Welcome to TMZ Live.
Donald Trump has somebody else in his sights now.
And that is none other than LeBron James.
And Donald Trump is pissed.
Well, LeBron has made himself sort of a target for the right often.
Who can forget shut up and dribble?
Right.
But yes, the president now is taking issue with something that happened
when the Sixers opened their season at Madison Square Garden.
And this has really come to light now
because a fan posted their video of LeBron during the national anthem.
So all of the Sixers, all the players,
are out on the court in a line while the anthem is being played.
And you'll see most of them are just standing
and listening to the anthem.
LeBron had something else going on.
You can call
this clowning.
I mean, he's working on his golf stroke first,
then he's working on his shot.
What you saw during the broadcast,
there was a quick cutaway, and you saw him stretching,
like bending down and stretching, and even that was kind of weird.
But they didn't see that whole thing
where he's working on his golf shot.
Let's show what Donald Trump said,
and then I got questions about this, but this is what Trump said.
After the president saw that video, he said,
while listening to our national anthem,
LeBron James disrespects our country.
I said right from the beginning that he's no good, a total disgrace.
LeBron James should apologize to all
those great American warriors and heroes
who died for the American flag and all that our country stands for.
So the thing that has puzzled me about
this is Colin Kaepernick was a clear protest.
Right.
This feels like clowning.
and i can't tell is it clowning to protest i don't know
that's what i that's what i'm thinking
because if you're going to protest own it right
and if lebron wants to protest by the way i would
support he has every right to do that if he wants
to this seems like some sort of weird half step
where maybe he's protesting
and he's like i'm not gonna stand at attention because you want me to
stand at attention it feels like it feels like mocking it feels almost like
and it's just he's too smart he's too
He's too smart to not realize how that's going to be presented.
Madison Square Garden on Banner Night for the Knicks,
a huge national televised game.
I agree, Charles.
He knows the attention he's getting.
I think it misses the mark.
I think it misses the mark.
It does.
With everybody.
If you're going to mock or clown, that's not a real protest.
No, no.
And it's a weak-ass protest, and if that's what you're intending,
and if it's not that, then you're just dumb.
And you're right.
He's not dumb.
He's been doing this for too long.
But it's weird because he did it.
He did it.
Right, right.
Even if you disagree with Colin Kaepernick,
I think you can at least respect that he took a stand.
He took a knee, but he took a stand.
Right.
This is not that.
I don't get it.
I got a story.
What?
I got a story.
I've hardly talked about this,
but it has directly to do with Donald Trump and this.
um in 2017 um i had a conversation with donald trump
in february right about a month after he
was sworn in and um i left not feeling feeling alarmed
and upset now this is you would was it
the year before you had shot him for for the Objectified yeah yeah
and so i just had no
communication with him after that until september of 2017
and in september of 2017 um Objectified
which is the pilot i did with him that aired it became a series
and it ran on fox and that was the
it ran in september 17 that was the beginning
so we were doing our morning meeting here one day
and and he called i remember this morning i remember
and you walked over there right you
walked over there to take the call.
I didn't exactly take the call at first because I was
upset with him. Right. And just the way things were going.
But then you might have even said
it to me. You said, look, you got to call back.
So I called back. And, you know, what he said
essentially was that the success of his show may got us.
But he was trying to be friendly about it.
And I was clearly not sounding friendly.
Right.
And he said, what's the matter with you?
And I said, because I was not reciprocating.
Right.
And I said, I'm really pissed off
at what you've done with Colin Kaepernick.
To say, fire those sons of bitches
when he was doing a legitimate protest, just, it feels so wrong to me.
And I'm outraged that you did this.
And I thought he was going to hang up on me.
We ended up talking for 20 minutes,
and we were talking about the protest over the national anthem.
And I remember at one point I said to him,
do you realize that in the 60s and the 70s,
people burned the American flag in protest?
And he said, well, that's even worse.
And I said, yeah, but it worked.
And we ended the Vietnam War because of that.
And he was really upset at what Colin Kaepernick had done.
And we went back and forth on this.
And that's the last time I've ever had any contact with him.
