Video Summary
AI GeneratedTMZ Live covers a wide array of political controversies and celebrity gossip. Key discussions include the tension in the Michigan Senate race involving Abdul El-Sayed, legal investigations into Ilhan Omar and Thomas Markle, and family disputes involving Kim Zolciak. The episode also touches on Terrence Howard's eccentric theories and a review of celebrity Halloween costumes.
Welcome to TMZ live. So we are days
from the midterm elections
and all eyes are on Michigan
right now in the Senate race.
Abdul El-Sayed is ahead in the polls right now. And this
This could mean the balance of power in the Senate.
What is really interesting is he barely won against Haley Stevens,
the congresswoman in Michigan.
And she's been out supporting him, campaigning for Abdul,
although she's had a few conditions for her support.
But the other thing that we found out now is that while Haley is out
campaigning for Abdul, her fiancé is not on board with that message.
So this is what is really interesting.
Haley was on CNN a couple nights ago and basically said,
look, we, like many other families, are a house divided.
And her fiancé is not supporting Abdul El-Sayed.
He is Jewish.
And, uh,
And Haley is very sympathetic to what he is saying,
but still feels it's Democrats all the way.
I still very much want our Democratic nominee,
his name is Abdul, to win this race.
There's so much on the line.
I think our nominee is in a very strong position
to denounce the hateful ads.
That have hurt people.
You know, we've got one with Tucker Carlson,
who is a racist, anti-black, white supremacist,
apologist.
And we've got another that's blaming Jews for the cost of groceries.
And people are coming to me about this.
So this is a non-starter for Haley Stevens.
And she wants.
Abdul El-Sayed to specifically and explicitly disavow these ads,
which so far he has not done.
There is a rally set for Sunday,
and it is simply unclear if Haley is going to take the stage
because it seems like she wants
that disavowal before she makes her final move.
But let's bring in Jason Turkish, who is Haley's fiancé.
Who is not down with what she wants to do.
Jason, welcome back to TMZ Live.
Harvey, great to see you.
This is from Zoom this time.
I was told I was too tall to be in the studio.
Wow, way too tall, Charles.
He's starting with the short jokes.
Okay, we can take it, Jason.
That's fine.
I know it's incoming in a minute, so I gotta...
So we're looking at the house there.
Do sparks fly over this issue between you and Haley?
Look, my fiancee said it's a house divided, but she's also
been really crystal clear that an endorsement is not a blank check.
And she said a couple nights ago, and she issued a statement today,
she said, Abdul, you got to disavow these ads.
I mean, Harvey, these ads are insane.
First of all, can I just throw out an idea here?
Abdul.
Maybe you won the black vote
and the vote in the city of Detroit by like a bazillion points
because you're the kind of candidate
who's willing to put a white nationalist, white supremacist like
Tucker Carlson in your advertisements.
I mean, I'm a lifelong Democrat. I care about Democrats
winning. I've defected in a couple of races this year.
Some really, really crazy defections, Harvey.
I defected in a race in Maine where the candidate
was running against a guy with a Nazi tattoo.
And I defected finally after months and months of waiting for Abdul
to moderate after I heard him say Iran is not our country's enemy.
I mean, I don't know.
I think if he wants to win,
he should listen to Haley's advice and he should disavow these ads.
So, Jason, you're talking about the fact that you pulled your support
for those candidates, because where do you actually I know
when you and Haley came in to visit here.
She said that you're working here,
she's in Michigan, you guys have been doing this
bi-coastal thing. Where do you actually vote?
No, no, no, no. I live in Michigan.
My firm represents folks with disabilities nationwide.
I'm legally blind myself. I have a disability.
We represent 40,000 folks in all 50 states. We
have an office out in LA that I was visiting at the time.
It was funny. I get spoofed two
nights in a row after I saw you gentlemen on the Tonight Show.
You're a lot funnier than Falun.
Thank you.
All my friends, he could learn something from you.
All my friends in the disability
rights community are calling me going, Jason.
Are you upset? Don't you feel insulted?
I'm like, no.
I thought it was absolutely hilarious.
