And with Election Day just days away,
Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson
is making a final push to get voters to the polls.
Fox News' Deidre Dukes is in Walton County tonight,
where Governor Kemp joined Jackson on the campaign trail.
Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Jackson making a three-city
swing across North Georgia, urging supporters to get out and vote.
I just want to let you know that...
If you get me elected, I'll work tirelessly.
I have nothing left to prove in my life.
I don't need anybody's money.
I don't owe anybody anything.
But I have a lot left to give.
The tour comes as candidates make
their final push ahead of Election Day,
working to turn campaign support into votes.
And my charge to you?
I'm charging myself with this.
Everybody over there that's on the caravan as we go
from here to Winder to Gainesville tonight,
we've got to make sure we are working.
Just, if you can, get five people, ten people,
twenty people, make sure they go vote.
Your family, your friends, people you're working with.
Governor Brian Kemp joined Jackson
on the campaign trail Thursday, starting the day
with a rally in Monroe.
Speakers reminded the crowd that Kemp defeated Stacey Abrams
by just over 54,000 votes in 2018,
saying every vote counts in tight statewide races.
Their message to supporters, if you like the direction Georgia
is headed, vote Republican up and down the ballot.
They urged voters to cast their ballots early and bring family
and friends to the polls to help boost Republican turnout.
U.S. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer told the crowd
the stakes in this election have never been higher.
You're going to turn out the vote on Tuesday.
Jackson also scheduled to make
a campaign stop in Winder this afternoon.
He will close the day out with a campaign rally in Gainesville.
