Low Voltage Short Traced to Contactor.
All right we
got nothing
working. Well
I can hear the
transformer
but um we may
not have
24 volts.
See if it's got
a fuse. I
think it does.
Yep it's blown.
So we got
to figure
out what's
blowing the
fuse
from
outside.
There's
lots
of
sparks
that
tripped
it
right
outside.
I
can't
figure
out
why
it's tripping.
Jumped to yellow.
It was blowing a fuse.
So let's see
if we can't figure out
Wow, that is...
I think it was our contactor.
All right,
let's
change the
contactor.
Power's off.
Do I have
anything
on bottom?
Yeah, I got
one black
one on
bottom. I
have left
my long
quarter
inch nut
driver
somewhere.
I gotta
be
careful.
There's
a looks
like
black
widow's
nest down
there.
Got us a
two pole
24 volt
coil.
That's
what we
need.
Black
goes
on the
left,
orange
and red
on the
right.
I'm
still
going to do
one wire
at a time.
And this
black one
goes down
here on the
bottom.
I'm not sure if this
is an active black
widow, but those
are definitely
black widow egg
balls down there.
I just
hooked
up, made
me a
wire
nut for
common
here,
which
are
staying
pulled
in.
Alright,
we
have
heat.