Plus, only like 17 people watched that show.
Oh, stop.
He said, wow.
All right, all right.
Okay, so look.
So wait, we didn't get the answer.
So you vote in Michigan.
I vote in Michigan.
Okay, so let's play the ad.
This is not an ad from El Sayed's camp.
This is a Super PAC ad.
But this is the ad that Haley and you really object to.
What about the bananas?
Yeah, I got them too.
But, honey.
What?
You're going to have to put those eggs back.
They don't like eggs anymore?
No, they like eggs.
But we have to set that $7 aside for killing Palestinians.
What? I mean, don't we give Israel $4 billion a year anyways?
Yeah, and now we're giving them another $26 billion.
Don't they get universal health care, too?
Yeah, they do. We're paying for that, too, probably.
Might as well put the bananas back.
Why the f*** do we have to pay for all of this?
Mike Rogers is for they-them.
Abdul El-Sayed is for you.
So you view that as blatantly anti-Semitic?
I think anybody who's reasonable in America views that ad
as anti-Semitic. It's bizarre. It's insane.
It says that you want better health care, you want better education for
your kids, you want child care.
We could afford it all, but for the Jews.
And the problem is, Abdul's run
his whole campaign with that message. Tweet after
tweet, fundraising email after fundraising email.
But now here we are at the 11th hour,
he's got an ad. And who made this ad? Are we even shocked?
Hassan Piker's uncle made this ad
that Haley's calling on him to disavow.
He's got to make a choice.
He's either with Hassan Piker's uncle
or he's with reasonable people of good faith,
good conscience in both parties
who say this isn't what we want in our politics.
Abdul, this is not tricky.
Be on the side of regular people.
Don't be on the side of Hassan Piker's uncle.
Jason, listen, being on the same side as Hasan Piker
is clearly a problematic issue for anyone,
and I disagree with everything that I've heard from Hasan Piker.
However, is there another way to look at that ad as being
this couple is critical of the political decisions
of Benjamin Netanyahu, of the Israeli government,
and not an anti-Semitic ad?
Yeah, I understand your question, but history teaches us otherwise.
Look, U.S. funding for Israel is about a 20th of 1%, about $3 billion.
It's not nearly enough money to end hunger
or pay for schools or provide health care.
But for thousands of years, the oldest trope there is,
is that we could have all those
things but for the Jews.
There's a deep history that this ad touches into.
And my question is, how afraid is Abdul El-Sayed of the far,
far, far left of what has been
my party that he can't call this out,
that he can't call out Hassan Piker, can't call
out his uncle and say, just stay
the hell out of the Michigan Senate race?
So let's talk about your fiance.
I saw her on CNN two nights ago.
Um, Caitlin Collins was pressing her, uh,
to find out, you know, would you say out loud
you support Abdul El-Sayed? And she didn't.
It was very clear she was holding back.
So what happens, uh, in the next four days?
Does she go to this rally if he doesn't,
uh, disavow the ad? Because honestly, Jason.
He's not going to disavow the ad.
I mean, you know that, and you know why.
Because there are a lot of voters
who probably like that ad in Michigan.
So assuming he doesn't disavow it, what does your fiancée do?
Does she show up on Sunday?
Does she specifically say she's supporting him?
Well, this I can offer some insight on, okay,
because I can tell you, don't try a BS excuse
with Haley Stevens. It's not going to work, okay?
Abdul can try some sort of non-apology, apology,
hurt people, hurt people.
I was just trying to offer some context. I'm sorry the ad hurt
somebody's feelings once upon a time.
No, the ad has come out at the 11th hour of this campaign,
and Haley could not have been more crystal clear
in her statement this morning.
You need to disavow it.
You need to choose party unity.
Look, her good friend.
Or what?
Or what?
Or else what?
Or else what?
No, I'm going to tell you, Harvey, her good friend,
Jim Clyburn, is coming up from South
Carolina and asked her to go to a black church with her on Sunday.
She's not saying no to Jim Clyburn.
She's going to go show up when Jim Clyburn asked her to show up.
