LP conversion on Coleman furnace

Okay guys right now I'm in my shop and we are fixing to convert a Coleman mobile home furnace from natural gas to LP. You can see right here it says equipped for natural gas. Something I wanted to show you about this is if you've worked on mobile homes most of the doors don't have filters in them and people have to rig something up to make them work. That one comes fitted with a filter rack. All right guys forgive me I was getting a phone call so we're gonna go ahead and convert this. The first thing we got to do is take the gas valve off and you can see there's some Allen bolts right here. We got to unscrew those and we got to unscrew those and gas valve comes right off. It's got an o-ring in here that you got to be careful not to lose. And there's our gas valve. There's the o-ring I was talking about. All right first thing we got to do This right here on these gas valves has to be taken off and flipped over. Going down, it's for natural gas. You flip it over, it makes it propane. And we're also going to have to change out an orifice. And these furnaces come with the right orifice for natural gas. We also ship it with the one for LP. We've got to pull this out and change the oil. Let's go. And here is our oil. They just need to snug these up, not too tight. All right, that's how you do an LP conversion kit on a Coleman mobile home furnace.
