Thomas Markle's digital devices to be examined amid child porn probe: report

Thomas Markle Sr.'s digital devices will reportedly be examined by Philippines police as the 82-year-old is investigated for allegedly possessing child pornography. The BBC revealed that Cebu cops have obtained a search warrant to search the items seized from Meghan Markle's father's home. Thomas' son, Thomas Markle Jr., reported his dad to officials after allegedly finding, quote, hundreds if not thousands of images of child porn in several boxes. Thomas Jr., who was, quote, horrified and, quote, sick to his stomach, turned the alleged images over to local police in July after discovering them among family mementos, he told the U.S. Sun. Thomas Sr., however, denied the allegations against him, referring to them as, quote, sick lies in an interview with the Daily Mail. His daughter, Samantha, has also defended her father, claiming Thomas Jr. made up the claims as revenge for being cut off financially. Meghan, meanwhile, released a statement about how deeply distressed she is by the disturbing allegations. The Suits alum has since jetted out of the U.K. with her husband Prince Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield clarified to Page Six that the family trip appears to be Meghan and Harry taking advantage of their children's October half-term break.