But it's just interesting today to see that's
a similar reaction to what he had way back in 2017.
Yeah.
But I actually think, you know,
he's made it clear how he feels about this.
I want to hear from LeBron.
What is it you were doing?
What were you doing?
And if you're protesting, stand on it.
Do it.
Exactly.
But this thing.
got to imagine he's going to be asked about it now next time
the Lakers play so it was
fixers he missed he missed oh my god I think he's
on the Lakers still right by the way WNBA
this is also happening but it's
a clear protest they're actually leaving the floor which is
which is more Colin Kaepernick-esque
which is something they've been doing for a while but
because it's the finals and it's the year that the league
is really broken through now more people are
realizing that some of the teams do this yeah people
in the chat are wondering do you think
LeBron kind of was in on the joke and knew what he was doing
and did this to almost get a rile out
of people or was genuinely just well i think he wanted people
to notice definitely there's i mean
he knows that how many eyes are on him
in Madison Square Garden on opening night of the league you
know what's really weird is that Colin Kaepernick did something
in protest and there there there was
a real point to it yeah this i mean i'm just telling you
the way i receive it because it does
it's not a square protest, at least the way
he's, it feels disrespectful to me.
Yeah, because you're not,
yeah, exactly, because you're not actually
stating what you're doing.
Right, right. And if he actually was protesting,
you wouldn't feel that way. That's right.
Boys, hey, it's the midnight
streaming over here at Long Island. I can just tell you
what it all comes down to is respect.
You know, and as a dad of a 19-year-old daughter
and a 17-year-old son, and we watch
these games, you know, this is
what's happening in the United States of America.
Parents gotta go back to parenting, moms gotta
be treated like moms, and dads gotta do
dad things and this guy LeBron he doesn't realize how damaging it
is that all these children
they're watching him and they're just gonna say oh
if LeBron can disrespect the Knicks why can't
I disrespect my mom and my dad at home
and that's what that's coming down to he knows what he's
doing this whole thing is is an absolute game to him
and he knows he can get away with it and it
doesn't matter and but the worst part about it again
is our children are watching this and this
is what they're learning from whatever it was he
was doing I don't think his intent was for kids
to disrespect their moms and dads.
No, but I do think...
But I hear you.
This backfired on him, I'm telling you.
I'm still not buying this story at all.
The whole...
The suspension?
Yeah.
Yes.
Dancing with the Stars, if you missed it,
earlier this week,
they suspended one of their dancing pros,
one of their most famous
and most popular dancing pros,
Val Chmerkovskiy,
because...
Oh, it's ridiculous.
It's so ridiculous.
He supposedly made a Will Smith slap comment
to Carrie Ann.
To Carrie Ann and Inaba.
And he didn't say it that way, but everybody got to clutch their pearls,
and he got a one-show suspension.
And they got, by the way, and got a lot of publicity.
So his long suffering has now ended.
His suspension is over.
I still want to know, did he get paid?
Because if he got paid, it's all BS.
Yeah.
What was their answer on that?
Because we asked the production company if he was being paid.
The production company would not comment about his contract.
Feels to me like, yes.
Well, he is back in the ballroom just rehearsing,
going back in for rehearsal.
So, suspension over.
By the way, I don't want to gloss over what Charlie just said.
That they wouldn't?
That they wouldn't say, yeah, we suspended him.
Because if it's a real suspension, they would say that.
The fact that they won't say it, my money is on, he got money.
Right.
Whether or not he got money or not,
we know that there are true feelings involved in this, though.
because we had heard from sources that Carrie
and Nava had a conversation with the HR department
over at the production company.
And she told them that she was very upset about that post,
that she felt threatened. She wanted them to look into it.
When we spoke with people,
you know, also connected with the production company,
they were claiming, oh, we would have
looked into it regardless if she was bothered or not.
He said it on the air, didn't he? No,
No, it was a social media post because his wife,
he was basically defending his wife.
Who's also a pro.
And Carrie Ann had criticized the performance.
She went to HR over that post?
Seriously?
Eggshell.
Yeah.
Except Carrie Ann Inaba is not that generation.
She shouldn't.
Eggshell.
