🔴 LIVE - Tuesday morning and we have Fish

Well, good morning. It's Tuesday and we have fish. Take a look right there. So we're going to get that open and see what we got. But I need to put my camera on a tripod so we can do this. I don't know if they're going to let me rotate. It wouldn't let me do it yesterday. I don't know why it can't rotate. Can't rotate. Strange. What is that button? I don't know what that is. All right anyway we need to get some lights on because the place is dark as a dungeon so let's plug in some lights here check the water levels look at the fish briefly Thereby appears to be alive nobody here yet moving right along we got the lights mostly on there's water in the tanks everybody looks let's see i'll tell you what i need to do is turn on the main lights betsy will be here in a little while so i'll be able to get the back door open i'm not full with that right now let's get the main lights on and then if i can figure out how to mount this phone or at least set it up so we can unpack these fish let's see how i'm going to do this probably ought to do it this way all right let's just do it like that unboxing here we got two of them turn off the uh radio two people are shining in can i tell who holly gibbs alexis aquatics and bill witt well good morning guys how are you we got a box of fish this morning we're gonna do a live unboxing the world is this looks dreadful goldfish and they do look horrible i think i better deal with them right away the neck the knife it's nasty i'm in a tank i'll see i don't have the lights on this thing yet but it probably doesn't matter goldfish right there split them up mostly okay i think i always get some free fish from this shipper and i noticed the invoice the free fish are the baddest so that's kind of exciting i didn't know they were in stock or i would have ordered them i didn't order them see there's something else we need to deal with immediately this is a bag of black worms i only ordered half a pound and they look mostly okay Let me go deal with this. I got to put them in a container. I do not have such a container here. Since we're doing this, let me turn it around. Oh dear. So my blood pressure this morning was 172 over 110 something or other. Not good. I don't have a knife here. Gotta go back and get my knife. I've got to get blood work done this morning, and then Friday I have a consultation with my doctor, my heart doctor. So that's my current stress, is my blood pressure. It's been really good for a long time, so I don't know why all of a sudden it's not. And that hole may not be big enough for me to get my finger in it, if I could even find it. I need three hands. A little bit of worm. We've got a cow. We've decided to do less. We're going to save a few bucks. What have I got in here? What are we doing? Let's feed some fish. A little bit of worm. It's left in the bag. Golden top minnow. How'd they get in there? Frank put them in there. Oh, now that's not a golden top. That's interesting. That's the nanosplendens running around with a golden top minnow. And there are a bunch of them. There should be like 10 of them in here, I only see the one apparently but then I haven't been seeing any, I think they're hiding also the screen is off, that ain't good and I need the ladder to get it on, all right the stool move the stool and I'm gonna put this on after the horse is probably out of the barn which means they probably saw him up in there, well no more will get up, let's see while we're over here, who who's with us, Bill we said hello to earlier, Michael Long Richter Belmont, I had this so hard to read, Robbie Richter, I need my lens Joan Hicker, are you taking what is this med for, high blood? Oh yeah, I'm on five different blood pressure medications hope they get back, yeah really I know thank you from Holly and Gene asking if I'm on meds, yes I'm on meds, I'm also on blood thinners so I think that protects me to some extent from having a stroke somebody just went in the shell, I don't know who, oh the catfish, well that's curious, the panda cats are in the shell. Also an algae eater Otocinclus is in the shell. Everybody but what I want There's a little guppy on the top. I don't see any other action in here. Another one of these fish got two. I have Lamprologes speciosus and Nanosplendens in here and I can't find any of them. One I saw. And it's been like that for days and they're not floating. So they're not dead. they're just in the shells i guess very shy fish anyway let's see what else is in the box this was working fairly well i guess wasn't it and i like my knife what is this oh yes we got i don't know how many eight i think little discus and that is a really good size it's like two and a half to three inches and they usually are really really nice so i'm excited about that we'll put them in the tank. I'll show them off a little later. This is Geophagus jirapari, a fish that for some reason is hard to come by. And we got some little ones, finally. So that'll be nice. I got a lot of people, a lot of people always looking for jirapari. Never seem to be able to get them. So we got a few of those. And this is embers. Bag full of embers. I think we'll go float them. This is Geophagus. Oh we do got some some unique geos this is called magasema a geomagasema so that's different i'm gonna set up a geotank this is scarlet badis there's a male there's a female so that's good there's six of them in here all good is ramen noodles ramen noodles i have another order coming in today that has some asian ramen noodles these are south american and this is oh crevins it's good need a crevin they're nice and big too look at that that's a good size they are ready to go and one more this is i don't know what this is this is the grommeca catoides these probably are not going to be real colorful but at least i've got some cockatoos now i think 10 of them or something so let's float them tank them all i'm not gonna do that this instant let me look at some messages first john hunker father fish my fish stopped eating this morning what happened to my fish, well Robocop, do a little water change and leave them alone you're probably over feeding them and they simply be stressed out from bad water quality do a little 10-15% water change and leave them alone if they go without food for a week then you can feed them but don't don't worry about your fish not eating fish if