Eight months before federal agents knocked on Ilhan Omar's door,
Homeland Security just
quietly sent a memo to the State Department.
And that memo just leaked. Oops. Yeah,
it wasn't a birthday card. It wasn't a thinking of you.
It was a request for every passport
application she has ever filed. Not one. Everyone.
That's right, guys. Plus, anything that names her
parents. Nothing says routine paperwork quite like
the federal government asking for your entire
life story in triplicate.
Yes, two federal crimes, and one little line at the bottom,
she may be amenable to civil denaturalization.
Wow, may be amenable to civil denaturalization.
Now, translation guys, the government wants its citizenship back,
kind of like a library book,
except the library is saying that the book may never have
been checked out properly in the first
place. So here's the brain melter for today.
How do you take something back that she may never have
actually had. Meanwhile, she's still in Congress,
still voting, still getting paid, totally normal.
George Santos got thrown out of the House.
The man invented a volleyball career. Congress said,
absolutely not, sir. The integrity of the building is at stake.
Fake volleyball, gone.
Alleged fake birthday?
Let's go ahead and form a committee and circle back after lunch. Oh,
and Ilhan Omar, she went on TV
and she said that her family is barely getting by on $174,000 a
year salary from Congress
then somebody reportedly wrote her husband an 11 million dollar check i
yeah okay barely getting by poor thing i'm barely getting
by and the only check i got this month was
from my bank for overdraft fees
then of course there's AJ Kern in Minnesota oh yes AJ Kern in
Minnesota guys now for years they called her crazy
for asking one question about Ilhan Omar's birthday
But now DHS is asking the exact same question with a search warrant.
It's funny how conspiracy
theory turns into ongoing federal investigation
when the guys in the windbreaker show up with
the yellow letters on the back of the jackets.
Well, today we're going to go ahead and cover
it all. The memo, the raid,
her father's Somali army story, the math in her own book,
which apparently needs a calculator and a lawyer.
And let's not forget about the birthday that
changed overnight the check
and the big one why is she still sitting in that chair the media gave
you a headline we're going to go ahead
and give you the receipts guys including what is actually
confirmed and what is still alleged now real quick if you
or somebody you love is on Medicare turning
65 years old chapter guys check them out it's
totally free you have nothing to lose and everything
to gain and you've been thinking about it go
ahead make it happen phone number is down below
in the description 909-563-8279 they're saving
the average senior about 1100 bucks a year and
there's no sales pitch or any of that crap.
Just give my friends a call at chapter and tell them
that your friend Ron says hello.
Now, if you're new here, guys, go ahead and hit subscribe. It's
totally free. It's legal and nobody's ever going
to ask for your passport application. If you
happen to like the show, just show me by hitting the like button.
Appreciate it. All right. Picture
this, right? February 9th, a quiet,
rather quiet office at the Homeland Security Investigations
Palace. Somebody types up a little one page, right?
Sends it across town to the state department. No
sirens, no cameras, no press conference, just a little memo.
Probably could have done it on a
yellow post-it note. And what did it ask for?
It asked for every passport application Ilhan Omar
has ever filed. Personal ones, official ones,
every supporting document, and anything that
identifies her parents. Now, I don't know about you,
but this is not a fishing trip. No, this is
somebody who already knows exactly where the fish live.
Now, let's be straight with you. Glenn Beck
got the text of the memo from a source inside the administration.
He says he has a photo of it.
He couldn't show it on air. So weigh it for yourself.
But here's the part that should
really kind of make you sit up.
That memo was dated eight months before anybody knocked on
her door. Eight months, guys.
So while she gave speeches, while she cast votes, smiled for the
cameras, the feds were not guessing.
They were building. So why does HSI want every passport
files she's ever touched.
The memo names Ilhan Omar as the subject of criminal and civil
investigations for two federal crimes.
Crime number one, making a false statement on a passport
application. Crime number two, falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen.
Not jaywalking, not an
overdue library book. These two go straight
to the heart of whether she actually belongs in this
country, never mind in Congress.
