Following breaking news here at 11 out of Brighton,
police on the scene of an officer involved shooting right now.
Boston 25's Ryan Breslin is live at the scene.
We have that big area behind you that is roped off and police
are expected to give an update here likely within the next hour.
Kale, that's right. And in the last five minutes,
we did see Boston police.
They took down the crime scene tape here on the road, Selkirk Road.
That's where they have
been investigating all morning since just about 7:30.
Now, I spoke to one woman
who did say that she heard at least one gunshot. But other than that,
we have not heard many or we have not gotten much information.
From police, I do want to show you,
you can see that a door is open at the home here at 24 Selkirk,
and that's where investigators have been going in and out.
I also want to show you some video from this morning as well,
where investigators were going in and out of the building.
I've seen a canine walking along the fence line.
We also have evidence markers here
and police responding just before 730 itself.
I do also want to bring in a neighbor
who lives on the road right across the street
and tell me, you didn't hear a gunshot,
but you did wake up to police responding here.
Yeah, I woke up around 730 to a pretty heavy police presence.
They were using the K9, sniffing
up against the fence and on the porch.
And then there was an ambulance as well around like 7:35, 7:40.
All right. And once again, we are waiting to hear from Boston police.
They should be giving an update in just about 90 minutes.