But I got to tell you, when she says you better disavow this ad,
she means that I don't think
she's going to be supporting Abdul El-Sayed very much longer.
And it's not going to be because she doesn't want to,
because that's how this little, you
know, rift between us on this small political issue happened.
She stayed on Team Dem.
If this ends this way,
it's going to be because Abdul El-Sayed has picked Hassan Piker's
uncle over Party Unity.
He's going to pick Tucker Carlson.
What does she do?
But how does she vote, Jason?
That's what everybody kind of wants to know.
How does she vote?
If he does not disavow the ad, how does Haley Stevens vote?
Look, she's told everybody their vote is sacred and personal.
She also told CNN she's on Team Abdul and intends to vote for him,
that he just needs to disavow these ads.
It is true.
Jason, I will say, it was weird the way she said it.
She said, the Democratic Party has a great candidate.
His name is Abdul.
It was almost like she just didn't want to say,
give a full-throated, she never said
Abdul El-Sayed.
It almost felt like there was someone
from the Democratic Party standing right off camera
saying, you better stay in line.
Absolutely.
Have you guys spent some time with my fiancée?
You think somebody keeps her in line?
Not in line.
I don't think so.
Not in line, but it feels, like Charles said, it's not full-throated.
It's like she's saying it's a deal-breaker,
but it's weird to say on the one hand it's a deal-breaker
and on the other hand she supports him.
Harvey, I think there's a completely honest explanation
for what you're what you're pointing to.
And it's totally fair, which is this horrific,
uncomfortable tension that Abdul has put us
in where she where she has won the black vote extraordinarily.
She understands that these are communities
that are too often silenced and not heard.
She understands what's on the line in a U.S. Senate campaign like this.
And the Senate majority, our courts,
our rights for LGBT people who remember a time they didn't have them.
But then she also knows on the other side that in 2026,
to stay silent, less than 100
years after the world said never again,
it's a real problem with that, too.
There's one person who can end this horrific choice,
this difficult position we've all
been put in.
You know who that one person is?
Abdul El-Sayed.
Just condemn the ads, Abdul.
It's going to be a darn good day in America,
especially that Tucker Carlson ad.
You lost the black vote by a tremendous amount.
You shouldn't be running your own ads.
Those aren't super PAC ads.
That's his own ad with a white nationalist
on the eve that you're going to go into a
black church with Jim Clyburn.
Come on, Abdul.
Clean it up.
Well, look, we so appreciate you coming on.
You are amazing.
The bad news for you is I don't think
this interview is going to get you on Falun again.
I think I'm good.
I think the two nights in a row was more than enough.
We're good for a while, but I always love chatting with you, Harvey.
Thanks so much.
Great talking to you, man.
Thanks, Jason.
Coming up.
Well, Kim Zolciak and Croy Biermann should be getting together
to celebrate the wedding of their daughter, Brielle.
Kim is obviously going to be there, but guess what?
We found out Croy is not.
Be right back.
Well, Kim Zolciak and Croy Biermann should
be getting together to celebrate something this month.
That would be the wedding of their daughter Brielle.
And we know that Kim is obviously going to be there.
But guess what? We found out Croy is not going to be there.
So there will be no big family celebration, which you would think
would have been a great moment for them to at least come together.
And celebrate their daughter's wedding.
Are you shocked?
Listen, it always seemed to me like Brielle was trying,
at least, to be Switzerland.
Because Croy did, remember, for those who don't know,
Croy is not Brielle's birth father.
But he adopted her at a young age.
He has raised her.
And when things went south between Kim and Croy.
I thought Brielle was kind of staying in the middle,
but this sounds like she's 100% on mom's side, right?
Yeah, several months ago,
it was very clear whose side Brielle was taking, and it was Kim's.
And her relationship with Croy is extremely strange,
from what I have been told.
It's like they are not speaking, they don't text, they don't call.
Brielle has taken her mom's side.
I think a majority of the kids have taken their mom's side.
Troy is off dating a new...
I mean, Kim is dating a new person, too.
But, again, it's not her...
It's her adoptive dad.
It's not her real dad.
But he will not be at the wedding in Florida.
