Welcome to TMZ Live.
We now know what happened to Diddy
when he was rushed out of Fort Dix over the weekend with a head injury.
And it has to do with all of the goodies that people in that prison
were enjoying and taken away because of one Diddy inmate.
Exactly.
And you could say that Diddy's really put his foot,
stepped in it this time.
Oh, yeah.
Because the person he pissed off happens to be a guy
who's been referred to by some people as the real kingpin of Fort Dix.
A guy whose name is Christopher Coke,
but on the street they call him Dudus.
And he is, or was,
a Jamaican drug lord who's serving 23 years at Fort Dix.
And this is the person that Diddy got into a fight with last Friday.
so according to our sources uh diddy
who was already in solitary because of that NBC report
and we should explain that report was that diddy
was enjoying all sorts of things he was enjoying
hennessy massages he had a cell phone where he
was getting nude pictures of an ex-girlfriend
and when that report came out um they started
an investigation threw him in solitary in the shoe
and they um and then a sweep began across
the prison where guards went in everybody started
losing everything all their fringe benefits all
their phones uh everything was confiscated and so
you have angry inmates you got angry inmates
and they're all angry at diddy so diddy gets out of
last friday gets out of solitary
and ends up coming face to face with dudus now they have some
what we're told there's some conversation about what went down
and the raids uh clearly everyone
is blaming diddy diddy's speaking up for himself
and that's what started the fight and diddy ends
up getting the worst end of that fight uh injuring his head
so the thing is um both of them are now
in solitary in the shoe right because of Friday's fight
because of Friday's fight and what we've
been talking about all morning is when Diddy gets out of solitary,
what are they going to do with
him? Because this could be an ongoing issue.
You have the two biggest, you have the most high
profile prisoner, that's Diddy.
And then you have the guy who's been in there much longer than Diddy
with the power, with the power who is clearly more connected.
What happens now between these
to going forward. I think it's a very dangerous situation,
actually, for Diddy, who doesn't have
as long of a sentence. But this man, Doo Doos,
is serving a 23-year sentence, of which he's served
about half so far. So he has a much longer stint left to serve there.
He wants his privileges,
I'm sure. He blames Diddy for getting them all taken away.
And there's a crackdown across the
entire prison. So other prisoners, I'm sure,
also blame Diddy and may side with Doo Doos. This could
be a very volatile situation
and quite dangerous for when he gets out. I think there's a Jeffrey
connection here. And what I mean by that is Jeffrey Epstein,
when he died, that prison took
a lot of heat and there were people fired.
There were investigations. I don't think this prison
for dicks wants a repeat where something bad happens
to a high profile inmate under the,
on their watch. And I think there are discussions about what
do we do now? Because if that were to
happen they would get skewered i think they would
but the social dynamics of the prison work the way
they do even though they have personnel
and they have guards and the warden can crack down in
various ways it's going to create friction
with his fellow inmates and i'm not sure how you
can create a situation that is completely called just
to be clear like on on the how these two
compare obviously everyone knows
who Diddy is and they know his wealth and his success and clearly
he's a powerful guy in a different way.
Dudus is a guy who is also very, very powerful and
connected, certainly outside of the prison,
and I would imagine, I don't know this, inside
the prison as well. He's been there 12 years.
Just to give you a little background, because
most people don't know this,
but when they extradited Dudus from Kingston to the U.S.
to face these charges, there was a war,
almost like a tiny civil war in Kingston where the
drug lords the drug gangs were defending him
because they didn't want the soldiers to take
him away knowing that he was going to be extradited to the U.S.
and so there was like a full-out war
on the streets for some time before he went, he's
a bigger figure, he's got more power than Diddy does and
now Diddy is the guy that had all of the perks removed for everybody
so Diddy is uh on a in a
bad position a bad very very bad bad list close starts
from McKinney Texas hey Harvey Charles team
i think that you all make some very valid points
so in terms of what the prison has to do to try
and think about what could this mean for long-term stays
for both of these inmates that clearly have
this power dynamic that's one area of consideration
but i also think that Diddy just got to be smart
and he got to press one for more options
and think about do i want a luxury lifestyle that
you know, when there's a crackdown on me,
it's going to impact other inmates and then that's
going to ruin their good thing
and constantly make me a target. Or do I sort of figure out
something different? Yeah.
