end up netting 30 positive.
But if South Carolina wins and you put 25...
$5 down, you end up getting $33.60
and an additional $55 that is just under $90 for
choosing something that should be an automatic.
What's great about Kalshi is that this is not set by a house.
This is the opinions of people and the opinions of people shift.
So if you do want to take advantage of the numbers,
feel free to go and do so right away.
Use that code HMS and take advantage of the deal while you can.
Our next superstar of the week
is Mateo Uyagule, edge rusher out of Oregon.
Big fan of his game, very balanced edge rusher,
but this past week, he was awesome with nine pressures,
one of those being a sack, as well as three defensive stops.
Again, not a lot's going right in Oregon,
but Mateo Uyagale still keeping a lot of solid consistency there
at a great frame.
To me, still a French first-round pick.
Now we have a player who's made a fortune, essentially, on this show.
Aiden Flora, running back for San Francisco.
This dude's been balling out, man.
He's been doing a great job this whole season,
but this past week, 28 carries for 227 yards and two touchdowns,
along with eight missed tackles forced.
We'll note on the second-to-last play,
pretty much ended up adding an extra carry for no yards gained
just to make sure his kicker's in position.
Ends up making it even more of the case.
Dude ended up pretty much sacrificing yards per carry
in order to end up being in the right position
for a last second victory.
Good job there for Aiden Flora, per usual.
Marquis Lightfoot, edge rusher out of Miami, is next.
Miami likes to cycle their edge rushers on this list as well.
He ended up having seven pressures, three of those being sacks,
along with two defensive stops and one forced fumble.
He ended up allowing 18 yards on the two targets sent his way,
but it's an edge rusher. I don't really care.
Again, three sacks going to get you on this list.
Seven pressures going to definitely get you in the mix.
And then also having that forced fumble is the kicker on top.
Next, we have Caleb Hawkins running back out of Oklahoma State.
His first appearance on this series as a superstar.
25 carries for 194 yards
and two touchdowns with six missed tackles forced.
Six receptions for 81 yards
and a touchdown through the air as well in a very narrow loss.
But Caleb Hawkins showing that he's much more than just
a grounded pound type of dude.
I'm excited to see him go and grow in the NFL.
Let's go and continue talking about our stars of the week.
You guys end up seeing a little blooper right there
as my mouse goes across the screen.
Elijah Davis, corner out of Utah.
He had two defensive stops, seven targets,
four receptions for 47 yards allowed
with an interception and two pass breakups.
Love me some Utah defensive backs.
Jacoby Williams, another name that's consistently on this list.
14 carries, 175 yards and a touchdown with five missed tackles forced
and a reception on the two targets that went his way for 11 yards,
so almost 190 yards on 15 touches.
Hunter Andrews, tight end out of Utah.
We loved Utah tight ends.
Five targets, five receptions for 112 yards and two touchdowns.
Graded as a superstar of the week.
We continue on Rasheem Biles, the linebacker out of Texas.
He ended up having five pressures, two of those being sacks,
along with three defensive stops, one of those being a forced fumble.
He did allow 21 yards on the two targets sent his way.
But Rasheem Biles has been great.
I got to see him in person.
He popped just a little bit on the lighter side.
Elijah Pritchett's been having
a great resurgent final year there at Nebraska.
He ended up having zero pressures allowed on 51 reps.
And got a PFF 93 pass blocking grade.
So really good performance by the veteran.
Emmanuel Carnley, corner out of Washington, was next.
He ended up having a defensive stop, eight targets,
three receptions allowed for 42 yards in.
Very similar to the first player we talked about.
He had also an interception and two pass breakups.
Mateen Igbarogba, defensive interior out of Texas Tech.
Try to say that three times fast.
He ended up having seven pressures,
one of those being a sack and two defensive stops this week.
Great performance from the defensive interior crew for Texas Tech.
It wasn't just the defensive interiors.
Austin Romain balled out as well.