Well, he's as much as her dad.
Yeah.
We've spoken to Brielle so many times over the years
where she's...
Spoken very lovingly about Troy.
But how do you, how, you can't be Switzerland in that relationship.
I mean, it's war between Kim and Croy, and nobody can be Switzerland.
So she took a stand months ago.
Months ago.
And the idea of him being at the same event as her.
The police would be called.
Yeah, they're definitely restraining orders or something.
I'm serious.
Well, and also you have to think about it.
Kim's going to bring the new boyfriend, right?
She's going to bring her new boyfriend.
So to have the ex there, it just would be a mess.
It's almost like...
Brielle, even if she's taking her mom's side
and wanted her dad to still be there,
she couldn't do it because things would explode during the wedding.
Well, and I hate to say this, it makes you wonder,
is Kim's new boyfriend footing the bill for this wedding, right?
He's a millionaire.
So if you invite dad,
then you get cut off from the funds for your wedding?
I don't know.
Well, I mean, that's the most mercenary way to look at it.
But I think you're right that she's just,
she's taken Kim's side in this war.
So Troy's on the outside looking in.
She could put it on her Amex card and then send an email saying, honey.
Honey, would you?
Yeah, that worked.
That always works, right?
It didn't really work so well.
Tinsley, Chicago, Illinois.
I think when it comes to Kim and Troy's relationship,
this divorce has been nothing but tumultuous.
And I think a wedding is a beautiful time.
And it's also like the last moment you probably want
the police called, for instance. And so I
think when it comes to Brielle,
this is pretty dramatic relationship, dramatic falling out.
And I think her options in this scenario are limited.
But if there's anything we learned
from Megan, the Duchess of Sussex,
there's always a reason why someone goes no contact
that the public might not know.
Yeah, and that doesn't mean it's one side or the other.
I got to tell you, based on our coverage, it's both sides.
It is both sides in this case.
So big shindig at the White House last night
to celebrate Halloween in the South Lawn.
President came out with First Lady,
all sorts of festivities, and our Charlie Cotton showed up.
Yeah, what could go wrong?
Yeah, what could go wrong?
A lot could go wrong if Charlie Cotton shows up,
by the way, with rabbit ears, number one,
which I'm not sure he should have done, but did.
What are you wearing in costume? What's the big deal?
Okay, then Charlie just gets overtaken by the pomp and circumstance
when Air Force One flies over, and here's what happened.
Well, the sorry mate may cost us a pretty penny.
He knocked over someone else's camera.
And broke part of it.
And broke an expensive camera.
So, by the way, Charles, I didn't even tell you this.
I talked to Charlie.
Uh-huh.
So...
Did he get a bill?
No, he didn't get a bill.
He says, I was standing next to the guy.
And he said, the guy was pissed off at him, number one.
And then Charlie just started focusing on what was going on.
And then when he turned, the guy had left.
But I'm sure he knows who I am,
so I'm sure he's going to get back to me.
So, in other words, Charlie, who's paying for this?
Yeah.
And Charlie said...
You, right?
Like, ah, ah.
Listen, I want to be clear.
Was Charlie using a stick, a selfie stick there or something?
Yeah, I mean, and he...
So he swings his stick around.
And he swings it, and he starts walking,
and he steps on the guy's camera.
Oh.
I mean, and it's like...
Wait, did he step on the guy's camera,
or did he hit him with the stick?
Stepped on the guy's camera is the way I understand it,
and he broke the camera, and...
He doesn't know the guy's name,
but it's clearly a professional photographer, and the guy left.
Hey, can I point out something?
If Charlie doesn't know the guy's name, and maybe he
doesn't know Charlie's name, why are we doing this segment?
Because we're really stupid.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
Coming up!
Ilhan Omar is under investigation for alleged immigration fraud.
Homeland Security seems to be arguing
that her marriage was a fake marriage to her brother.
We're now finding out that the brother is gay.
Be right back.
TMZ's got every freaking thing.
Big celebs, big stories, big events.
Donald Rawlings took TMZ DC on a city tour.
You know what the irony of this is?