But the problem is, don't you think that Chip is saying
the die is cast now and now he's got to figure out how
to live in this situation going forward?
Absolutely. So he's got to figure out how
do I change this narrative? Because listen,
whether he's at this prison, Fort Dix or a ship someplace else,
that theme is going to follow him.
So it's in his best interest to really feel, figure out a way,
rather, and how he can get back in the good graces of this dude, this guy
and not cause any future incident
or pay someone to figure out what's going to happen to me in terms
of the lifestyle I want without encroaching on the lifestyle
of these other inmates who clearly have a different power dynamic.
She says something really interesting,
which is a transfer to another prison where you get a reset.
And Fort Dix-
Remember, he wanted Fort Dix because it's closer to-
But now, there may be an issue with him staying at Fort Dix.
Boo Kelly Clarkson.
Oh, you've got to stop with the boo Kelly Clarkson.
I think we are closer, maybe, to figuring out
who really is at fault in the war between Kelly Clarkson
and this store in Brooklyn, The Art of Play.
I thought we just decided that.
No, you decided that, but I don't think
the rest of America has decided.
and what may settle it is the surveillance video
of Kelly at the store.
This is something that Pablo Torre got.
So we should explain.
She went into this store.
She saw this mechanical bird.
It was for sale for $15,000.
She said, I think I want that bird.
And they said, well, we can get you another one
that's a lot cheaper for $2,000.
That's Kelly's version.
That's Kelly's version.
Right.
And she felt offended by that.
And somebody would dare think that she couldn't afford that.
So she puts them on blast and everybody's going after the store.
She compared it to the Pretty Woman moment where they didn't think
that she could afford the stuff from Beverly Hills.
Now can we just say, boo, Kelly Clarkson.
So the surveillance video shows Kelly
in the store talking to one of the clerks about the bird.
She's pointing to it on the wall.
They're pointing to it on the wall.
Seems like it's going fine.
But then there's another part where she's leaving the store and clearly
she's a little more animated at this point when she's leaving the store
and gesturing with her hands and clearly, as we know now,
upset about the fact that they would not sell her that bird.
Now, they say the bird was a display and that their position was,
yeah, the artist could probably do another one for $15,000,
but it would take days to do.
they had another bird there
which was comparable that they would sell her for a couple thousand
dollars and i guess the question is why not just say
that to her if you really want that you can
get it for you it's just going to take a couple days
as the as the whole as the son of a liquor
store owner i can give you the answer
and again it is a bird in the hand that if that no because
i'm serious if they said that and then
and two days later she says i changed my mind you want
to get them when they're in the store
and so yeah as a salesman i would say yeah let me sell you the
two thousand dollar bird right
because at least i know i'm going to get a sale totally and they're
they're saying that they sold that they told
her that but she didn't stay long enough to see
whatever this two thousand dollar bird
was but what i noticed in this video is her version was
that she got the pretty woman treatment, right?
You know, you all think back to the movie
where Julia Roberts was dressed really sexy.
It's not about how she's dressed.
But, yeah, it is,
because that was the whole part of the movie.
When you say pretty woman...
That's not what she meant when she said pretty woman.
But, Charlie, the difference is...
And she's blending in here.
Charlie, the difference is that Julia Roberts
went to a fancy schmancy store on Rodeo Drive,
and they didn't think she was the right customer.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Are you saying Brooklyn isn't fancy enough?
What I'm saying is, look at that video.
It's a very busy store.
It's very hipster.
But everybody's dressed the same.
Right, it's not about how she's dressed.
But that is what she said.
And when people think of Pretty Woman,
they think that she looked like she was poor.
And that is why they tried to offer her something cheaper.
I do think what it is, is that they just didn't
recognize Kelly Clarkson as being Kelly Clarkson.
So then she wants a celebrity treatment.
I want celebrity treatment is what you're saying.
No, she's saying that she...
You didn't recognize...
We went and we spoke to one of the owners of the store.
This is what he had to say about the interaction with Kelly.
We are legitimately worried about the safety of our shopkeepers
because Kelly Clarkson has put us all in danger
by using her platform to try to squat this liquor store
This is a place of magic and joy.
We've created this place to make people feel like kids again.
