"I feel great about it" Self on Melvin Council and Tre White returning

We've got two guys back that I don't know you guys know better than me, Gary, but averaged 13-7 and 13-2 last year, something like that. One of them was a Big 12 Newcomer of the Year, and the other one was one of the best 10 newcomers in our league. So I feel great about it. During the summer league process, I was talking to my agents. We were trying to get a lawyer to figure out, and that's when NCAA was saying these rules, and my agents and my lawyers thought we had a good shot. Just the opportunity to do it again, to learn over. For one, I didn't like the way that we lost last year. That saddled me all summer. But to be able to learn, come back, be a better leader, a better player, a better defender, a better athlete, a better student, just everything to do it the right way and win even more, I feel like it was a no-brainer for me. I think sometimes we forget how good we have it in college until we get out in the real world and the nature in which we're going into the real world and seeing how competitive that is and seeing how doing really well you think in the real world doesn't translate to a roster spot i think there's some things about that that that bring uh an eye-opening maturity that if i'm going to get to where i want to go there's still some things i gotta i gotta do and get better at and i think both those guys have that which is great which is great for us get another year what do you want to do with it win a chip for sure definitely win a national championship come with that energy i feel like have the pieces to do it and show my improvements as well personally so i feel like we can mix both of those together it'll be super nice i went to Wagner we only had like one side of crowds hey bottom of the troop one side allen you have two baskets with fans like that just excite me the whole arena just it's just it's crazy and then fans start barking and that that that that's a dope moment right there i can't wait for that moment again