A black man takes a white person to the White House.
No, it wasn't.
It's TMZ.
Han Omar is under investigation, as everybody knows,
for alleged immigration fraud.
And the endgame...
For the Justice Department, and clearly the Trump administration,
is to have her denaturalized
and then shipped out of the United States.
And that sounds draconian, but that is the endgame here.
And now we're getting some details,
because one of the key things that the Justice Department
or Homeland Security seems to be arguing
is that her marriage in 2009 was a fake marriage
to her brother.
And we're now finding out.
That the brother is gay.
Yeah, that he is out and very proudly gay.
And it's talked about the fact that being from Somalia
and being openly gay is not necessarily accepted.
So the fact this is not,
there's no reason he would ever be talking about this
unless it were true.
So if he is gay, then again, it draws more question to
Why were they married?
Now, it wouldn't be the first time, though,
that someone who is now openly gay
...had earlier in life gotten married to someone of the opposite sex.
For sure.
That definitely happens.
For sure, absolutely.
And by the way, so what's happening here briefly
is that she married somebody in 2009, this man,
and the authorities seem to think there's evidence it is her brother,
and it was done to get him a green card,
and it was done fraudulently as a result.
They can't prosecute for that because
this was looked into back in 2016 under the Obama
administration and what they ultimately concluded
was there was some evidence but the statute
statute of limitations has run
So now what the Justice Department is saying
is that they're arguing that this is a conspiracy.
That it wasn't just marrying a brother in 2009,
allegedly, but back in 2000 they say
Her father lied to get her into the country
and naturalized by saying she was a minor when she was an adult.
Is there a statute of limitations even to denaturalize somebody?
In other words, if there is nothing criminal about this,
could they still denaturalize her and kick her out of the country?
Not civilly, if they can prove this conspiracy.
I think this conspiracy makes zero sense
to say that there was a conspiracy.
Where the acts were nine years apart in 2000 doesn't feel connected.
It's a reach to get her.
And it's clearly political.
Oh, he hates Donald Trump, hates her.
I mean, I think everybody knows that, that's no secret to anybody.
But with that said, it does at least seem like there is smoke here.
I mean, at first it was an allegation with nothing to back it up.
There does seem to be some evidence at this point.
So the the other couple of things is, well,
I mean, this is kind of interesting that.
When she got married to this man,
she's an observant Muslim, and it was not a Muslim
officiant who handled the wedding, which is kind of odd.
So then the point is the wedding itself may not really be legit.
We're saying she knew, because she knew that would not be accepted
in the religion, so she had to go to somebody outside of the religion.
That's the theory.
Okay.
We don't know.
Right, we don't know.
We don't know.
The second thing is when she wrote her income taxes
and sent the forms in and she listed that she was married,
she mentioned her first husband, not this man.
Which was kind of interesting.
She later said, that was a mistake.
Weird mistake to make.
Yeah.
Ooh, I was thinking on my first question.
Right, right.
How do you make that mistake?
That's an odd one.
So we don't know, but the bottom line
is this has got to be political, right?
Uh...
Duh.
You know, actually, I don't think this is political.
I think this is actually just like a crazy whodunit situation.
There is so much going on with this story that,
like, it's actually just a crazy situation
of so many different things that I don't even think
the politics are the most interesting
part of it.
I mean, her marriage situation is wild.
The story about her dad is wild.
I mean, Civil War, you've got this thing with this consultant
and millions of dollars going
into his...
Consulting company and then she marries this guy.
So now she's got access to campaign funds. I mean, yeah to me
It's not a political story. This is just a this is a story.
That's just so wild that people are just like trying to
Find out how their head can sit on straight
and they can understand all the crazy stuff going around this person
You know what though the one the one thing
that that I know I mean this very confusing the one thing I know
You like green
Green. You like green. We're getting into the fall, man.
I like it. I like the backsplash. I can see in the other room.
You got green. You got green going on there.
It's time to be festive, man. Pumpkin spice all the way. Coming up.
