Keitenn Bristow's role for Alabama basketball
Nov 2, 2026
After kind of the way last season ended for Keaton,
How have you seen him get ready for the season?
Kind of what do you see his role being for the team this year?
You know what, first off, last spring, Clark really tried to make sure
that he got his body every, you know,
whatever was wrong, you know,
fully healed in the gym.
Clark every day was entering the weight room.
I feel like he's pretty healthy.
I mean, everybody's going to have.
Minor bruises here and there from practice and games,
but he's as healthy as he's been.
His body's bigger, stronger.
You know, we've concentrated on getting some weight on him.
I think he's getting more comfortable kind of playing.
He's more skilled, too.
He's spent a lot of time in the gym.
He should have been better.
You know, I think maybe some of the preseason exhibition games,
he may have lost a little bit of that.
What actually makes him great, you know, playing hard and all that,
because maybe he's getting used to a little bit different role.
I think he'll shoot a little bit more.
I think he's handling it better.
He's attacking pull-ups better.
He's doing a lot of stuff better.
But what still makes him great is how hard he plays.
Once he goes to the boards, all the defensive plays he can make,
he can switch and he can guard one through five.
So I think he's back to that.
He's looked like it in practice.
I'm super excited to get him started here playing
a good amount of minutes here tomorrow.
