All right, we know it's a lot, but don't let
the election stress you out.
Relax a little here.
Our Heather Healy joins us, tells us how some local disc jockeys
are trying to lighten the mood at the polls.
Love this story. Good morning.
Hey, I love this too. Good morning to you guys as well.
And literally seconds ago,
we see these two mother-daughter duo down the street.
Grace is here and she is dancing to it.
Sandy is with us as well. This is your first time boating.
How great is it? Just a little intro as
we walk into the polls. How are we feeling?
I'm feeling great. Feeling very excited. Very cool.
Having your voices heard and we are dancing all
the way through it. Thank you guys very much.
And they are dancing the morning away.
And guess who I have got? I have got
DJ Devin Wilkins here.
Tell me your professional DJ name.
DJ Money 813.
DJ Money 813.
You guys have fun voting, okay?
Have fun.
This is really cool.
I love this because it gets kind of a pep
in your step before you head to the polls.
That is correct.
That is correct.
I am with DJs at the polls this year for the election year.
We're just coming out.
We're in 24 different states DJing at the polls just
to get people to have a good vibe,
come out, vote, and have a good time.
Now, how long has this been going on?
It's a little different from the past few years since the voting.
Voting has changed a little bit.
So our first national start was in 2024 and it took us to 24 states.
With those 24 states, we have over 4,000 locations that we're serving.
It's over 2,000 DJs that is a part of DJs at the poll,
and we're just here on election days to turn up, have a great time,
and serve up some good music while you put in your vote.
That's right. All right, and your vote matters.
So come out here and have some good times, have some good vibes.
Now, what kind of music are we playing here this morning?
We're playing open format, all genres.
We're going from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s to the present.
So anything anybody want to hear, just come in, get a request.
I'm here at the polls all day, DJ Money 813.
DJ Money 813, all right.
But I'm a 90s girl, but 80s is my favorite.
But how do you do, like, if I touch this, I break it.
What do you, how do you do this?
How do you do it?
We just have our splinting pattern right here.
So if you wanted to do, like, how most people say to DJ,
freaky, freaky, or scratching.
Yeah.
Oh, can I try that?
Yes, go ahead.
Russell Moore, are you ready?
All right, crank it up just a little bit
as we head back over to Russell and Laura.
But, I mean, you guys, they are jamming this morning.
I am breaking it down this morning.
Who am I this election day?
And look at this.
We're going to be with DJ Money 813 all morning.
And we're hopefully going to have some more voters come down
and dance their way to the polls.
It's going to be a lot of fun this morning.
Already got the name, DJ HH.
I got your name.
Oh, love that.
Oh, wait, wait, DJ H squared.
Oh, good.
Even better.
Even better.
All right.
I like that.
I like that.
Have some fun.
We'll see you later on this election day.
Bye.
See you later.
