Defrost Board Diagnosing, and Replacement.

All right guys, we're coming out to this one and as you can see it is freezing up so it's not going into defrost. We're about to check and see why. First let's check to see if it's getting 24 volts. Look without 24 volts. See that but it's getting 24 volts. Speeding up and going into defrost. Look to see if that sensor is in place where it's supposed to be. You can look down here it's a defrost sensor or thermostat that is not Replaceable, you have to replace the whole board. Can't see it. Can't see it, so I'm going to move this. Move this little box here and see if I can see if that sensor is in place. As you can see, it is in place and should be sensing that it's frozen. So I'm going to get this guy a new defrost control board. All right, we're back and we're fixing to replace this defrost control board. Power's off. High tech way of testing. I hope I didn't just blow a fuse. Disgust with him. about this contactor. deal with that in a second. just need some water to go ahead and haul it out good. not gonna film all that. that was a success.
