Bieniemy candid in regards to last week's loss to the Seattle Seahawks

The grittier team, the hungrier team won. When it's all said and done, they are the defending champs for a reason. They were going through a rut. They came out there and executed their defense better than we executed our offense. They played hungrier. They did all the little things the right way. We didn't. So that's a lesson to be learned, and those are part of the things that you learn throughout the course of the season, especially when you're dealing with a bunch of young men that really hasn't had an opportunity to experience stuff like that. But you utilize that. You take the lessons learned from it, and you turn it into a positive. Josh Simmons asked to leave a meeting and all that kind of stuff. Was that sort of a distraction for you guys at all this past week? I know Coach Reed has already addressed it, and we're going to leave that comment at that comment and whatever he said. But when it's all said and done, we eliminate all distractions. Uh... We don't allow anything to distract us from accomplishing the goals that we want to accomplish. When it's all said and done with, the better team won. That had absolutely nothing to do with what took place. In fact, I was talking to someone, and I said I wanted to come in here with a sign that just read, we got our ass kicked. All right. So anytime you ask me a question about that, just refer to that sign. We got our asses kicked. So that had absolutely nothing to do with anything that took place on the field. We got to coach better, and our guys got to play better.
