We're here at Father Fish. What's going on here?
I did rotate.
He doesn't want us to rotate. Am I live?
I'm live. We're here at Father Fish.
Just walking in the door. This is a Monday morning video.
And I'm going to turn the camera
around and figure it out.
Right there. Coming in the back door.
This is the back of Father Fish.
we try to keep it orderly
but rarely succeed I see them low on sand need to
call an order of sand
in that'll get here tomorrow they're probably closed
today let's see if we can get rotate the vise
that's saying rotate and I'm rotating on the wrong way
what it's doing is it working I don't know why it says rotate
All right, the whole idea here is to show some morning activity
that'll be available as a video throughout the day.
And a few people have popped in.
You can read them.
Mustang.
Good morning.
Mary-Faith Flynn.
Hi there.
And Betsy just got here.
Okay.
Hi, Betsy.
Hi.
I won't show you.
I won't do it live stream.
Okay.
Okay.
What's going on?
I have a man interested in wondering how much the lovebirds are.
Uh, 40.
Okay.
I'll send him a text.
What is that pot?
Must be Frank's.
Must be.
I never saw people talking about a pot.
I can't show pretty Betsy.
I'm in the witness protection program.
Really?
Well, she probably actually is.
Probably.
Yeah, here's the guy right here.
Kevin Rodriguez.
This is what I posted.
He said.
Oh, so he came in.
How much for the lovebird?
Oh, like this. How are we doing this? Okay.
Yeah.
Oh, great. All right.
Yeah, $40.
Okay. Super.
Yeah.
Yeah, I've had a couple of people ask about them, but nobody...
Nobody.
Nobody's come over to get them.
We've got three, is that right?
I have three at home that I should have brought today, and I didn't.
Lovebirds?
No, parakeets.
Parakeets, right.
Yeah.
But he was asking about lovebirds.
But a lovebird, that's the first inquiry I had on a lovebird.
And we have three of them?
Four.
We have four?
All the same, green.
Yeah, they were out in front of one of the parakeet boxes.
Yes, they tend to want to...
But they're not doing anything.
I think they're all, like you said, they're all females.
Probably, yeah.
I know.
Yeah, that would make sense.
Yeah.
Because they're nice. They're not nasty.
No, they're not.
Alright, you done?
Yeah, I'm all done. Yeah.
Okay, I'm going to get seen this afternoon.
Okay.
So I'll have it here in the morning.
You don't have any frozen mice yet, do you?
No, I'm gonna pick them up this morning. Okay, I'll bring them back.
All right. I need to get that animal out of here
Well, at least stop doing this all over. Well, let's get started. Yeah
Thank you Betsy, there's the back of that seat
See ya, Betsy's a sweetheart, she
is a love, she comes in and volunteers
Seven days a week for about an hour in the morning
morning taking care of all of the animals, she doesn't feed
the fish, well she does some, I've seen
her have to do a little of that, but she uh does everything else
and just keeps them all healthy
keeps eyes on them routinely
and she just uh she's a deer, let's see who else is here
here we go, this is so tiny a surgery, I need to put
my, I need to put my glasses on, all right I'm
just looking around
so far everything looks pretty good, the water level on these tanks is
something I'm always dealing with because it's always
a little low or overflowing, right now it's
a little low and it's just not coming out quite
good enough, well that's all right, got some new
rainbows and rios, I think they are a bunch
of rios, new rainbows, I need to get a lot more rainbows
low low on rainbows, oh
these are the shellies, look at that, look
at that, dart right in there
we've got shellies everywhere here, I think there's some
in here, yeah there are, right there in front
oh there she went, there's another one
dart, dart, another one back there
is there all kinds of
but mostly there's some more shell dwellers
I've got four species of shell dwellers
These are sunspot shells
Still young, they're not showing their spot yet
And then there's a calvus or two in here
along with a bunch of other stuff.
those are redhead tapajos
There's an ostrich, some rhino ancestors.
I like that they are African
These are, these are all golden top minnows
They're a little native fish
Pretty, but it's hungry
There's a cassette hook there
that holds little people
It's so hard to get that, to get any size on them
I've had these for at least a month now
Look, these are gross
These guys are just so shy.
There are Lamprologus speciosus
in here, and Nanostoma prevens
Nanosplendens, I'm not seeing
any of them,
just a very shy fish
Beautiful, super pretty little thing
What else is going on here?