Yeah, and we're also told, too, like,
as you guys just said, Val's a favorite.
Val has never had any complaints against him,
so he was a little embarrassed.
He's very happy to be back, you know, doing rehearsals.
But, you know, when they see each other
for the first time on stage next week.
Oh, it's going to be tense.
There's going to be a lot of fireworks.
I mean, yes, everyone will be looking to see if she,
you know, marks him down a little bit.
Yes.
Just as a jab.
Oh, maybe he should try to get her disqualified as a judge
because she's biased now.
Well, we're going to have to send this to a higher court.
Now we're going to have to send this to a higher court.
People's court.
And Chris is wondering in the chat, too,
I wonder if there's a clause in their contracts
that the PR department has to approve all social media posts.
But with this, I mean, clearly not.
They are told to engage on any social media platform
you can possibly engage in.
This is ridiculous.
Coming up.
Whitney Rose, one of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,
has an offer on the table to get on the table,
or at least in someone's lap,
to do a little topless dancing in Las Vegas.
Be right back.
So some people will see this as a bit of an indecent proposal.
Is that the way you see this?
Well, listen, Whitney Rose,
one of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,
by the way, freshly divorced.
So again, another housewife who's not actually a housewife.
Doesn't matter anymore.
Are there any left?
but she well no i mean i don't know
a single one i don't know kyle separated i mean which ones are
actually married anyway uh whitney has an offer
on the table to get on the table or at least in
someone's lap to um do a little topless dancing in Las Vegas
and for a price for a price which
look the uh the folks
at Larry Larry Flint's Hustler Club i'm sure they thought they made
her a really great offer, $40,000 for a 10-minute performance, topless.
I don't understand how they run
a business where they think they can get that money back
for $40,000.
You clearly haven't seen how much money people spend at strip clubs.
Especially in Vegas.
But would you get more people,
enough of additional people to justify the cost?
I don't know.
I think so.
So what happened here was,
so Larry Flint has worked with other housewives in the past.
Oh, is that right?
Yeah, so I forgot which ones.
I want to say Larry.
Well, not Larry Flint.
Not Larry himself.
No, not him himself, the club.
Yes, his club.
But so what happened was they were in some type
of negotiations to have Whitney just do a hosting gig,
but I think they weren't seeing eye to eye on pricing.
So essentially what they did was like, well,
if you do a 10-minute burlesque show, topless, it'll be $40,000.
So did she accept?
So she said she's in, right?
I don't think so.
Sort of.
So what we're told from the club side is that they countered,
so I believe her agent said, $250,000.
Oh, so this is that joke about we're not establishing who you are,
we're establishing price.
Here is my point.
She's clearly, that's her representative saying, she'll do it,
we just don't like your price.
Yeah, and so I saw that number,
and I don't think there's any way
the club can make the money back with that.
I was told from the club side they're mulling over
the offer, but I just don't—
What are we talking?
Five figures, six figures, what?
What are they countering at?
Whitney—
They have not countered yet.
So Whitney's people countered at $250,000.
We've got too many numbers here.
Hold on a second.
So they're $250,000.
The club initially says $40,000.
Her people come back and say, that's not good enough.
We want $250,000.
And now we're waiting for a—
I guess another counter, I assume?
Well, there's another option, which is go pound sand.
I mean, did they, well, here's the thing.
Did they, did her people come back at $250 because they thought.
Well, she's getting top quality.
Is that her, but also.
That's her price.
But that could be her way of saying she's not going to do it.
Like thinking they're never going to pay that.
Here's what you.
So you throw out.
No, no, no, no, no.
It's Kelly Clarkson at the toy store.
Here's what you say.
Not interested.
If you're really not interested, you say no.
You don't want to put it out there that you're just.
That you'll do it for a price.
It's that joke.
You know the joke I'm talking about.
No, I don't.
You made a reference before, and I was like,
I'm not going to make fun of you for being old.
I'm not saying it's her, but it's the joke about
that somebody calls somebody a prostitute,
and it's like, we weren't talking.
It was an Arthur.
It was an Arthur.
Dudley Moore said it.
Bro, I was 10.