they're healthy they're gonna eat a hungry fish is a healthy fish blue water in that bag of fish i don't think so i didn't see any blue water may have simply reflected badly i don't know and gene's gonna come in to get some rum you know uh i was you were here last week gene says and i was not well i've been running around getting all these physical tests and stuff michael take care have a great day oh kind of laying around in bags um i gotta float them all i'm not gonna do that this instant we'll get off the phone first just come around and look at some stuff my water level is down in this system so i need to add water to it it's not dangerously low just kind of halfway and i got some i finally got these sagittarius in yesterday you want to see a gorgeous plant i've got to plant them look at that these are like three to four foot long and they they will get six foot or more they're wonderful i've got about i don't know maybe 40 or so so they're gonna all get planted today uh guppies guppies guppies are such a pain just pull one dead one out they look more or less okay i've been spreading out the guppies trying to get i guess uh one of my customers brought guppies in over the weekend and they're really very nice so i've been spreading them out in some of these little 10 gallon tanks to try to get something going that tank does not look good at all i don't know what the problem is these look fine look at that pretty fish here's a a better with a female and it looks like he's got her two females i think he's got eggs in there he should we'll see he's chasing her by the way i need to get the girls out they're uh under pressure maybe come out of there oh i just saw darting around this is where the uh alligator the gar and the half beaks were put in this little dude the ones that frank has been catching and they're in the back and they're they're hiding they really don't want to be seen there's one there's a half beak i don't know if you saw him get some of this algae off the gear we can see some the duckweed blocking the light which the fish love because they'd rather be in the dark there's one that's a half beak up there we caught these um uh up around some fish farms so they're they're fish that have escaped into the wild and have established a breeding population haven't run across any big ones yet but we got a bunch of babies he got about a dozen so we're going to go back and try to get some more maybe this week we'll see how that goes bed of tanks need to be cleaned the scarlet baddies are going to come over here we need to bring them over and float them here's some more of the guppies the nicest ones let me i meant to do that yesterday let me go over and show you some of these guppies we got in over the weekend they're some of the nicest that we've ever had that is a female no that's a male sorry but i've got females with fins like that big fins we got chopped up i think there's some rams a pair of rams down there facing off with each other so they're getting ready to of the breed more of the guppies in with a barb that needs to come out of there i think that's i just noticed a guppy had a nick out of his fin see i had a net here it is see if we can get this barb out of here i think it's causing grief with the guppies or is it whatever it is clearly doesn't want to be caught well because that's why it's in here where is it that's kind of the problem with certain fish troublemaker fish they they uh they get established in a tank to such an extent that they become very net wise so when the net comes near they they know to hide and this guy i mean i've got the tank pulled apart and i can't find them normally i could feel them in the corner but i'm not even feeling it well he's something else hanging at the top i guess gee whiz i need to kick kick the water on here and get it cleared up to come back to this Yeah, cockatoos I don't see any color at all, just regular old cockatoos we now at least I got some and these are the embers, baby embers, and that's a little Pasca rainbow in there, pea poppers, a bunch of pea poppers, what else I've got some double red cockatoos in here, there's ten of them and they are hiding, I've seen two right now I'm seeing none this is a black water tank see who else got something to say here Iliana beautiful tank, thank you sent me the Sagittarius, oh Holly, yes, great Betsy of the, I can't tell Betsy's story. I wish I could. It's such a delight. She is a love and just probably one of the most knowledgeable patriots who I've ever known. The remarkable woman. All right, we're going to wind down here. Everything looks pretty good. I'm going to float the fish, thank uh Mary Page that was a delight, Mary Page called me last night, we had such a nice conversation, that was fun, here's a golden top minnow in here, I'm sweating like a dog here what is this? Oh, Shelly's sunspot, Shelly's having a spot of real gray, okay, Rose says yeah I've got little bit of coffee in the other room, need to get to it and I've got to go get blood taken this morning but I want to get these fish put away first and then do that, try to get back here before Betsy leaves right, well thank you guys for plugging in this morning, watching my little unboxing I'm gonna do another one a little later and I might do it the same way, this is kind of fun doing it live and kind of chatting along the way video quality wise, there's no difference at all because I don't do video quality, I just do video, here's some redhead tapahose, I might put how many are there, three six seven plus some bumblebees, I might put those new geos in there or in here or in here that's what I can do, I'll spread them out along these three tanks, that'll work just fine since I've got two species and about four of each, I think there's a pretty discus little pigeon blood kind of pale, don't know why but we're gonna get some others in here today and maybe it'll perk her up, all right, so thank you so much, good to see you guys uh this morning ritual i think is gonna be fun it'll be different each day occasionally we run into stuff that needs fixing or taking care of so we'll be doing that as well I'm gonna go put all these fish to bed and then go get some blood drawn and then come back and by then there should be another box of fish here so I'll see you all a little later on bye for now then figure out how to turn this off there you want to stop streaming
