Welcome back. We have new information regarding
these mysterious pro-trans mailers dispatched to
millions of Texas homes over the past few weeks
and just prior to the critical midterm election.
Originating from an LLC based in Wyoming,
the flyers were addressed to students offering
services and advice and reviewed by some parents
as an attempt to lobby their children. In the
meantime, news organizations have
been scrambling to track down the source of
What appeared to be a highly political play.
Panel this week, a powerful clue emerged connected
to a pair of very familiar names.
Bill, you want to help us out?
Yeah, so they've tracked this down to a mail house,
I believe it was in Chicago,
owned by a family named Zarrison in Dallas.
The Zarrisons are huge Republican supporters.
There's a picture of Paxton
and Zarrison on a private jet traveling together.
Thank you, Heather.
And so the group that actually, the actual transgender group,
that by the way has not been active since 2017,
filed a lawsuit in Austin trying to get this information.
And from that, we found out a couple of things.
One is that it was,
the mail was tracked by a Republican operative just outside of D.C.
But the most interesting thing
is a lawyer named Hilton showed up representing
The Wyoming LLC trying to block the disclosure of the information.
Guess who Hilton is?
He was on the Paxton defense team for the impeachment
and regularly represents Elon Musk businesses.
All right, Chris.
I suspect Chris has something to say here.
Yeah, I mean, look, this.
You knew the minute this came out
that this was a political play by somebody
and it wasn't a Democratic group that did it.
I knew the second this hit the news what this was.
And then to hire somebody who handles criminal defense matters
as your spokesperson tells you exactly what
these guys know that they did.
You've got something coming out of Wyoming, so you've got mail fraud.
You've got all kinds of issues that these guys should
be investigated for and probably
are being investigated for.
They need a criminal defense attorney
because they're going to get indicted.
Last week, Charles talked about the efficacy of this move.
He didn't think it was going to change many votes.
And now they've kind of got, you know, they kind of got caught.
Yeah, I think that'll change more votes than the actual mail-in.
fraud
I mean, I think the thing is that from the folks that I knew
who received this, it was
kind of just very transparent that this was,
I'm sure some people were fooled by it and
did think that it was, you know, this, I think,
trans student alliance or whatever it was
trying to mail their kids.
But it was very transparently, like, unintentionally transparently.
It's false, it was a blatant lie
when you looked into it because why would the people
be getting it, these are hard Republicans
who are receiving it at their homes with young
children and it just read very on the nose
that this is a play to get Republicans upset.
And so while I do think some folks probably
read it and then got frustrated and may go
vote Republican because of it,
I think others were just a little more frustrated that this
scam or ploy was being played and that they were receiving it.
Yeah, a note to Republicans,
next time you try or considering a wild-ass grift like this,
maybe you ought to call Bob Price and let him straighten you out.
We'll be right back.
That's a pretty silly thing,
but it's not as bad as what happened in Alaska,
where the Democrat candidate for the Senate there goes out
and recruits some guy,
an unheard-of guy from the remote parts of Alaska
with the same name as the Republican incumbent,
And he even filed...
Using a fake middle initial to match the incumbent's name exactly.
They made him change his middle initial back
to his real middle initial.
But now it's come out.
The Wall Street Journal did a report that showed
that that was actually done by the campaign of the Democrat.
It's actually the New York Times, which makes it even more,
you know, which makes it more effective.
But, you know, so wait a minute.
I want to make sure y'all are telling me.
You're saying that both political parties will
cheat any way they can to win an election?
Yeah.
I am shocked.
I'm just, I'm breath, I mean, really, oh my God,
to go out and find somebody with that
name to run in that election.
And on that day while they are in the general, yeah, that'll work.
Thank you very much.
By the way, the Republicans did this in Alaska in the last election.
I know that.
Look, this is not illegal.
What the mailer was is a crime.
Yeah, that's a crime.
I'm not sure what happened in Alaska is not illegal
because if they paid him to do it, that would make it illegal.
Well, right, if they paid him to do it.
Look, I actually live there,
and Harris County has a whole lot more people than live in.
The whole state of Alaska.
All right, up next, the long game shining a bright light
on efforts to tear down Texas public education as we know it.
