Here's To You: Class Act

Do we? What you love is never work. The Class Act dancers know that to be true. Estelle Flory Carter founded Class Act in 1986. Her idea was to gather women from age 55 and better who love tap dancing. They didn't need to know how to tap. They just needed to have the passion to learn, rehearse, and perform. They've danced for North Texas seniors in retirement homes, veterans centers, children in hospitals, and for the general public in places like Dallas Love Field. Yours truly has not danced with them, but I covered them at many performances throughout the years. Here's to you, Estelle Florey Carter, for founding Class Act, which has brought so much joy to North Texans in the last 40 years. Class Act has given 3,555 performances. They have two performances this month, and we will see them with their toy soldier routine in the Dallas Holiday Parade. Ladies, keep on tapping. Here's to you's featured hundreds of volunteers, we thank you, let's keep it going. Send photos and videos of volunteers in action. Clarice Tinsley at Fox.com. Fox 4 is here with you.