Anyone that walks through the door, we invite them to sit down,
pick things up, and play with them.
It doesn't matter if they're going to make a purchase.
It doesn't matter if they're wearing sweatpants,
or they're nine years old, or they're a celebrity
that we don't recognize, they all get treated the same way.
And Kelly Clarkson's problem is that she got treated like
a normal person, and because of that, her ego was bruised,
and she decided to throw a Molotov cocktail into our shop.
I have a lot of sympathy for the pressure that she's under,
but the actions that she took,
it's a representative of what you see in the world.
It's asymmetrical social warfare.
Inside, it takes a look at itself,
and it gives celebrities a pass when they do things like this.
Preach, Charlie Cotton.
I am. It literally looks like Charlie Cotton.
You walked by a monitor.
I thought it was for a second, yeah.
But no, but I mean, he's essentially saying that.
He's saying that, hey, this is, you know, this is somebody
who got all upset because we didn't recognize it was a big celebrity.
I mean, that's what he's saying.
Yeah.
Right?
Now can we, in unison?
No, I'm not going to say.
Go ahead. You guys can do it.
No, it's fine.
Hi, Harvey. Hi, Charles.
I'm Jackson and I'm in New York City.
I have seen the tapes. And here's the thing. The only thing
that they tell us is that the owners of this store
are incredibly dramatic and messy. If you
we're releasing surveillance tapes from your own store,
it's because you're fanning the flames
of the controversy. And here's the thing.
There's no audio in that footage. And so what could the
tape possibly tell us it can't tell us anything
the point of it is to continue the controversy
if they wanted to end this whole scandal it could have
been done in five days they're choosing not
to do it and here's the thing Harvey it's not about
her being a celebrity i really don't believe
that she wanted the red carpet rolled out
for her but then what did she want i think she wanted to
be treated politely not rudely
How is it rude? What was rude about it? What would have been polite
would be to say, Ms. Clarkson, or whoever you are,
if you'd like this, we can have the
artist make one for you, but it's going to take a few days.
We'll take your information
down, and even your payment if you want.
I'd rather sell you a $2,000 bird.
But instead, you try to do that.
I'm a salesman.
Well, that's not polite. The customer is always right.
The customer wanted that bird.
One of us worked as a salesman.
Excuse me? I worked in sales.
Excuse me?
Excuse me?
I sold wine at 13.
Okay, we need to talk to the state.
Coming up, the story about R.J. Mitty,
the Breaking Bad star who died this week by suicide,
has gotten even more sad because we've learned what he
was going through in the days before his death.
Be right back.
Well, the story about R.J. Mitty,
the Breaking Bad star who died this week by suicide,
has gotten even more sad
because we've learned what he was going through in the days before
his death. We are essentially told that his fiance,
her name is Kennedy, told him that he
had to choose between her and his mother because she
and her and his mother did not get along.
She felt the mother was interfering with their relationship,
and it reached a boiling point where R.J. had to make that choice,
and for him, it seemed impossible.
What? I mean, that is...
It was described to us as literally an ultimatum. It was me
or your mom, and we know from tons of people that we have spoken
to that R.J. would never have given up his relationship with his mom.
Him and his mom were very close.
I mean, he was living in Texas either near his parents.
Near his mom.
His mom was really only a few blocks away,
but we were told he was close with all of his family members,
but especially his mom and sister,
and that people that knew him said this would have never happened.
He would have never done what the fiancé wanted him to do.
And by the way, we're not trying to paint
the fiancé as the bad guy here at all.
It's that she was not able to continue the relationship, she felt,
Right. With the mother and the way she felt
was the mother intermeddling and controlling RJ and that, you know,
she felt if there's going to be a relationship, she had to be first.
And so he was in this very difficult position
and it was weighing heavily on him.
We're told that in the weeks before he died,
he was distraught and was making that clear to people.
Yeah, someone I spoke to said he was calling over the last couple
of weeks, calling close family members and friends,
saying, I'm in this really tricky situation.
This is what's going on in my relationship.
And it was very clear, like you said to people that knew him,
that this was really wearing on him and not in a good way.