Okay, whatever.
250 over 10 minutes?
What?
Hey, guys, it's Michael in New York.
Yeah, I mean, I think the thing here is that,
you know, if she does go through with this,
which I don't think she's going to do for 40 grand,
And I think maybe 50, then we're, you know, which it doesn't sound like
a big difference, but 40 just seems like too incremental.
I think if she goes through with this, she's going to want
to implement a no cell phones policy in the venue for the night.
I just don't think she's going to want it.
That's usually the policy.
I mean, I've heard that's usually the policy at,
you know, clubs like that.
Devin, is that what you told me?
No phones, no phones allowed.
Oh, yeah.
You can't film in those places.
They're sacred.
They're sacred?
I don't it is a sacred place.
What are you looking up the Arthur quote? Oh my god
Okay, before we move on I got the line from Arthur from Arthur.
The line was Thank You internet though
Yes, the line was we've already established what you are ma'am.
All we're doing now is haggling over the price boom boom
Oh, if you want to go back to 1980 and
And find out about that.
It was a good year.
It was a good movie.
Okay.
Yes.
So, now, moving on to Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
and this investigation that is going in.
The federal investigation is to whether
or not she committed fraud on her immigration papers.
And part of that investigation includes this allegation
or claim or rumor.
So the idea is that she married her brother who didn't have
legal status so that he could get in the country using marriage.
And the concept here from the government
is that they're saying that if she did this...
She's involved in fraud.
She's involved in fraud and she could be deported.
Correct.
So she was asked about this when the congresswoman was on MS Now
and they asked her directly.
Now, it's clearly a very friendly conversation,
which I think makes it hard to get a good read on her here.
But it's a curious answer. Yes.
Who was this man that was your husband?
When did they start saying that he was your brother? Why?
I started with the Somali blog that I don't know if it still exists,
but somebody put in there that, you know,
that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect.
And right wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it
and they just kind of went and like found random people who were like,
she introduced us, you know, she introduced him to us
and said he was her brother, which is, you know, insane.
I mean, I don't I don't know those people that they talk about.
He was not you were not related to him at all.
Not that there's not like there's
not some weird kernel of truth that through some game
not to my knowledge so not my knowledge now she is kind of laughing
so maybe is she sort of is
she laughing off the whole notion
of this or is that her actual answer like because that's that's
a half answer she has many many times you're leaving
a door open by saying not to my knowledge
i get it and that's probably gonna come back
to honor in fairness to her if we want to give it to
her she has many many times denounced
this as lies malicious she's been unequivocal in many instances
and she was in this interview as well she was unequivocal
and this seems to be a little bit
of a laugh now people you're going to hear what you want
in this right if you want to hear i'm
not certain because maybe it wasn't
but you can hear that there but to be fair to her she has
unequivocally said in the past she said unequivocally
this doesn't seem in this interview
she says that's a disgusting uh disgusting lie disgusting rumor
that yeah right right exactly
right exactly so there are two things going
on with her in terms of the government one is that
which she says is and in the past has said unequivocally yeah
and the second is that she
herself got citizenship because her dad declared
her as a minor um when he was in the united states
um and the government is saying there's evidence
that she was actually 18 which would have made
her not a minor which not would which
then would not have made her eligible uh for that kind of
automatic citizenship right so the government is still looking at both
and as you know they've also
um searched her home they got
a search warrant three weeks before the election which is very
odd because the policy of the justice department
is we don't mess with things that would affect
the election yeah 60 days overlying had
been the policy that had been the policy has not been
enforced in recent years under overlaying
this entire thing of course is that she is one of
Donald Trump's most vocal opponent
and he hates her and it said he hates her and so and he does
control it is not hard to connect those dots very closely
that's it if she committed crimes then she
has to pay the consequences hi I'm Jordan Leandra I'm
a political commentator in Washington state
I definitely don't interpret her response as uncertainty
and I don't think she was struggling
to answer the question I think she was refusing to legitimize it
and rightfully so I mean this
is an allegation that's been circulating for nearly a decade
and there's still no publicly
established evidence that she married her brother.
