Hybrid system possible near the Bahamas

Thanks for logging on to myfoxhurricane.com.
28 days left in the hurricane season throughout the month of November.
The areas that we typically are watching, it's the Western Caribbean.
And then typically we see these old frontal boundaries
that push down over the state.
They move over the Bahamas, the Florida Straits,
and it's these areas of low pressure that form along it.
So that's why you see this elongated area.
Another area that we watch is out
a little bit further into the Atlantic.
Sometimes we see these subtropical systems trying to develop.
I want you to remember that area out there because that may
be an area that we watch as we go through the next several days.
Here we are looking at that big wide view.
The one area that we're watching is out to the east of the Bahamas.
10% chance over the next couple of days,
30% chance over the next seven days.
So it's a low chance, but there is that chance that we see something.
Subtropical trying to develop.
What we actually have is an old frontal boundary.
We have an area of low pressure that will be forming along that,
and it may try and acquire some of those tropical characteristics.
That's why we call it a subtropical system.
So here we're looking at the Fox weather model.
You do see that area out there
as we go through the next couple of days.
Watch how you start to see that sign
of an area of low pressure developing,
and it just continues to grow.
Now, you just tell by the...
Spin of this in that big trailing area coming off
of this is not a purely tropical system.
It does look like somewhat of a hybrid looking system.
You can also see this front pushing down across the southeast,
and that will help to push whatever tries to develop onto the east.
So it'll stay away from us.
So there's no concerns with that at all,
but it's just a watch and see if we actually have something developed.
Look at some of the various...
AI models. We have the European AI and the GFS AI models,
and they're basically
picking up on this same idea as we go through the next few days
and then working its way
out into the middle of the Atlantic.
And then it does look like the conditions will start to become
less conducive for any kind of development.
Still a little time in that hurricane season,
about a 15% chance or 15% of the season that remains.
But you notice things really trail off
as we head through the month of November.
The names that we've used so far, will we get Tropical Storm Kyle?
We'll wait and see as we go through the next few days here.
And of course, we'll keep you updated right here on MyFoxHurricane.com.