So he, what we are told is about a week before he died, they had
not broken up, but their relationship was clearly on the rocks.
we do the ultimatum had already been issued
at that point right we do not know if she ended it
um in the days before um he died
but the week before he died he was really upset about it
was i even unsure about whether to go to see
her or go to you know with his family and um in that
week before a full week before he had not broken up
with her that could have changed in the days
before he died people are mainly wondering the chats
if RJ was close with his dad and what that
means for the situation you they know he lived close
to his mom um but what's this what's the
situation with his dad do we know anything we don't
know i don't know that he was never mentioned
you know he was never mentioned part
of that and and just i don't know why he chose between
solely his mom and his fiancee
um if anyone i don't think he chose well yeah in a way he may
have chosen maybe yeah yeah hi my name is karina i'm from toronto
and you know learning about rj's
death is something that impacted a lot of people
and I think that learning the news now about you
know him having to choose between his mother
and his fiancee is heartbreaking you know we saw clips
of him in interviews and he is a very kind
and genuine person and you know seemed to have a very
good relationship with his mother his family
and his fiancee and having to choose between you know
who am I gonna choose my fiancee
or my mother, something like that, maybe just was very
difficult for him and um it's just very unfortunate
but but again to give her some grace here um it
may have been impossible for her too right she
was just saying that that's just the reality of it
right um but man what it's a tragedy
so terrible tragic especially because he had so much in his
career that was going so well as he's described
to some friends this was as good as his career
been since Breaking Bad yeah awful well some college students down
in Texas are in a uh standoff
with a neighborhood over parking.
This sounds like a very nothing story, right?
It sounds like a people's court case.
Actually, well, it is not even that.
And yet it has turned into there are protests now
outside this university.
It's an HBCU in Austin.
It's called Houston Tillotson.
I believe I pronounced that right.
Houston Tillotson University in Austin.
And it's an HBCU in an historically black neighborhood as well.
But there are some people
who have moved into the neighborhood who are not black.
And they have some strong feelings, these new residents,
about students parking on the street.
Everyone who's parking is parking legally.
And that is why this has turned into a big thing now.
Because one particular neighbor has
been walking around leaving notes on people's cars saying,
you can't park on this street.
But it's legal to park there.
But it is legal to park there.
they seem to have these new residents have a beef with these students
and one of the students
walked up to the neighbor to politely tell her hey this is okay
and look what happened
you know it's legal to park
on this street it's only illegal to not park over there
i'm asking you y'all keep riding
on people's cars telling them not to park here right
well it's like we had a park delivery
this morning we paid we paid 1.5 million dollars
Okay, what y'all pay to live in a,
you're in a historically black neighborhood.
This is our neighborhood, okay?
Yes, Karen, you pay to live here on a street that is legal to park.
Don't scream at me.
Don't raise your voice at me.
First of all, you're riding on some faces, car.
You can park.
Don't tell me what to do.
Karen, I'm on public property.
Call the cops.
You Karen lady, and I can't wait to put this online
so everybody can know how you moved
into this neighborhood and how you act
towards the people who lived here.
I mean, in fairness, she is a Karen.
I mean, we don't know what her name is.
I mean, but to say we paid $1.5 million.
I don't care what you paid.
And therefore.
And your graduation rates are only 25%.
What does that have to do with anything?
And therefore, you can't park legally
on the street next to us because we don't like it.
And mind you, Karen moved into a historically black neighborhood.
So, Karen, get away.
I don't care what you paid for your house.
It is interesting that.
That's ridiculous.
The first thing she said is we paid $1.5 million.
Is it racial?
Because I don't know.
Well, I mean, she could just be.
The fact that she said one, the first two things she said, 1.5 million
for our house and your graduation rates are only 25 percent.
What is the graduate?
I don't care if the graduation rate is 1 percent.
If they're paying to go to the school
and they're parking legally, that's all that matters.
I'm not saying it's not racial, but I know maybe it's not racial.
I guess.
Yeah, because if if this was a white school.
Right.
I think I'd be doing the same.
You think so?
Yeah, because she doesn't like the car.
I think so.
She doesn't want the cars on the street.
Okay, but I challenge you.
I challenge you.
As an HBCU goer, a lot of these students,
when they pull up, they're blasting rap music.
The bass is bassing.
You don't typically see that at PWI.
Let me just say, if Tawanda...
Taylor Swift.
Tawanda.