So I think there's definitely something to be said
about the expectation that someone has
to repeatedly defend themselves against an accusation
that has not been substantiated.
Coming up, the Atlanta Falcons have a new logo or at least a new
profile. I don't know if it's going
to be a new logo they put on their helmets, but that's the
new brand and a lot of people had a very strong reaction to it
because the combination of the
colors there is similar to some nazi flags
be right back tmz's got every freaking thing big
celebs big stories big events donald rawlings took tmz dc
on a city tour you know the irony of this
is a black man takes a white person to the White House
so the Atlanta Falcons have a new logo
or at least a new profile i don't know
if it's going
to be a new logo they put on their helmet uh
but this was something they posted online said
new profile picture
so at least on the team social media that's the new brand and a lot of
people had a very strong reaction to it
because they did not see it coming that's one way to put
it the colors the red
and the black we people are familiar that as being the Falcons colors
the gold and or brown depending on how you see it not so much
and people aren't familiar with that
as being the Falcons brand
and so it looks the combination of the colors there is similar to some
nazi flags uh back in nazi germany
and that um really upset some people well especially
And especially the owner is Jewish.
The owner is Arthur Blank.
Yes.
Now, the question is, I mean, you're making
an assumption that the owner saw it and signed off on it.
I doubt the owner saw this.
This was on their social media feed.
I doubt he approved it, but it's the coordination.
By the way, I got to disagree with that.
I got to disagree with that.
I think that it has to come across Arthur Blank's desk.
If you're going to change the logo of the team he owns,
it's going to come across as maybe, maybe, maybe not.
I don't think so because he would have been sensitive to it,
even though it is a different type of bird.
It's not an eagle.
It is a falcon, obviously.
These are, when you see a militaristic,
angry-looking bird and the vertical stripes,
it reminds you of those banners from Nazi rallies.
We've all seen those images in history books and so forth.
And that was the reaction that a lot of people online had.
Now, on the other hand, we found some old images.
Now, I see what they were going for.
Now, it maybe didn't work out in the end,
and someone should have seen that.
But if you go back to their, in fact,
they still wear them as a throwback helmet.
you'll see that the teams
I think it was 2009 when they
first wore these helmets
1944
it was 2009
and in the center of the helmet
there is a gold
there is a gold line and I think what they
did is they took the center of the helmet
and they just put the falcon over that
but then it looks like a banner though
that gold line apparently is there
as a tip of the hat to Georgia Tech
but there have been so many things with football
teams, with sports teams. Football stadiums
in particular. Yeah, I mean, just
sports teams. Robert Kraft
and the whole Macklemore saga.
Well, I'm not talking about that. I'm just
talking about names and
images. Yes.
It just happens a lot. And oftentimes, we'll
say that this is a company just trying
to get publicity, trying to get attention.
The Falcons don't need to do that.
An NFL team doesn't need to
create any controversy. So will they change it?
Will this change?
I don't think so, because they can point to the helmet
that they still wear to this day as a throwback.
They wear it at least once every year.
Oh, I disagree.
If it's evocative of Nazi imagery, I think they will change it.
I do have a question.
If Arthur Blank has an issue with it, they'll change it.
Yeah, Arthur Blank might put a Star of David on.
You want to get real tinfoily?
Let's go.
Okay.
Wasn't there a Nazi general with the name Helmut?
There was a German person, Helmut Kohl.
No, Helmut.
Helmut.
Helmut.
H-E-L-M-U-T.
Yeah.
Probably.
I mean, probably.
Almost certainly.
I just remember it from the history books.
There's your new helmet.
It's a common German helmet.
Although Helmut Kohl is West Germany.
I have to explain everything to you.
Only when it's dumb.
Hey, Emmett out of New York here.
I got to say, you know, I think whenever you're mixing,
you know, red, black, and you're putting a bird on something,
it gets a little bit dicey.
But at the same time, you know,
while this might have been a little bit of an unforced error,
you know, the owner, as Charles mentioned, she's Jewish.
And the guy has kept hot dog prices
at Mercedes-Benz Stadium at like two bucks.
Beer's like five bucks.
It is?
It's that cheap there?
Two dollars?
