Luka vs. Yaxel: Backing Up the Talk

Tonight in San Francisco, Lakers star Luka Doncic gets his rematch with the Warriors' Jaxson Lindaberg. The rematch tonight should be good, especially when you consider Luka's history of responding when he feels insulted by a player, by a fan, really by anyone who decides to start yapping at him. So by all rights, Yaxel should be the nervous one tonight. Except I'm not so sure that he is, and I kind of love it. Looking forward to the Lakers game on Friday? Absolutely. Absolutely. Yes. Yes, I am. You know, I'll talk more about that on Friday. All right. Tonight, he'll find out just how far that swag can stretch. There's a small chance Luka doesn't play. He's listed as day-to-day after the Lakers held him out the other night with a tight back. But the team said that was just precautionary. And I don't expect Luka to back down from a challenge like this by just sitting on the bench. What I do expect is for him to score a lot. We'll just have to see how much of it is scoring on Yaxel.