Tawanda.
You would complain.
But if they were blasting ABBA,
you would not have an issue with it at all.
Okay, first of all, I know you're going to deny this, but...
I'm a little Houston, Texas.
So you move into a predominantly black neighborhood and you demand
your respect straight off the bat.
I'm going to honestly go off on a limb here and say you
were sold a dream when you were sold the home.
There is no way in the world that you go putting
letters and notes on people's cars.
And then you follow up that statement, saying the percentage
of graduation rate and what you paid, babe, it doesn't work that way.
If you honestly pay.
It's hard when you're the first one to gentrify.
This woman's going to have a hard time living pretty much anywhere.
Sayonara, Karen.
Coming up.
The forensic expert that Nolan Wells' family hired
to go through his phone,
they've now released their full report on what they found there.
And we're getting a first look at some of the messages
that Nolan's friends were sending to each other.
And some of them will certainly raise eyebrows.
Be right back.
TMZ's got every freaking thing.
Big celebs, big stories, big events.
Donald Rawlings took TMZ DC on a city tour.
You know what the irony of this is?
A black man takes a white person to the White House.
It's TXE.
Well, the forensic expert
that Nolan Wells' family hired to go through his phone,
they've now released their full report on what they found there.
And we're getting a first look at some of the messages
that Nolan's friends were sending
to each other immediately after he disappeared.
And then a lot of them, obviously, after they learned that he had died
and some of them will certainly make raise eyebrows and go,
why would those kids be saying that?
And there are others that make it very clear that these kids,
some of them clearly cared very deeply about Nolan
and were very upset about his passing.
So a couple of them that, you know,
don't cut so well for the friends.
And again, we don't know which friends are saying this.
They've redacted that.
They just released the messages.
A lot of these are Snapchat.
Is this the family or the police?
This is the family.
A lot of them are Snapchat messages.
Some are text, but I think most of them are from his Snapchat.
Here's one that read, the smart move,
this is the friends all talking to each other.
The smart move is to ask for an attorney,
and that doesn't mean we're guilty.
It's just smart so we don't get played by some potentially biased cop.
Do we know what preceded that?
That was sent after he went missing, but before his body was found.
What I'm saying is, the one thing I've learned is,
when you look at it on its own, you're thinking, huh.
You need the full.
But you want to know what preceded
that to cause that person to say that.
And the conversation was about, the police had called one of the kids,
and they're saying, hey, if you hear from the cops,
this is what you should, it was sort of advice.
There's nothing in that statement.
Nothing, nothing at all.
Absolutely not.
It's actually kind of smart that kids that age would be saying that.
Some more messages.
We need to go to Nolan's funeral
and get with all our other black friends
to prove a statement for the media.
Now, that one doesn't sound so great.
When was that?
Before his funeral, but after he had been found.
And, yes, there was already...
That's what I'm saying.
Yes, there was already the buzz about...
That kids are racist, that they have killed him.
in him and perhaps did something to him kind
of stupid i don't know maybe it's a dumb comment
right and this one said i love nolan he would want us
to stay together through this and be there
to live on his legacy i'm sure there's a typo there
but you get the point and that's a nice
thing for the kids to say there were again there
are 300 pages another one said i'm praying you
get everything you deserve i'm praying you get
everything you deserve that wrong will be shown
and that if anyone did something to hurt you,
that they will be accounted for and punished.
So can you tell from this, like, if anything was deleted?
Because that's the part that is the most interesting.
They did say, and the expert came out and said,
they had initially said that someone had gotten
on his phone and deleted things.
That's not what happened.
They said there were people
who deleted some of their Snapchat messages.
So in other words, they deleted that from their phone.
When you send a Snapchat message,
you can delete the message you previously sent.
And I think there were some people
who had done that, but not the friends.
Not going onto Nolan's phone to delete it.
They deleted it from their devices.
By the way, there were messages.
I was so happy when I read this one because there was at least one
of his friends who said what I've been thinking all along.
And they said there were thousands.
I thought it was hundreds.
They said there were thousands of people on Horn Island.
How did nobody see what happened to Nolan?
I agree.
I mean, I think that's the point, is that, I mean,
the kids that everybody was accusing at the beginning,
you know, there's no evidence they did anything wrong.