Yeah, yeah.
He loves the fans.
They love him.
He seems like a great guy.
The city of Atlanta loves him.
I think you've got to cut him some slack.
Yeah, I'm telling you, I just don't.
Here's where I land on this.
If Arthur Blank doesn't have an issue with it,
then I'm not going to have an issue with it.
And it's fine.
Okay.
Coming up.
Meeting Jeffrey Epstein was the worst thing that ever happened to me.
It destroyed my reputation in many ways, undeservedly.
It's the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life.
And I look back and I say to myself,
maybe I should have anticipated something.
Maybe I should have been as smart as my wife.
I just wasn't.
Be right back.
Welcome back to TMZ Live. TMZ Studios is going
to be putting documentaries that we produce
on YouTube specifically for YouTube beginning today.
Um, our first monthly documentary is TMZ
Studios presents Jeffrey Epstein, the Devil's Rolodex.
And the idea behind this, this documentary
is that Jeffrey Epstein was a college dropout.
He had marginal social skills.
He was a ne'er-do-well when he started out
and yet somehow ended up in rooms,
in conversations, in meetings
with the most powerful people in the world.
Presidents, princes, titans of business
and often got them to open up their pockets
and give him money or have him manage their money.
And he and he and he rubbed elbows with them.
They had dinner parties. They went to speak.
They went to lectures. They did all sorts of things.
And, you know, some even went to the island.
Now, we talked with Alan Dershowitz,
a famed former Harvard professor who was as esteemed
as any professor was in the United States for a long, long time.
He essentially says that his association
with Jeffrey Epstein ruined his life.
And it all began when Jeffrey Epstein kind of seduced him into saying,
come to a birthday party and we have the president of Israel
and all these other famous people on this plane.
And Alan Dershowitz was like, why not?
And they ended up giving speeches together.
He says it's the worst thing that ever happened.
Meeting Jeffrey Epstein was the worst thing
that ever happened to me professionally and personally,
short of, you know, death and tragedy in my family.
It destroyed my reputation in many ways, undeservedly.
It's the worst thing that ever happened to me in my life.
And I look back and I say to myself,
maybe I should have anticipated something.
Maybe I should have been as smart as my wife.
I just wasn't.
By the way, what did Dershowitz mean by his wife?
He should have listened to his wife.
His wife, the minute she met him, she told,
yeah, the minute she met Epstein,
she told her husband, this guy is creepy, he's awful,
I don't, I feel like I need to wash my hands.
She's a psychologist, and he...
He definitely should have listened to her, like, she can read people.
Yeah, and she did.
She had nightmares about him.
Yeah.
Now, look, I think you put it perfectly
when you said that how did this guy, who was essentially nothing,
he grew up in New York, there was nothing really noticeable about him.
How did he end up sitting in rooms with presidents?
And since the DOJ has released these files,
people have been wondering what the story is.
And I think this documentary tells
that story perfectly from start to finish.
I mean, we sit down with people that knew Jeffrey Epstein,
from brushing shoulders with him to growing up
with him in the same neighborhood.
And there are stories in this documentary that have never
been told before that shed some serious light
on who Jeffrey Epstein actually was.
And how he did it. I mean, just the idea that he created this network.
Yeah, it's unbelievable that he was able to get all of these people
who are really smart and then somehow charmed all these people.
and doesn't seem like he was, at least at the outset,
growing up, was not necessarily described as a charming guy.
Not at all.
Right.
And yet, somehow, he turned that around.
And hearing the stories from the people
who actually were in contact with him
is very interesting and revealing.
It's available now on YouTube.
You should check it out.
It's called TMZ Studios Presents
Jeffrey Epstein, The Devil's Rolodex.
Rolodex. Tough time to be working
in the Trump administration as a press secretary or press
advisor in this case. Ask Katie Zachariah that question.
Katie Zachariah last week and this week
it is at the State Department and Britt McHenry,
a former sports reporter, may you know her from
ESPN, she is now the press advisor at the State Department.