He ended up having one defensive pressure
along with 10 defensive stops.
Did allow eight receptions for 52 yards
on the 10 targets his way.
But whenever you make that many consistent run stops,
I'll allow you to let up a couple slip-ups in coverage.
Isaiah Mizzle for wider,
our wide receiver Arizona has been fantastic.
Got to give this kid as many shout outs as possible.
He's been very productive.
Eight targets, seven receptions, 182 yards,
and a touchdown in a very strong performance
with a very narrow loss to Texas Tech comparatively.
Keyshawn Johnson, edge out of Syracuse, is up next.
He ended up having six pressures,
three of those being sacks and three defensive stops,
one target, one reception for 10 yards,
which we do not care when it comes to our edge rushers,
but a guy who is a fringe superstar of the week
and someone who has been named a couple
times on this list.
Continuing to our other stars of the week,
Keaton Thomas, linebacker out of Ole Miss.
Funnily enough, I actually have an interview
with him from when he was at Baylor.
Never got posted to the show because interviews don't do that well.
But, you know, very interesting person.
Three pressures, seven stops, one forced fumble.
It seems like a chill dude,
but stopped responding as soon as he ended up getting some NIL money.
So I have my opinion on players who do that.
But he also ended up being targeted four times in line,
two receptions for six yards, and got a pass breakup.
Effectiveness as a pass rusher,
run defender, as well as a pass defender.
Now we have Trey Richardson, wide receiver out of Louisville.
15 targets, 10 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown through the air
and four carries for 49 yards on the ground.
So a near 190 yards on 14 touches.
Really good receiver.
I don't know how much that's going to translate
to the NFL on a down-by-down basis,
but he's a reliable target
that I would end up targeting at the end of day two.
Hudson Hooper, linebacker out of TCU's next.
Or excuse me.
One pressure, seven defensive stops,
targeted four times,
allowing three receptions for 19 yards.
Just a solid linebacker performance
versus the run.
Braylon Johnson, defensive back for Wake Forest.
He ended up having three defensive stops.
He was targeted six times,
allowing four receptions for 20 yards
with an interception as well.
As a pass breakup,
Wake Forest continues to kill it this year.
Fred Johnson linebacker out of South Carolina,
two pressures, one of those being a sack
along with seven defensive stops for pressure or excuse me,
four receptions on the four
targets sent his way for 26 yards,
but a very strong performance from a very reliable linebacker
there at South Carolina that probably deserves
a little bit of day two consideration.
Then we have Lenora Sellers.
I can't not put him on this list.
Quarterback out of South Carolina,
24 throws, 19 completions for 301 yards,
three touchdowns and two picks,
which is like why he wasn't a superstar of the week.
But three big time throws, one turnover worthy play,
12 carries for 101 yards and two touchdowns
with four missed tackles forced on the ground.
Definitely lands him at least as a star of the week.
Then we continue Justin Bowick, wide receiver out of Oklahoma State.
This dude's been making a name for himself.
Seven receptions on 11 targets for 124 yards
and two touchdowns in their narrow loss.
Damon Ferguson running back out of Pittsburgh.
He's been fantastic this year.
Definitely passes the eye test.
31 carries 185 yards and a touchdown
on the ground with five missed tackles forced and
a reception on two targets for 11 yards.
Jelani Thurman, he's been getting a cult following,
tight end from UNC, five targets,
five receptions, 70 yards, and two touchdowns.
Last but not least, we have Shelton Lewis, corner out of Arkansas.
He ended up having a defensive stop, one forced fumble,
and as a corner, you got a defensive
stop and a forced fumble.
Along with that, not a single reception
on three targets sent your way, and a pass breakup.
Excellent performance there from the Arkansas DB.
Like I said, it's kind of divided
into two different sections, but pretty much four.
We're beginning the latter half of those with our duds of the week.
And it begins with, unfortunately, a familiar face,
Jaron Keawe Sakapula, quarterback
out of Cal.