In fact, there's evidence they didn't.
But you're right.
I mean, there were a lot of people on that island,
and somebody saw something.
And did they talk to everybody they possibly could?
Right.
Did the police talk to everybody?
Did the police.
And so I agree with you that just
to say we don't know there were too many people there
Not to be able to connect some dots.
It's way too soon to call this a cold case in my I agree with you
Hi, this is crystal in Atlanta, Georgia
And with this whole entire Nolan Wells situation,
first of all, my condolences goes out to the family
But I honestly believe that the race narrative that pushed India
and I call it the race grift narrative
actually caused the community as they said thousands
of people there nobody had anything
to say well with the race narrative
and all the threats that came about this is why people didn't
want to speak if they never brought in the race narrative it's
a really good point that that when
you see people getting skewered it's like
do I really want to come forward and say something
where I'm going to what a good point what
a good point coming up the DEA the Federal Drug Enforcement
Administration is now investigating to find out
the source of the ketamine that was used
at that frat party where Jane Doe says she
was sexually assaulted. Be right back.
Welcome back to TMZ Live. We now have new information.
I think this is really significant.
The DEA, the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration,
is now investigating to find
out the source of the ketamine that was used
at that frat party where Jane Doe says she was
sexually assaulted. Yes.
And the ketamine is such a, plays such a central role in the entire
narrative from both sides, both from the,
the accused frat brothers and also from Jane Doe.
They are all talking about,
it's so prevalent from the first time we read her lawsuit and then
And in everything, all the text messages that we've seen,
the word ketamine is used so often,
and it's almost casually mentioned how much ketamine they were doing.
It clearly happened a lot on that campus.
Happens a lot on the campus, and they refer to it.
By the way, everywhere.
They refer to it in the text messages as key,
so they're very familiar with this,
and now it makes sense that the DEA
is going to spring into action here.
And clearly used as a party drug.
I mean, there's no question because ketamine can
be used for depression, anxiety and everything else.
This was clearly a party drug.
They were snorting it off Jane Doe's body.
She was snorting it off a body part of one of the frat brothers.
So this is and by the way,
the DEA is working with local law enforcement.
So in tandem, they are trying to find the source.
Now, I will say this is a story we never did.
We just broke this DEA story a couple minutes ago,
but there's something we worked on a week or so ago where we
were told you should check to see if in the chemistry classes
or whatever, that's where they're making it.
The answer is no.
It was no, but the reason I think someone was thinking,
because it is so prevalent, we're told, around campus.
Well, you know where we're told they're getting it is,
and this is somebody who is connected to all of this, is Ithaca.
um that Ithaca New York uh you can get ketamine
and by the way that's no shock because you can
get it in just about any town where Cornell is if for if you're unaware
but i want to say that it's
it's not just the campus it's the town around
the campus i want to say one other thing that
you know we have seen the DEA jump into action
with Matthew Perry um it would not surprise me
at all if they're involved with uh Presley Gerber
and we know that they're involved in Hayden
Panettiere and we know they're involved with Hayden Panettiere
so with celebrity deaths they
get involved they don't get involved
in every ketamine death they get involved in these high
profile ones this is interesting
because it wasn't a death it's not a ketamine death but it is so
very high profile and ketamine has been mentioned
so much uh it's i'm not surprised that they were
drawn to this and we pointed out that the ketamine use
is going to be critical in any court case that
goes forward because as one
of our viewers raised yesterday how can any of them have been
lucid lucid when they were all admittedly doing
so much ketamine no that's true Crystal helicopter
is wondering how is finding
the drug dealer any different than finding the alcohol supplier for
the party well one is that alcohol
is is legal assuming they're um they're of age but uh ketamine
the way they're getting it.
I doubt they're getting it from a doctor for therapeutic uses.
So this would be pretty clearly illegal.
Personal question here, how hard is it going
to be for the DEA to find the ketamine dealer
of that party if the whole campus is doing ketamine?
Well, you could ask the same thing of Matthew Perry.
You know, how do they track it down?
They track it down because they can, you know, one person...
They bring in one person, ask the questions...
And they fold and they tell them something
and that leads to somebody else and somebody else.
but they're able to find a trail. I mean, that happens.
Will they go for all the ketamine dealers at the college?