Meghan Markle's father is in a new pot of hot water
because the Daily Mail says that they found this storage unit
that he had rented, and this is near his home
in Rosarito, Mexico, and took photos
that show a lot of disturbing images.
Be right back.
Meghan Markle's father is in a new pot of hot water,
this one in Mexico, because the Daily Mail says that they went in,
they found this storage unit that he had rented back in 2017, and that,
and this is near his home in Mexico, in Rosarito, Mexico, and in that,
Storage unit, well we should say Charles, he abandoned the locker
He didn't pay the fee and he just abandoned it which then allows
other people to bid to go in do whatever, right? And apparently so
Daily Mail got access to that that unit
and took photos that show a lot of
disturbing images
This as the officials in the Philippines
are investigating him for a stash of child porn
his son claims to have found at Thomas Markle's home.
So now the Daily Mail says they reported this to the FBI,
what they found in that unit.
They took photos that showed,
among other things, some photos of Thomas,
apparently Thomas at a much younger age, with a woman who...
May or may not be of age, lots of books, magazines,
some dolls, just really creepy stuff that you're looking at,
and it's just not, it's a really, it would be bad at any time,
but coming just a couple of weeks after his son accused him
of having a stash in the Philippines, it doesn't look good.
Well, I gotta say, too, it...
It kind of is the stash that his son recalled as seeing,
because it's the same kind of stuff.
I mean, these pictures are really disturbing.
The VHS boxes, and they have negatives of photos
of young children being hogtied, I think was what they were saying.
Yeah, it's pretty sick stuff in that lawsuit.
So the FBI now has been alerted.
This is Mexico.
Um, they're also involved in the Philippines,
um, as for England, um, there doesn't seem
to be any investigation going on because he was really never there,
although the police
there gave Megan a heads up, I believe in 2019.
2018, 2019, yes.
Yeah, and so, um, you know, all of a sudden,
all of these stories, I think, Charles, are
starting to align.
It's all too similar. It's all very similar, and it makes you think
if what Daily Mail found in Mexico is legitimately Thomas Markle's,
and I don't know that Thomas has responded to that story yet.
yet.
He's denied the stuff that his son says he found in the Philippines.
He said that this is all made up,
but you know you could believe his denial in the Philippines.
If you believed his denial in the Philippines
and then this Mexico stuff turns out to be his,
it makes it harder to believe his denial.
And his granddaughter believes it, by the way.
Yeah.
Dane Drebin with Gig Harbor, Washington.
You know, when stuff like this happens,
it makes you feel really bad for the family.
But above all else, it doesn't matter who feels bad about it.
Pedophilia cannot be allowed in this country.
Pedophilia cannot be allowed in any country.
And it's what gets me so upset about
the Epstein files when people are like,
oh, we can't release all of them because,
you know, it's going to hurt some people.
It's already hurt people.
And they need to be released, and you need
to root it out whenever you find it and anywhere.
It is interesting, isn't it, that in a way, the way the Trump
administration handled the Epstein files got overtaken by the economy.
That's really interesting because in the first year,
it was all about the Epstein files.
So in a way, they lost in the economy,
but they almost got a pass on Epstein during this election.
So Terrence Howard is considering a run for president,
and his platform is very interesting.
It is a topic that has been very polarizing in this country.
He's talking about reparations,
but he has a plan for reparations, and it's not a lump
sum payment to the descendants of African slaves.
Something different.
And Saleha got him out in New York City, and he laid out his plan.
I watched that video on reparations.
Would you be open to meeting with the president to talk about it?
I would love to.
I think he's uninformed regarding the impact
that slavery had upon the people of color.
I would love to sit down and have a conversation with him
because it cost him nothing.
It cost him nothing.
Except, you know, no taxes to African-Americans
or the descendants of slaves for the next 400 years.
Are you looking forward to voting?
Are you coding?
Yes, I'm looking forward to becoming president.
I know that's right. Is that real?
That's what I'm looking forward to.
Is that real?
They're not going to make a difference.
Somebody's got to do something.
Somebody's got to do something that's got some heart.
Charles, is he serious about the 400-year thing?