She proudly announced this a few
weeks ago does anybody have government experience
well she's media experience anyway um she's new
on that job maybe you know when you're new
on the job you don't want to rock the boat you're just
trying to get in and settle in you don't want
a lot of attention on you well she's got a lot now
because Britt went to an NBA game last night
in DC went to see the Wizards uh playing who are they
playing the Bucks, the Bucks, playing the Bucks, I could have told you
and sure you could have and you see
gets into some sort of dispute with people
sitting next to her, throws a drink
at one of the
guys, and then walks out
blowing kisses to the crowd as they're all
booing her. Now, I don't
know that they're booing because
they know who she is and what
her job is. That's what I'm wondering. I mean...
Or are they booing because they saw
what was going on? Or throwing a drink or something?
So...
So what started all this?
Can I just ask, was she super high
profile on ESPN? Yeah, back in the
She was very popular.
Yeah, she was.
So what kicked off this whole thing,
what we're told from people close to Britt,
was that the people behind, the guys behind them,
were saying some inappropriate stuff about Kyle Kuzma's fiancée,
who's Winnie Harlow, the very famous supermodel.
Kyle Kuzma plays for the Bucks.
He plays for the Bucks, but he previously played for the Wizards,
so she might have some relationship with Kyle Kuzma and his fiancée.
So it had nothing to do with her job?
No, it had nothing to do with her job.
So they were making comments.
She found it inappropriate.
She turned around.
Then they, I think, did recognize who she was
and started making what were told misogynistic,
inappropriate comments to provoke her.
Basically, she gets into a back and forth
and then ends up, you see what...
By the way, she did come back to the seats eventually.
She went and got an usher.
And the usher comes back
and has some words with the guys that Britt was arguing with.
And Britt goes back to her seat.
It did not go any smoother.
There was still a lot of trash talking, apparently.
going on um you can see she's kind of rubbing
in everybody's face that she's back in the seats
but it got heated enough
that at some point she leaves now did she leave voluntarily or was she
asked so when you watch the video it almost seems like she's telling
the security guy what did i do
so it all it kind of seems like she's getting kicked out we're told
that she actually chose
to leave and that uh the guy she's
with right there we see he returns to his seat and finishes
is the game, we're told that he obviously stayed.
She chose to leave on her own accord.
So how long has she been on the job in the State Department?
What'd you say, two weeks?
That's good for her.
She's beaten both Zachariah and Scaramucci.
I don't know that anybody's talking
about her losing her job, but.
Not a good look.
Not a good look.
Coming up.
Three weeks after Krista Pike was supposed to be put
to death by lethal injection, she is back in prison
and improving somewhat finally with her health.
Although I don't know what the long-term prognosis is going to be here.
The long-term prognosis right now is execution.
Be right back.
Well, three weeks after Krista Pike was supposed
to be put to death by lethal injection,
she is back in prison and improving somewhat, finally, with her health.
You know that she was hospitalized
for several days before she was released
because you know the botched execution
the botched injection injections injections uh really messed
up her arm she had issues there she
was also having trouble speaking um in complete sentences
but we found out this morning um that there's
been improvement in that sense although i don't
know how what the long-term well i mean prognosis
is the long-term prognosis right now is execution
I mean, it's such an odd thing.
It's like, we want to bring her back to health so we can kill her.
Well, her team is actually fighting for her to stay just
in prison for the rest of her life.
They're fighting to not have her be on the death penalty anymore
because of the trauma that she experienced
going through two lethal injections.
But they said she is actually now speaking complete sentences.
Yeah, complete sentences.
She's able to walk on her own.
However, her cognitive ability and her memory is still being monitored,
So it's unclear if she's even able to remember the execution itself.
That's something that she is still kind of being evaluated,
but she's able to talk.
She's able to walk.
It's pretty insane.
The big deal right now is, will either the Supreme Court of Tennessee
or the U.S. Supreme Court rule that lethal injection in Tennessee
is cruel and unusual punishment under the Eighth Amendment?
Because she wasn't the first.
There was a botched one four months before.
And so my sense of this is the U.S. Supreme Court will not say that.
I don't know what the state of Tennessee Supreme Court would do.
I would assume they're more conservative as well.
Yeah, they're now paused, actually, for the rest of the year.