We have no idea what they're going to find.
Jessica from Charlotte, North Carolina.
I actually agree with the concept that there's probably
multiple different dealers of this ketamine.
And also we have to consider that college campuses
are the major option for any drug dealing
because it's such a large group. There are
small communities. They want to be secretive.
And the unfortunate thing about all of this
is peer pressure. Kids probably don't
even have access to ketamine at home.
They get here, they overuse it,
and then we combine that with alcohol use and we have a major issue.
It is obviously a serious issue on a lot of college campuses,
but the spotlight is on this one because of the allegations
and how central it is to those allegations.
There is something really despicable happening
in the wake of the Six Flags tragedy in Georgia,
where this man was thrown from the Goliath roller coaster and died,
Hassan Kareem.
You probably have seen online GoFundMes being set up
for Hassan's family.
Well, we've spoken to his family, and they want to make it very clear.
They have nothing to do with those things.
They said, these are scammers who are just trying
to play off the interest, the spotlight on this story,
and they're just looking for a way to steal people's money,
really, because the family said, we don't need this.
Yeah, so unfortunately this is what happens
with these national news stories that happen.
People try to take advantage.
The family's already going through an extremely traumatic situation,
and they're extremely upset that there
are these people making GoFunds, crowdsourcing.
They're saying, we don't need any money.
We have not made a GoFundMe.
They have no plans on making a GoFundMe.
So any of these people that are donating,
you're not donating to our family.
So there are also,
the family is also clearing up some misreporting on this story.
Yeah, so I had thought that he was, because of all the reporting,
that he was at the park with his wife
and that his daughter was down below
and had witnessed the whole thing.
So I spoke to the family.
He doesn't have a daughter and he's not married.
So he was at the park with his girlfriend and his girlfriend's daughter
and his girlfriend's niece.
And it was his girlfriend's niece
who was actually on the ride with him.
On the ride with him when it happened.
Yeah, so they wanted to...
Because somebody had said a son.
Yes, but it was actually his girlfriend's niece
who was on the ride with him at the time,
and that is all not true,
all that misreporting that's been done.
Now, the park is reopening...
On Friday.
On Friday, but the ride itself is not going to be...
That ride's been shut down,
and there's other rides around the country
that I'm assuming are made by the same manufacturers
that have also shut down,
like SeaWorld and some other places.
So we still don't know what happened here.
It is a mystery.
The company that supplies the restraints, they have a good record.
And so it's just unclear if it was malfunctioned,
if it wasn't done properly.
Or was it user error by the operator?
We don't know.
Right.
And Eric David saying, honestly,
the more and more we find out about the story,
it seems like operator error.
We don't know.
Because a lot of the operators are teenagers handling
the lives of many that shouldn't be the candidates.
Again, you know, that's too easy, and there's no evidence of that,
just to say that because they were
teenagers that they did something wrong.
We just don't know.
We don't know that.
Coming up.
Okay, we are under three weeks until Election Day,
and some people feel that one candidate
in Indiana might have had a drink.
We have guns, too.
Be right back.
Okay, we are under three weeks until Election Day, and...
I need a drink.
Some people feel that one candidate in Indiana might have had a drink
before she sat down to do a little candidate forum
with her local station there in Indiana.
This is amazing.
Jamie West, who is a Democrat running for a county council seat in,
is it Fayette County?
I believe it's Fayette County in Indiana.
um she sat down to do this interview and we'll just watch
and you will understand why some people
think she was drinking we do not know that for sure
but man she went on the attack she is a
Democrat and she made it clear how she feels about Republicans, what
is the one decision that I would
make that might not be popular, right? That may
be unpopular with some voters, some voters, but is in
the best interest of the county. Hiring all
Republicans, I wouldn't let them, I mean I don't
even talk to them, I don't like them. You made
this happen. This ice coming into our communities
stealing people's jobs, I mean uh I've been threatened
so many times to my face
by MAGA, they call you names. It's my sheriff's
nephew threatened to blow my head off, but you know
what are you gonna do? Well that brings us
to um your opportunity to um say just a few last words
to the voters.
We have guns, too.
All right.
Throwing her hands up like that.
She's a shoo-in.
She's a shoo-in.
She's in a district where Democrats just don't.
Donald Trump got 77% of the vote in her campaign.
