I think we might actually already have
another person joining us here on Fox 6 Now
who has been in the midst of just all of the chaos,
all of the fun this morning, Brian Cramp.
Brian, what is it like there at the Summerfest Grounds?
I feel like there's still lots of fans.
Man.
Oh, there's a lot to see, and I got to be honest with you,
Haley, you know, I'm sitting here at the bar,
you know, probably close to the end of my shift,
and I go to the real brew crew, and I go to these guys thinking,
hey, maybe I can get some relief, you know, go to the bullpen,
call in, call in some help, and no, guys, what happened?
What's going on? Give me the real situation with the beer.
So the real situation of the beer is we kept running out,
so we kept having to run over to the beer coolers,
get restocked, restocked over and over again.
Alright, I'll buy that. I can't complain,
but you know, coincidentally enough, over here at BMO,
the Euchre documentary, just a bit outside, is playing,
so you guys might have been just a bit outside with the amount of beer
that was needed for the festivities today. I'm not going to complain,
though, because we're all here having a great time.
Let's do the math on the beer.
This is something that I don't know has been done yet.
But you guys were talking about
the amount of pallets of beer you got in.
The total amount of pallets was what?
So the total amount of pallets we got in was seven.
Seven pallets here, and how many bars are there?
This right here is fifth grade math if you're keeping up.
Seven pallets of beer here. How many bars total?
30.
That's 210, right guys? That's 210 pallets of beer.
Not including the amphitheater.
Not including the amphitheater.
We're leaving the amphitheater out of the equation.
Okay, so we're at 210 pallets of beer without the amphitheater, about.
And how many cases of beer per pallet?
About 49.
So let's just round it up to 50 to be fair.
So if you're doing the math on that,
210 pallets, multiply that by 250.
Yeah, so we're about 250,000 cans of beer.
250,000 cans of beer.
Ever in the history of Milwaukee.
Do you think that that much beer has
been consumed before 2 o'clock in the afternoon?
No, I don't believe so.
The answer was no.
There's no possible way that that could be the case.
So, guys, if you're doing the math for the next year,
for the championship rally,
if we were to do this again in 2027...
I think we have to plan accordingly.
I believe so, too.
I think we need to have at least 300 to 500 cases of beer on,
like, thousands of cases on hand.
Thousands more.
I love that you have the entire team still here.
People kept on coming to you asking about beer,
but it was really so much more than just that.
What was the vibe like back here
for you guys seeing the crowd, hearing...
What was going up on stage across the way
at the American Family Amphitheater,
knowing that you're still cheering on and still serving all the guests?
Oh, it was just ecstatic and insane.
I mean, we were just out here supporting
the brewers and saying, hey, let's go,
and then they called up Irish Fest, and we came out and said, hey.
Wait a second, this is the Irish Fest crew?
Yes.
No wonder you're wearing it.
We have two bars staffed by Irish Fest volunteers,
one here and one on the north side of the grounds.
Now I know why you're so happy.
This is what we do.
This is exactly why you were called in.
The brew crew literally went to the bullpen and said,
Irish Fest, we need you.
Where was German Fest?
Or Polish Fest?
I'm sure they're down here somewhere.
They're down here as well?
Wow, that makes this feel, I'm Irish?
I feel like our team has really come through in the clutch.
Way to go, guys.
If you had to say anything about the experience from day one,
knowing that the Brewers were in the World Series, the Game 5,
the ending of that game to today,
what would you say about this entire experience as a fan?
As a fan, it's been unreal.
It's just been crazy.
Once in a lifetime.
So once in a lifetime experience, for sure.
Yeah.
What about you guys?
Because you've been sitting back here with that experience
and knowing that this has finally happened.
Go ahead.
It was crazy.
I went to AmFam Field.
You can still hear my voice is messed up from that.
I was there for game five with my brother.
I was just, like he said, ecstatic.
Like, once in a lifetime because you only win the first one time.
So it was amazing to be there.
What about you?
It's been awesome. We went to game one,
and me and my dad flew down to game four.
It's just been incredible to see and be a part of.
I've been dreaming of this day forever.
Never.