That's based on the governor.
The governor said that, but the year is going to be over pretty soon.
And so I just don't know the courts
are going to say this is cruel and unusual.
Coming up, NBA star LaMelo Ball was doing
a little post-game interview with Ernie Johnson.
He has a new baby at home, so Ernie asked him about diaper duty.
LaMelo's answer here about
who's taking care of the baby is a little antiquated.
I definitely did it before.
It's just not my job, you know what I'm saying? It's not my job.
Be right back.
NBA star LaMelo Ball was doing a little post-game interview
with Ernie Johnson over on TNT.
Or sorry, ESPN now, not on TNT anymore.
And was talking about he has a new baby at home.
And so Ernie asked him about diaper duty and things like that.
And names.
His, well, we'll get to the name, which is a whole other thing.
But some fans think that LaMelo's answer here about
who's taking care of the baby is a little antiquated.
You're a dad now, a 10-month-old son, right?
Yeah, he just turned nine months.
Nine months.
So are you a diaper changer, man?
Nah, my girl do all that.
So, it's love for sure.
She do all the, you know what I'm saying?
We got a good game plan going on.
So, I know what I got to do to bring to the table.
She know what she got to do to bring to the table.
Man, you don't know what you're missing.
I'm telling you that.
I hope you have a great day.
Nah, I done did it before.
You feel me?
Okay.
No, I got you.
Yeah, I definitely did it before.
It's just not my job.
You know what I'm saying?
It's not my job.
It's not my job.
But wait a minute.
But what he did say in defense.
That's their arrangement.
They made an arrangement.
Right.
And that shouldn't be, why would anybody say, oh, you can't do that?
I guess people want to hear his girl actually co-sign on that.
But if he's, I believe him.
And he said he's done it.
He said he's done it, and he said that they have
an arrangement, and why should people
get pissed off at that?
The bigger issue is the name of the child,
which Ernie didn't get into, but the baby's
name is Lawan.
One ball.
Lawan.
Lawan Ball.
This poor kid.
How was it spelled, Mike?
is it l-i-l-a-o-n-e la one ball i mean this is when
they have like an attendance call at school
i don't know i mean how is this kid gonna get there's
no way they didn't think of that there's
no way they didn't think of that you should take mom's last
By the way, what's her name? Oh, she got
Well, she goes by Anna Montana. I don't know, maybe it's
been legally changed, Anna Montana, and one
ball law one Julia Jasunis Los Angeles, um I mean
his girlfriend had two babies one that she birthed
and the other that's six seven, you know I mean like he doesn't know how
to change diapers of
course he doesn't because he said he's done it, you know oh gosh come
on I mean he said he's done
it and he said it's their arrangement right
he's probably I don't know I guess he's used to
cleaning, you know, he's used to someone else cleaning up his
messes. I mean, that's his entire defensive
strategy anyway, you know. Wow.
When he is playing
defense, that is. That was good.
Coming up. Paul Rudd went to the scene of the
crime. The crime of the week. There was no crime.
The crime of the week. There was no crime, but yes.
Clearly, Paul Rudd has seen
Kelly Clarkson's least favorite
store in all of Brooklyn. Be right
back. Paul Rudd went
to the scene
of the crime. The crime of the week. There was no
crime. The crime of the week. There was no crime,
But yes, clearly Paul Rudd has seen Kelly Clarkson's
least favorite store in all of Brooklyn, Art of Play,
and all the attention that it got when she went in there
and wanted to buy the $15,000 bird on the wall.
And so she got snubbed.
And now they've upped the price to $15 million.
That did not scare away Paul Rudd,
who went to go see what all the fuss was about.
I don't know if he actually went into the store.
But he's looking.
He's probably looking at the bird.
This store owes a lot to Kelly Clarkson.
To Kelly Clarkson's temperament.
To Kelly Clarkson's temperament.
Actually putting them way more on the map.
I know it was already popular locally, but now, come on.
It's like, honestly.
They couldn't pay for this kind of advertising.
Kelly Clarkson thinks she gave them the bird.
Ha!
Hmm.
Ha!
We'll see you tomorrow.