And so then, of course, the memo adds one more line, short and
quiet and devastating at the same time she may
be amenable to civil denaturalization fancy words
let me go ahead and translate them
into regular tuesday afternoon english because i don't know
what the hell it meant either the government wants
their citizenship back or more importantly
they want her citizenship back
and somewhere in washington a whole lot of people who spent years
calling this a conspiracy theory they just got
very very quiet now we have obtained the text of
a memo from uh homeland security investigations
to the State Department came from a source inside
the administration uh we got a photo i can't show you the photo uh
but we we are telling you what it
says how we got it and you can weigh it
for yourself it's dated February 9th of this year
eight months before anybody knocked on a door
so they've been working on this the you know the memo
asked the State Department for certified complete unredacted copies
of every passport application
that Ilhan Omar has ever filed um also personal uh
and official every supporting document every
letter anything that identifies her parents
and it says why she is named as the subject of criminal
and civil investigations for possible violations
of two federal laws making a false statement on
a passport application and falsely claiming U.S. citizenship
then one more line she also may be
amenable to civil denaturalization that's they're going
to try to take her citizenship away
now um there's a lot to this story uh her her father
was a career officer in the Somali armed
forces um and that's not what he said uh
so it looks like he came in under false pretenses as
well um and she signed her passport
and every day she puts a false birthday on that form that's a
crime um and there's new things that are coming out now
in one of her own books she says that
she was eight years old when uh the Somali uh revolution started
and that year she was that
that in that year if she was eight years old
which she said in the book that would have made her 19
years old when she came in so she has a she lied about
her passport according to that um also
there's more about her brother
and and everything else we're going to continue to watch this i'm not
sure that this is going to um get her kicked out i'm
not sure it's really hard to prove all of this
stuff but they look like they have the goods on her uh
also um her finances are under
investigation and her finances are crazy crazy she
was just on um i'm trying to find all of this
she was just on uh MS Now and she's doing an interview
and she's like you know we're
we're poor we're just barely you know making it wait wait wait what
so her husband had a winery
and also was an investor in some marijuana farm
and uh they apparently both went broke
and so now his partners were suing him for an awful lot of money
and he wasn't able to pay it
because he was broke and then suddenly this guy comes in from India
and writes him an 11 million
dollar check we don't know why why the check
was written for him etc etc but all of a sudden he
paid off and made those you know those lawsuits litigation go away
so there's something to be
asked about that um uh and the the people
who were paid off are like how did that work he was
claiming he had no money whatsoever how did he pay all of us off
so they're looking into her uh
finances as well as well because they
are really suspicious really suspicious um now she's saying
she has to move because now
and i i agree with her on this she's like now my my house has been
on tv my address is known everywhere you know how
am i going to keep my kids safe how am i going to
stay safe in Washington DC
and she is right about that um and you know what are you going to do
and she probably you know
also you know i don't feel like it's safe going back to my house blah
imagine how Melania felt got that one relative
who rolled her eyes every time this came out
don't argue. Just don't even raise your blood pressure.
Just go ahead and send them this video
and let the video do the talking.
In fact, let the memo do the talking. So go ahead and fast
forward to October, early Monday morning,
Washington, D.C. Agents from Homeland Security
Investigations, they roll up to Ilhan Omar's house,
windbreakers, cardboard boxes. The whole
street is peeking through the blinds in their bathrobes.
Out the door they go with their
passport, her phone, her computers, her notebooks,
and a federal judge signed off folks in Washington,
D.C. Not exactly a MAGA country, okay?
These judges, they don't hand out warrants on Congresswomen
like Halloween candy. Nobody can claim surprise either.
In fact, DHS Secretary Mark Wayne Mullin
and Border Czar Tom Homan had both confirmed
the investigation weeks earlier. Now, Mullin even
raised the old allegation that she married her brother,
which Ilhan Omar has always denied.
there are also reports of DNA and family subpoenas.
Now, Ilhan Omar's office calls
the whole thing baseless. Huh.
With a judge's signature on it, it's baseless. That's a bold
strategy if I do say so myself.
Okay, guys, so here's a question that's really driving everybody
up the wall. If she never really was a citizen to begin with,
why do they even need to denaturalize
her? Like, how do you take back something that she never had?