He said, I mean, if you take the man at his word,
well, first of all, costing nothing is not true
because somebody's got to make up the difference.
Right, exactly. Of course,
it costs something to have any group of people not pay taxes
is going to cost the country something.
But that's the whole point of reparations, right?
That, yes, it's going to cost the country something,
but the descendants of African slaves have already been paying a price.
That's what reparations are.
Harvey, he's always had some pretty colorful ideas about math
and how these things math out.
He also pushes the idea that 1 times 1 equals 2.
This is a very famous thing that Terrence Howard has
his own branch of physics and so forth.
I'm sorry, what?
Oh, you don't know that about Terrence Howard?
No, what?
Very, very famously, he pushes mathematical models
and his own version of physics,
and he's written papers saying 1 times 1 equals 2,
because if you multiply something by something,
it needs to make more of something.
So he has some out there ideas,
so I don't know that he's run the numbers.
But the problem, see, the problem is, is that when you,
when you basically, you know, blow this whole thing up to 400 years,
no taxes, there's no room for negotiation.
There's not. It's a pretty absolute position. And it's sort
of the math isn't that nobody's meeting you near the middle.
Right.
But maybe you start with an outlandish proposition
to land in the middle, but it's hard.
It's a hard way.
When you buy a car, I mean, I think, but here's the real problem.
It's just getting America or Congress
or a president on board with reparations at all.
You can talk about how you're going to do it,
whether it's a lump sum, whether it's,
you know, tax relief, whatever it is.
But first, just get someone on board with it.
That's the biggest leap.
He's trying to get the dialogue started.
It's hard to get you on board when you're talking four centuries.
It was hard to live through those four centuries, too.
I get it.
No, no, no.
I'm not diminishing it.
Do you get it?
I hear you saying.
I am not diminishing that at all.
I'm just saying that there's a reality of life that 400 years,
I think, misses.
Coming up.
I am baffled by something Amy Poehler just said.
She claims that she does not have Tina Fey's phone number.
She refuses to give it to me.
She won't talk on the phone anymore. She's too famous.
Be right back.
Back.
I am baffled by something Amy Poehler just said.
She did an interview with
The Wall Street Journal where she claims
that she does not have Tina Fey's phone number.
Come on.
It has, for years, been portrayed to us that they are besties.
Not just work besties,
but that they're friends outside of the workplace.
How in the world would Amy Poehler not have Tina Fey?
Even if they're not best friends,
they have so much entanglement in their careers.
She told them, she told the paper that she communicates
with her through Tina's, one of her assistants.
Okay, first of all, it doesn't make sense to me.
Now, secondly.
I mean Amy Poehler's got a lot to say.
She's got a really popular podcast now,
great career and all. That's the headline?
In a very wonderful way we've experienced a lot
of the same similar things at the same time.
Branching out of SNL and doing our own shows and
producing things and being moms.
But I don't have her phone number currently.
She won't, she refuses to give it to me.
And she has somebody answer all of her calls.
Is that true?
Yeah, she won't talk on the phone anymore.
She's too famous.
She doesn't even know how to work a phone.
She just, like, whenever she goes, what do I do with this?
Wow.
She just hands it to someone.
That's a joke.
It's a joke.
It's a total joke.
When you see her do it.
Now that I saw it.
Yeah.
When you see her.
It's fully a bit.
Amy was joking.
Amy was joking, everybody.
She committed to the bit.
Yep.
Mackenzie Eadie here from Iowa.
I have grown up just a huge Amy Poehler fan.
I think it started probably when she was on Saturday Night Live
with Tina Fey at that Weekend Update desk.
It was like appointment viewing for me.
And now that she has her own podcast,
it is once again appointment viewing for me,
or listening, I guess I should say.
But if Tina Fey won't pick up her phone,
she can have my phone number anytime she wants.
Yeah, um, she's...
cold comfort
Yeah.
Coming up...
We have the TMZ All Access now,
and Ryan Cabrera and Alexa Bliss were on our bus, and people
went crazy for them.
Be right back.
So we have a new thing with our TMZ tours, our TMZ experiences.
We've talked to you about TMZ After Dark, our Comedy Crawl.
