Michael Switzer on Right Side of OL

I know people pay a lot of attention to that left side with John and Cody, but that right side, Champ is still a real young guy. How has he grown compared to the first game, and how is Drew playing? Very similarly, I think Champ has progressed from week one to now, very much so. Obviously, we took some reps off of him throughout this season earlier on with Garen, and I think that's helped him as well. But I think he's picking it up. I think he's improving. Uh, and he's doing a nice job in terms of, uh, you know, being in a better position, I'd say mentally overall, uh, in terms of understanding all the things and the details of the game and all that. Drew's been really consistent. Uh, Drew's been really consistent at the right tackle position. Um, I think that he has improved greatly in his pass protection, especially after last year. The improvement there has been really clear, and he's doing some nice things in the run game as well. But one of our most consistent guys, and he's playing some good football. With his size, I've got to imagine the NFL scouts are asking you everything about him. What do they see in him? Yeah, a lot of communication in terms of those guys coming out to practice and asking about Drew, his athleticism. His ability to, with his length, protect is obviously at a premium in terms of the NFL. So I think a lot of those teams are excited about a lot of the attributes that he does have.
