No, I'll stay in the news van. to keep everything safe and locked up. It's Bobaween at a family-run haunted house in Chester County. So he's taking us on this live tour of this manor that's in Coatesville. Yeah, gang, good morning, everybody. When we were coming here, I thought I was going to go to some old-school farmhouse, but we're actually in somebody's house. Joe, good morning. How are you? Good morning. I'm good. Benzie, I'm doing it for five years. Yeah, five years now. We pulled into the cul-de-sac. We just came to the graveyard. We're now on the inside. This first thing, I guess, is right here. Try me. So you guys actually live here and turn this into a full-time Halloween house. Yeah, that's right. So the upstairs is just our normal house, and then in the basement, it gets quite dark. We have a full haunted attraction. Come on, Jared. We voted you to go first. Yeah, you go first. So tell me, how many nights a week do you do this? So we are open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We're not open on Halloween, but we have two days left where you can come see us. And we've got about 30 live actors ready for you. Yeah, you go first. This is Minerva. What's her name? We're going right in with my friends Yes, I have many friends that are anxiously awaiting to see you this morning Go ahead, enjoy your stay darlings, it may be your last This is the basement of your, of your home but we've turned it into a full like professional grade haunted attraction. Okay, so this is our hotel themed attraction. This is one of two that we offer here. Wow, yes so okay, so where are we going here honey, what's her name? Just wait for some direction. We're going up, we're going up, it's a tight space, hold on, oh no, something's going to pop out, oh boy, uh oh, we're going up, here we go, this is unbelievable, this is great, this is for the first time, we didn't have a chance to go through it before, I got a little brown spot in my underwear, oh my gosh, mom, I need to know that, but once we finish up, too many jelly donuts, we're going to keep on going, stay with us all morning long, it's Boboween, I want to know what's happening when they lay in the elevator. The Benzial Manor right here we just showed you the last hour, it's actually Joe's home, and they convert their home into the haunted house. So that's the manor. And then look out here. They built a whole big shed in the backyard the sanitarium. Yeah, so this is the Whispering Grass Sanitarium. Come on George George George you go first Still No, no traffic reporters were harmed in the filming of this segment maybe too soon to say I'm getting my eyes checked here part of a part of one of the many areas inside here now I'm going to get my teeth cleaned coming up next something like that well yeah they told me to sit in a chair this one's better than the chair that they had straps around getting my eyes checked here things have been a little a little blurry I think we'll have to carve them out what do you think a car Oh, well, yeah, I'll come back for that. So this is a walk-through attraction. We started inside your actual house. This is a barn that you built on your property. I just had my eyes checked. How about the dental office? Give that to me! So, let me... If you don't want to get crazy scary, you can put on a glow stick. That's correct. So, yeah, we appeal to people of all ages. We have the glow stick policy we do here. So, if you're a little bit... You get that glow stick on and you're good to go. Oh, what is going on here? The operating room. yeah so this is a good thing i am a little late oh you got to clean the sink up a little bit here why are you still awake so we have two days to enjoy the fun friday night they do are not going to be open on sat george right here oh busy friday night whatever happens yeah so friday we are open from 7 to 9 p.m and then we're the same hours on sunday night for our extreme blackout event Extreme blackout, so tell me about that. How does that work so that we're going to turn all the lights down and it's going to be a more intense Oh my God, this is our padded room. This is where the the craziest members of the asylum hang out Like the lunch room at Fox Come on here. This guy. What is this here? This looks like a failed experiment here at the asylum This is slink. What's his name? This is slink. Oh, hey slink. Yeah, you don't wanna you don't want to encounter slink All right, well, let's go around Slink. Let's pass him on the right or the left, whatever, all the way out. And there's the exit sign. How long does it normally take to walk through the event? So this is about a 5- to 10-minute walkthrough. It depends on how quickly you want to get out. We made it out! We made it out! So there's the home, Venziel Manor, right there. It's his private home right here that your mom and dad allowed you to kind of convert into this Venziel Manor. You built this shed on the back. This is fantastic. Now, what's the admission? And tell me about the good part about the admission. So you get a $12 admission. You get to go through the cemetery, the hotel, and the asylum. All in all, it's about a 20-minute experience. And then a lot of the proceeds from this event benefit the Spirit of Children, which works with Nemours Children's Hospital and their Child Life Program. So what we're doing here is not only bringing the spirit of Halloween to life, but it's also benefiting Nemours Children's Hospital and their Child Life Program.
