James Kaufman will news report today. Geomagnetic storm via solar winds expected on September 22, 2025. Wow! 22nd of the month is going to be one crazy day. On top of everything else happening in the world, NOAA has just announced that Earth will take a direct hit from solar winds released by an Earth-facing coronal hole shown here. They have just forecasted that they are expecting the solar winds to cause a geomagnetic storm on that day, September 22nd. It will be a day to remember for us earthlings. NOAA is expecting SIR or co-rotating interaction region winds to hit earth on September 22nd. If so, it would be perfect timing. September 22nd is the northern autumnal equinox, in other words, autumn, and a major Jewish holiday. And we have a very dangerous planetary alignment to deal with. Thanks to the Russell-McFerrin effect, even small geomagnetic disturbances in the solar weather can spark equinox geomagnetic storms.
