Welcome back, you know a lot of people decorate
their homes for Christmas but not so many for
Halloween, right? But we found one house in St. Pete
that you just have to see and hear. Photo
journalist Cody Berkowitz takes us
to the Halloween house light
show. We have approximately
eight thousand four hundred and sixty-four
464 lights
This is my first year doing it.
I really enjoy playing with with lights, it's something I've
always you know I had a background in stage
and and stage lighting and that's been a lot of fun but
to be honest with you, seeing the reaction from the people that come
and watch the show or watching
the little kids like bouncing up and down
and and dancing that's probably been my my greatest joy
through this whole thing. Having a hobby where it's just
not plug and play you actually have to like
massage it and play with it and troubleshoot it
and you know from everything from the
software to the hardware to the lights to the sequencing.
When you can bring the challenge
to lights and music and you know something
that you can not just show your family but to show
other people, your neighbors, your friends.
The joy about being in this neighborhood
where there's a lot of families, a lot of kids,
just being able to give them something that's
Inexpensive, free, pretty much,
where they can just take a walk and see a light show
brings joy.
I can only grow, and it's just a whole lot of fun,
and being able to share that with
other people, that's the best part.
How cool is that? Now tomorrow will
be the final light show for the season.
It'll be an extended version, we're told. It gets started at 7:45.
That address is 6072 24th Avenue North in St. Pete.
And the owner says he has something planned for Christmas as well.
