How does Britney Spears' sister Jamie Lynn
really feel about Britney's latest takedown?
An insider spoke exclusively
with Page Six about the social media blowup.
Just hours ago, the pop star shared this scathing statement
with her 41.8 million Instagram followers.
I will find a new family.
Jamie Lynn never let me hold Ivy one time when I would visit
in Louisiana during COVID in two-week trips.
And Kevin wouldn't let me use
the bathroom when I would pick my children up in their house.
However, the former Zoey 101 child star
is brushing off the sibling rivalry.
An insider exclusively shared with Page Six that Jamie
and her husband, Jamie Watson,
aren't really concerned about the post,
mostly because it doesn't ring true for them, saying,
Britney held Ivy and Ivy loves her.
Ivy is the couple's eight-year-old daughter.
Jamie Lynn also has a 17-year-old, Maddie,
with her ex-fiancé, Casey Aldridge.
She got pregnant at 16
and stepped away from Hollywood for several years.
Britney's post also took aim at her dad, Jamie,
who oversaw her 13-year conservatorship, which
ended in 2021 amid the Free Britney movement,
as well as her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
And just like their brief reality show in 2005,
the situation is getting chaotic.
Here's what we reported last week.
Kevin Federline is facing a hefty credit card bill after
his child support payments from Britney
Spears came to an end. The former backup dancer
is being sued over more than $117,000 in alleged debt
owed to Citi National Bank.
According to court documents obtained by Page Six, Federline,
who is 48, owes the bank a total
of at least $117,704 across a credit card,
a personal line of credit, and an overdraft line.
Interestingly, Federline signed the agreement
with the bank in late November 2024,
around the same time Spears' final child
support payment reportedly hit his account.
As previously reported,
Federline initially received $40,000 a month in child support
while raising the former couple's two sons,
Sean Preston and Jaden James, in Hawaii.
Those payments were later reduced to $20,000
a month after Sean Preston turned 18.
It continued until Jaden graduated from high school.
In his memoir, You Thought You Knew,
Federline defended the expenses, claiming the money went
towards security and maintaining the standard
of living his sons were accustomed to with their
famous mom. He wrote that those costs easily ran well over $40,000
a month, adding that the money
was gone almost as soon as it came in.
Now the bank is looking to collect. The lawsuit claims
Federline had until August 2026 to pay off his credit card debt.
His personal line of credit
Credit was due in June 2025.
While his overdraft line was due even earlier, April of that year.
On top of the outstanding balances,
the bank is also seeking unpaid interest with rates
reaching 20.5% on the credit card,
7.5% on the line of credit, and 18% on the overdraft line.
Federline and Spears met in early 2004, got engaged that July,
and married in California that September.
Spears filed for divorce in November 2006,
and their split was finalized the following year.
K-Fed has since moved on with Victoria Prince, whom he married in 2013.