Now, picture this, guys. Somebody
gets into your house with a fake key.
They move in, they get mail, they put their name on the
mailbox for 20 years. Is it their house? Of course not.
But you still have to change the locks and
scrape their name off the mailbox officially.
That's denaturalization. Now, on paper, the
government treated her as a citizen,
so the paper has to be undone in court. Oh, and no, you can't
just snap their fingers and put her on a plane.
President Donald Trump can't do it with a Truth
social posts, a federal judge needs strong evidence first.
That's the civil track. Then,
of course, there's the criminal track,
the Department of Justice charging her for lying
on federal forms. Two tracks, same destination.
None of these are good. Now, we need to talk
about dad. Oh, we must talk about father.
Yes, Noor Omar Muhammad, Omar's late father,
the man whose paperwork the whole family's American story
is built on. And here's the
allegation, guys. He was a career officer in the Somali armed forces.
Now, let's be clear. This is
not like forgetting your middle initial.
A career military officer changes everything on a military
or immigration form, okay? Who are you?
Why are you coming? Whether you get in the door at all,
okay? So leaving off the fact that you're
a military officer changes everything on your
immigration form. While the president is calling for Omar's ouster,
Newsmax has confirmed the DOJ
is looking into Omar's family as part of the investigation.
That's right, and our chief Washington correspondent, James Rosen,
he has the scoop, which is what he usually has.
All right, James, what are you learning? Tell us all about it.
Katrina and Bill, good afternoon.
Senior U.S. officials have confirmed to Newsmax
that they have been investigating multiple statements made
by Ilhan Omar's father during his applications for citizenship here,
including whether he lied about his prior military service in Somalia.
The investigation into the Congresswoman's identity
and citizenship status has intensified in recent weeks,
with federal investigators telling Newsmax
the probe encompasses the father's declarations,
as well as questions surrounding the Congresswoman's true age
and the exact nature of her relationship with her brother.
Asked on MSNOW this week whether she had ever married her brother,
Omar replied, quote, not to my knowledge.
Federal officials tell Newsmax the search of the Congresswoman's
home here in Washington, D.C. earlier this month,
carried out by Homeland Security Investigations,
or ASI, originated out of HSI's Human Rights
Violators and War Crimes Unit.
Contacted this morning, the Homeland Security Department
referred us to DOJ.
Now, seen here with his daughter, Noor Omar Mohammed, had been a senior
officer in the Somali National Army,
a veteran of the country's war with neighboring Ethiopia
in the late 1970s. He came to the U.S. as a refugee in 1995,
listing himself as an educator,
and his daughter became a citizen in 2000
when Noor became a naturalized U.S. citizen.
At a rally in Sioux City, Iowa last night,
President Trump suggested that Omar's days
in Congress are numbered, citing the fact,
as disclosed in court filings by the administration
yesterday, as we just reported,
that Omar's real name is Ilhan Noor Saad Al-Elmi, with a surname
identical to her brothers. Now picture three dominoes.
Dad's entry story, his daughter's
citizenship, her seat in Congress.
If you tip the first one, you don't have to push the rest of them.
Gravity does the paperwork.
And remember guys, that HSI memo specifically asked for everything
identifying her parents. This is not a typo.
This is a flashlight. So here's where it gets really
fun. Because the next clue, it didn't come from a leaker or a spy.
It came from Ilhan Omar. She
wrote a book, her words, her own story, and in it,
she says she was eight years old when the
fighting in Somalia started.
Glenn Beck's team ran the numbers and says that that timeline
puts her at about 19 years old when she arrived in America.
Her defenders say that the math fits
her official birthday just fine.
So my question is, well, who's right? Well, it's funny you should
ask because her official birthday has already changed once.
I mean, picture a birthday cake
where the candles just keep on moving around,
getting icing everywhere. This is exactly why
the investigators want the original paperwork,
not the book, not Wikipedia, the forms. Because
every passport form that she signs repeats
her birth date under penalty of law. If it's wrong,
it isn't wrong once, it's wrong every single time.
Meet AJ Kern, a regular woman in Minnesota. She
ran against Omar once and lost.