I got to see him in person.
The kid's talented.
I can't, like, try to trash on him,
but he's been very inconsistent this year.
Of course, without Frederick Williams, he ends up throwing 44 balls,
28 completions for 186 yards, one touchdown and interception,
zero big-time throws, three turnover worthy plays,
two carries for negative one yards total.
Just not really a great performance.
I do think JKS probably will be a 2029 prospect.
Looks a little bit too far away for how much talent he has displayed.
Unfortunately, Alberto Mendoza has
been absolutely dog ---- this year and got benched
this past week.
He ended up being pulled in the second half after 27 throws
for 16 completions, 81 yards
for zero touchdowns, zero interceptions.
Listen to this.
Zero big time throws, five turnover worthy plays,
and then he had four or excuse me,
five carries for 37 yards with one missed tackle forced
and four more fumbles.
That is probably the worst performance out
of anybody that you have any expectation for.
So not good, not good to say the least.
Let's talk about the last but not least, our downers of the week,
so to speak, the losers of the week, I should say.
Austin Siriveld, he would be a super dud of the week,
or like a dud of the week, but I got to give him some credit
because of the fact that he's playing out of position.
Played right tackle this past week, 26 pass blocking grade per PFF,
five pressures allowed on 34 reps.
Just not good in any stretch, and USC ended up beating Ohio State,
so not good.
Bryce Pollard corner out of Texas Tech.
He did have five defensive stops,
but he was targeted five times,
allowed five receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown.
Isaiah Mizzell ended up putting this dude through the ringer.
Which is not good for, you know, NFL cornerback talent,
but maybe put Isaiah Mizzle even higher
on some draft watches.
Nicky Prongo's left tackle out of Stanford.
He ended up having three pressures allowed on 41 reps,
and that included, I believe,
reps to, from what I remember, I think it was to Tyler Thompson.
So not a good performance there for Nicky Prongo's.
Continuing on, Eric Singleton, Jaden Baugh,
two players I love from Florida.
But Eric Singleton this past week, he was targeted nine times,
got four receptions for 19 yards and two drops.
Also had to carry for two yards as well.
But two drops, unacceptable, especially in one game.
Jaden Baugh has just not played healthy.
He's been playing hurt.
Like, it's not him just being banged up.
The guy clearly is on just not at the level he should be.
Personally, I think he should return and transfer to a school
that's going to allow him to heal and end up getting back on track.
That's my personal opinion, but 17 carries,
38 yards, five missed tackles forced, and
no reception on the one target he got.
Not good.
Not good at all.
Josh Hoover, quarterback out of Indiana,
got his ass benched, 19 throws, eight completions
for 119 yards and touchdown and a pick.
No big time throw or turnover worthy play.
Very unfortunate for the sub six foot
quarterback that is listed at 6'2".
Fun fact, it was confirmed in summer
by the National Football Scouting team.
So, not good.
Fahmy Ejaboy has been on this list as a Superstar of the Week.
Now he is on the Losers of the Week.
11 carries for 20 yards with two missed tackles forced.
One reception on two targets for 18 yards and a drop.
So, near dud of the week territory after being
on Superstar of the Week not too long ago.
Christian Allegro, linebacker at Ohio State, is next.
He had a pressure and a defensive stop,
but in the loss, he ended up having four targets,
four receptions for 84 yards.
I believe one of those was that crazy Bowman type of,
the Bowman jump, the Bowman leap,
so to speak.
But to be fair, that tight end is probably going
to be a top 10, top 5 selection.
Like, he is...
That's Brock Bowers 2.0, and we're kind
of seeing how valuable that is nowadays.
Last but not least, Damon Wilson, edge out of Miami,
and in a game where his own teammate
went off, Wilson ended up having no production,
no run stops, no pressures.
Had to include him on this list because he's
been on Superstar of the Week, definitely
needs to have some balance in that.
That's the video.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
Showing the love you always do.
Love you.
See you later.
Peace.
