New Picture! No Tail Or Visible Gassing! Comet Atlas Had Non Gravitational Change Of Course & Speed!

James Kaufman, World News Report Today. You're looking at, well, one reportedly captured photo by the Arnaves Observatory in Burgur, Spain from yesterday, November 5th, 2025. If this is a real image, what are we looking at? And what are these other items? Very, very strange. Interstellar object 3I Atlas has changed course due to non-gravitational acceleration, likely caused by losing a significant amount of mass as it passed close to the sun. This outgassing of volatile ices from its surface acted like a thruster, slightly altering its path. Recent observations indicate the acceleration has weakened since its closest approach to the sun, but remains noticeable and not explained by solar gravity alone. Recent observations show 3I Atlas has shifted its trajectory slightly in a process called non-gravitational acceleration. The change is likely caused by outgassing of volatile ices and gases just similar to how a rocket engine works, pushing the object off its expected gravitational path. For this acceleration to have occurred, scientists estimate the comet may have lost as much as 13 percent of its mass during its close approach to the sun. The acceleration has weakened since the object's Perihelion, the closest approach to our sun. But it's still being closely watched. James Webb Space Telescope will be used to look for the large cloud of gas and or dust that would have been released during this event. Thus far, nothing has been seen as far as outgassing.