And for years, she got called every name in the book. Crazy,
conspiracy theory, tinfoil hat lady.
So what was her big crazy idea? She read a birthday. That's
right, guys. She read a birthday.
Ilhan Omar's congressional page, her Wikipedia page, and her
Minnesota legislative page, they all listed the same date,
October 4th, 1981. Now, I'm going to
tell you why this matters, okay?
Ilhan Omar's story is that she became a citizen through her
father, but that only works if the child is still under 18 years old
when the parent becomes a
citizen. The family arrived March 8th, 1995.
Dad had to wait five years before he could even apply.
So that puts us at March 8th, 2000.
Born in October 1981, by March 2000, she's already 18
years old. She's too old. Door closed.
Turns out the crazy lady just knew how to use a calendar.
So A.J. Kern, she made a video about it.
And a couple of days later, Ilhan Omar's birth year
changed. Isn't that funny, right?
Isn't that a kinky dink? So Minnesota Legislative Library
updated her record from 1981 to 1982. Wow.
What luck. Most of us get one birthday. Ilhan Omar
got a software update. So then, of course, A.J. Kern hit a wall.
Refugee records are sealed by
privacy law. You can't pull
a living refugee's files without permission. But when Ilhan Omar's
father passed away back in 2020, A.J. Kern could request his records.
So she asked USCIS. It took
a year. The answer came in a letter dated June 20,
2023, which just so happens to be the World
Refugee Day. So AJ Kern figured God has a sense of humor.
I won't put anything past God. Now the
letter said no naturalization record
was found under any version of his name. Oh, and then she
asked DHS. So in September, 2023,
she got an official certificate saying no record exists
to federal agencies, nothing.
Please take us through what you found out when you looked at
all of this yourself. What did you do,
and what did you learn after Ilhan Omar's father passed
away? Well, I was writing a monthly column in the St. Cloud Times,
and part of my research
involved refugee resettlement.
And what I found is that it's fairly easy when a refugee comes
into the country, they're issued a social security number.
When they go to obtain a
driver's license, they register to vote.
And I think this is what Ilhan Omar did. She's never
had her citizenship verified,
not by the Minnesota Secretary of State or the FEC or Congress. And
she's always claimed that she obtained citizenship
when she was a 17-year-old minor, which means
she's claiming derivative citizenship.
She's claiming that when her father naturalized,
that she automatically obtained citizenship right
but it appears that neither of those two things
are true that that her father naturalized
um when he passed away in 2020 i requested his
naturalization records and i did receive a response
from the u.s citizenship and immigration services
that they did a thorough search of their records
and using all variations of her father's name
and he's not in the database.
Okay, let me stop you right there. And then I requested to DHS.
Okay, let me, I just want to jump in, AJ.
So based on what you just said,
DHS could not find naturalization records for her father.
She claimed she was naturalized in
2000 when she was 17. But if we can't find those records,
how do we confirm that she was naturalized?
And how do we confirm that he was naturalized?
Well, I have a certificate of non-existence
of record from the Department of Homeland Security.
I have both of those documents.
I've been very open about having them.
And I don't think that the government just, you know,
issues those without having done the thorough search.
And they are signed.
And given that he there's no naturalization records for him,
then it makes her whole issue of her age irrelevant.
it. Okay. Let me just ask you,
do you think there's a chance that this is all a lie and that
for the last 26 years, she's been lying about
who she is and her immigration status into this
country? Yes, I do. Okay. Because no one's checked it.
No one's checked it. And that's what this,
if there is an indictment, we assume
that's what they're looking at right now. The Washington Post
tried to exonerate her over the weekend.
They looked into all of this and here's a quote.
It could not be accurately, check that,
it could not accurately answer questions over Omar's age
because refugees frequently come from countries
with little or no birth records,
making it hard to determine with any certainty where they're from.
So they never addressed the statements from DHS
that they could not find her father's naturalization records.
Does that seem odd to you?
Very, very.
And I think there's two takeaways from here with this,
is that, one, you have to understand,
not just California, but Minnesota is registering
refugees to vote, and they're not necessarily citizens.