By the way, the thing she said about the sheriff's nephew,
the sheriff said, I don't have a nephew.
I don't know who she's talking about.
Who knows what was going on there.
But that is...
By the way, we tried to get Jamie to come
on just to explain what was going on there.
And she told us, I just spoke to my lawyer
and he said the best thing to do is ignore all journalists.
Just a small town girl who cares about her community and doesn't want
her Indiana emergency services and schools to go under.
And I should just say, and I'm sorry for being
so specific with one person, but if Jamie is listening, Jamie being
a former employee here at TMZ, who sent me a text saying you need to...
In the middle of the show?
Yeah.
Is it critical to something we're doing?
Not at all. Saying I should dress up like Susan for Halloween.
Wait, what's Susan?
That's Jamie White.
Who's Susan?
What Susan does she want you to...
Actually, I don't care.
Any Susan.
Go ahead.
Dress up like Susan.
It doesn't matter which one it is.
It's fine.
Coming up.
Santa Monica Pier, one
of the biggest tourist attractions in L.A., right?
Tell me.
You wouldn't expect to see a celebrity there.
Certainly not a celebrity like Sydney Sweeney,
because she would be swarmed.
She'd put on a wig.
Now, there's something to try and...
Watch this carefully,
because there's something weird going on.
Be right back.
On the TMZ Celebrity Tour,
we've seen huge stars like Kevin Hart,
Ben Affleck, The Rock, and Jamie Foxx.
So head to TMZTour.com
and book your tickets for the TMZ Celebrity Tour.
Santa Monica Pier,
one of the biggest tourist attractions in L.A., right?
Tell me.
You wouldn't expect to see a celebrity there.
Certainly not a celebrity like Sydney Sweeney,
because she would be swarmed.
Except that is exactly where Sydney Sweeney went with a friend of hers,
but she put on a wig.
Now, there's something...
Watch this carefully, because there's something weird going on.
So, she and her friend are riding some
of the amusement park rides there?
Yep.
And now they're on that.
What's the weird part?
You don't like her as a brunette?
I can tell you that...
Sydney's the brunette.
Santa Monica Pier is just packed with people.
Where are the people?
On a Tuesday.
Where are the people?
I'm sorry.
Yeah, there would still, and that is, wait,
unless they went first thing in the morning.
If they went, like, first thing in the morning when it first opened.
Apparently, they were there for a long time.
I smell a rat.
I mean, there were, you're right, like,
there would be some other people on the rides.
Some other people.
Where do you see people?
What does that think she's doing?
I don't do pull-ups at the pier?
There's something, something, there's something.
I haven't been there in a while.
How many people are on this ride?
It's just, look, there were two other people I saw.
And look at that.
There's nobody on that ride.
Something's up, guys.
What do you think she was doing?
I don't know, but something's up.
She was doing a little promotion for the pier.
This may shock you, but I was not born yesterday.
What else do you guys want to talk about?
Hey, guys.
Laura from Kansas City, and I'm here to talk about,
you guessed it, Kelly Clarkson and the Bird Story.
Oh, Kelly Clarkson.
I think this is a huge miscommunication story.
If you go to a furniture store and there's a floor model that you buy,
that doesn't necessarily mean
that it's available to take home that day.
Or even that you can buy a floor model.
Right, right.
And at this point, like, both parties have doubled down multiple times.
At this point, it's become a way huger deal than it should be.
I love Kelly, but she mobilized her fans against the store
over one worker on an
It's ridiculous.
It's ridiculous.
Like that footage,
you can see so many people.
She's got to chill, man.
Jeez.
Okay, one more.
Hi, my name is Princess.
I'm from Atlanta.
My topic is going to be
on the Six Flags.
It's just a real tragedy
to the family,
and I just feel like
he overcame a lot,
and he was trying to live
and enjoy life,
and it's sad that he lost
his life like that,
and that's my home Six Flags, so I don't feel safe there anymore,
and I would like for them to make some changes.
I was going to say, are you going, will you go back?
No, no.
They would have to, like, update all the rides at this point,
and I love roller coasters.
It's definitely going to be tough sledding for Six Flags.
Coming up, Samuel L. Jackson feeling a little nostalgic
for one of his most beloved roles.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance
