SNAP Fraud Runs Rampant Across The United States! Overhaul Time!

James Kaufman, World News Report, today. SNAP fraud is rampant across the United States. Overhaul time. If there was any good that came from the government shutdown, it was the exposing of all the fraud being committed to exploit the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, not to mention all the other welfare programs that are being abused. Sure, we have millions of Americans who need a safety net, Food insecurity in these terrible financial times, but more so, we have millions either completely gaming the system, receiving ridiculous amounts of government subsidies and welfare, including SNAP benefits and even free housing benefits, known as Section 8s. Well, it turns out many of these people don't qualify for any of these programs or receiving way too many benefits. Of course, that lands on the backs of hard-working Americans who are forced to pay because of government incompetence. It's time for everyone to reapply from the go for these benefits as these programs are bloated and need to be fixed or closed down altogether. Let's listen to Secretary Brooke Rollins, and remember, this is all her fault. She's been secretary since before the shutdown. Our Secretary of Agriculture, who oversees the SNAP program, immeasurably failed us, but now wants to hopefully fix the situation. And 20 other, you know, 20 plus others did not. And we're suing. We're in the litigation right now. But of the 29 that complied, what we have found is staggering. Half a million people getting benefits two times under the same name, 5,000 dead people, 80% of the able-bodied Americans, meaning they can work. They don't have small children at home. They're not taking Taking care of an elderly parent. They can work and they choose not to work, of course, because they're getting significant benefits from the taxpayer. So this light, Laura, that has now been shined on what is perhaps one of the most corrupt, dysfunctional programs in American history that we are working now for very big announcements coming next week on this. We are cracking down. We now have a plan to fix it. And and we're really, really excited about doing that for the American people. So this has been going on. For many years. And the question is, Secretary Rollins, why haven't you done a damn thing about it? Let me say, all the people that, well, shoved their benefits in front of Americans' faces, they can thank themselves for the reapplication they're about to go through and the reduced benefits that I'm sure 99.9% of them will see. So thank those people that have three buggies full of groceries. They're receiving $10,000, $15,000 a month in SNAP benefits, and to incentivize it based on how many children you have with several babies' daddies who don't pay child support? Well, there you go.