They didn't necessarily go through
that process. But also, it's the job of Congress
to ensure that all of their members are properly
seated. I have a document from January 2015.
It's qualifications of members of Congress.
And in this document, it lays out the qualifications and that it
is the job of Congress to ensure that their members meet all
of those qualifiers as far as their age and if they're citizens.
AJ, I just want to say we learned this weekend, too.
You knew this, but her name is actually Ermi.
It's not Omar. It's not Ilhan Omar. It's Ilhan Ermi.
and her brother's last name, Ahmed, his last name is Ahmed Ermi.
And if that's a coincidence,
this is the guy she allegedly reportedly married.
If that's a coincidence that their last name is
both Ermi, that's got to be the biggest coincidence I've ever seen
in political history. And there are
no coincidences. You ever try to get a passport,
birth certificate, photo, forms, fees, weeks and
weeks of waiting by the mailbox.
And of course, you're probably praying that the U.S. mail system
doesn't lose all your critical forms and documents that you mailed?
Exactly. Been there, done that
multiple times, even during the renewal.
And if you became a citizen later in life, you have to
prove how. Certificate numbers, paper trail, no shortcuts.
So if USCIS and DHS can't find a record,
who at the State Department stamped approved?
Oh, and it gets even worse. In 2020, Kern took this
to court. The judge said checking members isn't the court's job,
it's Congress's job. Oh, and
Congress? Apparently Congress never checked. Not once.
Which leaves one ugly question. If it slipped
past Congress, what's slipping past your city hall?
Okay guys, the big one. Why is she still
sitting in that chair? Reason number one,
an investigation is not a charge. As of this
recording, no public charges have been filed.
Reason number two, kicking out a member takes
two-thirds of the House. Now, you guys remember George Santos?
Gone. Expelled in December 2023
after an ethics committee report. Fake resume.
Campaign cash spent on Botox. Botox got a man
expelled. Two federal agencies saying no record.
Committee meeting pending. House Speaker Mike
Johnson's Republican majority owns this one too.
Oh, and by the way, she just voted. If she isn't
a citizen, what does that make each of her ballots?
I'm just asking, guys, asking for a
friend. So Ilhan Omar went on MSNBC
and said that her family is barely getting by on $174,000 a year
salary. What is your financial situation?
I mean, it's, you know, working class, I guess,
like paycheck to paycheck still.
You know, we've got four kids and, you know, we live, I think,
like a basic life i i have a toyota camry that's from 2016 it's my only
car um i rent my dc place
and my minneapolis place
and so i mean i don't know that that sounds like you know not majority
of Congress but there's some of us that are that don't come
from wealth and don't have wealth is
that a big divide in Congress it is yeah
because you have like the millionaires and and then you
have those of us you know
when we first went to Congress had to borrow money to find a place to sleep it's
expensive actually to live in two places yeah now somebody please start
a GoFundMe for Ilhan Omar
because she's she's barely getting
by she's barely scraping by living paycheck to paycheck
on 174,000 provided by this congressional salary
her husband Tim Mynett had a winery and a and a
stake in a marijuana farm both went bust
his partner sued him for a whole pile of money and
Then, reportedly a man from India writes him an $11 million check
and the lawsuits vanish.
Why? Nobody said. And a federal disclosure
with eye-popping numbers that later got revised as
an error. That's some error, guys.
Her finances are reportedly under review. Stay tuned.
Now, Ilhan Omar says that she might have to move.
Her address was on TV. Fair point,
guys. Nobody deserves threats. Period. I don't care who you are.
But where was that concern when ICE agents' families got doxxed?
Imagine how Melania Trump
felt. Here's the honest truth, guys.
Even Glenn Beck says that this could be hard to prove.
Now, if you're saying I'll believe it when I see handcuffs,
I hear you. I'm with you.
So watch for three things.
Charges from the DOJ, a denaturalization case in federal court,
and a vote in the House.
The midterms are just days away, guys. And the paper trail,
it's in federal hands now now this cleared things up even
a little bit for you send it to someone
who still thinks that this is just some internet noise
and leave a like on the way out i totally
appreciate it and it costs nothing
and it actually helps i'm gonna keep an eye on this one we'll see
you next time
