No cooling call, out of Freon, finding bubbling leak on true suction, above reversing valve.

It looks like we don't have a high pressure switch.
Do we have?
Low pressure switch is open.
So we may have
a loss of charge.
Sometimes I forget to show y'all what I'm doing.
I'm testing in between these two right here,
low pressure
control.
And I don't know if you can see that,
28 volts between those two terminals
on low pressure control means it's open.
So normally with probably
a total loss of charge,
I find that my leak is outside.
If it's just low, I would say the leak is inside.
But I'm going to look out here first.
I see a big old hole spot right there.
There's something on that reversing valve that has busted loose.
Okay, I'll put a little pressure on it.
I do not know where this thing is leaking, but it is pouring.
So there it goes.
Right where I thought it was.
The bubbles right
there, that's my leak.
I've had leaks there before.
well at least
we don't have
to replace the
reversing valve
coal was dirty
but it wasn't
so bad that i didn't think i could brush it
and get her going i tried to keep my price as
low as i could to get this woman some air it's
an older woman she had oxygen tanks in there
and um clearly a repair like this is a lot
of money for her so i just quoted her on brushing
a new pool, replacing the contactor, making a repair,
a liquid line dryer and pulling a vacuum
and it still turned out to be $800.
So whenever she gets the money ready,
go back over there and fix it up.