We have the TMZ All Access now.
And Ryan Cabrera and Alexa Bliss were on our bus,
and we went through Hollywood.
And I got to tell you, the people,
it sold out immediately, but people went
Crazy for them.
If I had a dollar,
every person who had you as their last screen guarantee, you wouldn't
laugh this much if you weren't around me.
Must be pretty fun hanging out with me.
That's
Alexa's song.
It's called I'm So Drunk (Lexi's text)
because the song is formed out of all these funny drunk texts
she sent Ryan in the past, and together they collaborated.
They made this song together.
She's not only a wrestler, she's a singer.
It's amazing.
It's really, really cool.
And by the way, now all the celebrities in town
are flocking to host this new TMZ Access event.
It's really fun.
We had a K-pop group the other day.
It shut down one of the streets, actually.
But it's really where you can get close to...
Some of these stars and Ryan Cabrera, people went nuts for.
He is so sweet because he did this for Lexi
and he wanted to like kind of promote her song.
But then at the end,
we just had to like hear him sing his like hit song all the way down.
OK, by the way, that's it's not real.
Not real blood. It's Halloween. Right. Right. Right. Right.
OK, what else you guys want to talk about?
It's Miranda in London and I want to talk about Thomas Markle.
Yeah. Yeah.
I can't believe that they found a second stash
and the brazenness to hire a storage unit
and to fill it with all of these unbelievable materials.
We've heard about materials as young as toddlers
and then just to abandon it,
just to leave it unpaid,
to not even care,
to not even remember
that he has been gathering this sick material.
You know, you make a point that you got to wonder.
Is there another storage locker somewhere?
The amount that was found in the Philippines,
now we've got tapes, we've got photos, books, URLs.
Like, what else is there?
I think he's covered every single base in sick, predatory, pedophile.
Really unbelievable.
One more.
Hey, I'm Mateo from Washington, D.C.,
and I have a comment about the Ilhan Omar story.
So I understand Ilhan Omar's former husband says that he's gay
and somehow we're supposed to believe that that proves
that he's her brother, because if that's the standard,
then I guess I'm going to have to conclude that George Santos,
who was married to a woman and Michael Huffington,
who came out in 98 after being married to Arianna Huffington,
they were all married to their sisters.
And also, let's remember that the Grindr activity during the 2024
Republican Convention should probably also be a topic of conversation.
So maybe we should start investigating everybody's family tree.
Look, you're 100% right that just
because he's saying he's gay now doesn't mean
that this couldn't have been a legitimate marriage back in 2009.
You're 100% right on that.
It's that, you know, look, this was investigated,
according to the New York Times, in 2016 by the Obama administration.
And they said they found some evidence,
but stopped because of the statute of limitations.
So I agree with your principle,
but this is a case where at least it doesn't lay squarely
at the doorstep of Donald Trump,
that there were predecessors who looked at this.
Coming up.
Northwest, I think, wins the competition this year.
It is really, really good.
How do you suppose she was able to pull that off?
Yeah, be right back.
Look who's lurking.
It's Halloween, after all.
By the way, he's sick.
That's why we're doing this at Scurvy.
Speaking of Halloween, Northwest, I think,
wins the competition this year, which has
become kind of an arms race.
So yesterday, we talked about Keke Palmer and her son
doing Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson.
A lot of people said that he looked more
like Edward Scissorhands.
Well, Northwest said, hold my beer.
This is how you do.
Hold her beer.
Well, I mean, she was really drinking.
This is her Edward Scissorhands.
Oh, that's good.
Scissorhands.
Oh, that's good.
It is really, really good.
How do you suppose she was able to pull that off?
Yeah, you know, listen.
This is a case of the rich getting richer.
It's probably Kim's stylist, Kim's hair person.
Several thousand dollars in labor went into that costume.
Yes.
Oh, by the way, real quick.
But she wins.
That was the White House.
What?
I was the White House.
Oh, you were the White House, yes.
I was like, what?
What the hell is he talking about?
Yes.
It was a good costume.
Happy Halloween.
See you Monday.