This is, we got the big fan on today,
so I should shut that off for the benefit of the
his string
and we go back here oh see finally
sold all the turtles i don't have any
any big turtles left this is turtle tank
and it's devoid of well it took a while
had to go back and start over again weird all right
this eventually just came by and dropped
off a couple of fuzzy mice
or uh they're ball python i mean yeah ball python up front so we'll
pick these up where i left off
and i think what we already have
is history i think i lost everybody
well that figures i'm looking in here to see
if we have any of the um Epistogramma showing
themselves and there are 10 of them in here
and i can't find it i've seen two they're hiding really
well this of course
is their black water tank it's
a 200 gallon black water row is here hi row
i got back on it it dropped off i had to go back in and set it up again
so anyway i wanted to show
you i've got a a genuine monster oh there he
is look at that is that a beast or what that's about
an almost two foot bichir uh del easy no it's
not del easy uh what is it called i don't remember
this tank is so dirty it's got algae all over
the glass anyhow i'm trying to sell him but i want to
sell him to somebody
who's gonna it's a female somebody's gonna see if they can't breed it
got one nice discus here more coming we've got
a whole bunch of discus on order there it is
hiding somewhere well here it
is right there little pigeon
blood sign here angels this is
kind of oddballs right now nothing especially
interesting here's some hoplose we thought
bunches of hopluses and then I've got
dragons, there's a siren back
there probably can't see him very well and an African
lungfish right there. Oh, I want you to look at these puppies
I've got more on the other side one
of my customers throughout the years and
prettier ones on the other side. I took a lot of them out move them
so it wouldn't have them all in one place
but it's really a nice selection of some pretty fancy
guppies and
lots of bettas
so albert
de boer hi hat
trick okay we
we got back i'm
back right and
here are we caught some halfbeaks you're probably
not gonna be able to see them and there also are
some of those baby gar that we caught a couple
of weeks ago up at the Peace River but they're really
not there they they hide they're hard
to see i don't have much light on there this kind of makes
it tricky all the way around let's double check
this stuff these are um natives mostly flagfish
and topminnows you saw the topminnows earlier there's more
of them and more flags i don't see
a lot of Formosa. We're going to have to stock up on Formosa.
There's two mollies down here.
There's a darter. There could be a bunch
of darter in there, but we're not seeing them
here. Not much of you guppies.
I have some baby chilies in here.
I've seen one. They're real tiny
and we're not going to be seeing them
for a long time until we get a little size on them.
we have betta nest and there should be eggs
in there everything actually looks fairly together
this morning
that is that is that is birds here's um our mixed
cichlid tank somebody brought in the
gorgeous tinfoil barbs albino i think they're wonderful
and we've got a couple of a couple
of red parrots back there hiding and everybody
else looking for food, got a 10 inch pike in
here that we just sold, well let's see as we'll go
in the back and look see what it's doing back here
these buffalo heads i really need to move them
and get them set up they were born here last year
and i want to get them they were born down here sold the colony
when the babies showed up so i'm
going to put them back down in here
but i i want to get these salvinia out first i want to try to
get to that today i don't know what's in here the
frontos some cats plecos a couple of pikes
more plecos that's about it that's
a denisonii and some oddball cichlids
a big denisonii here i don't know what's
in there maybe nothing looks kind of ratty uh
these are all my natives a few fish in there
And these are cichlids that were growing here, severums of them.
It's probably a gulf somewhere.
These are Africans,
Malawis.
This is the 55 that's suffering neglect.
I've been pulling plants out and selling them,
so it needs to be replanted.
I've got an order in this week
with Dustin for some new plants.
This is feeders, peacock bass,
way back there, oh there's
a little clown knife, here he goes.
There's a red-tailed cat hiding back there in the corner.
Feeders, a bunch
of clown knives
in here somewhere.
Well there's one right kind
of in front under that log.
kogeckos four of these and they've
been spawning they've been breeding rather
we've got um i've had eggs let's
see looking at who's here oh
nobody came back that's sad
all right marijuana uh i
penguin shark two arowanas
in here there's one seem
to be doing all right
see the other one
one up low you see
a dead one with
a lolly up there
oh right there
okay i guess unless that's
the same one i think it's the same one there it is
okay one two there they
are and uh reef tank i found a
zoanthid yesterday that i'm just
kind of excited about
I bought some mixed
import zoanthids
um these have popped up
they are pastel blue they cut
the light clear enough to see
them look at that color i never
saw a color like that very
pale pastel blue pretty
nice these are leathers
and lots of clownfish
these tanks have a lot of algae in them
and i kind of do that deliberately because
it seems to provide some nutrients for the fish i think they pick at it
also provides a medium for
copepods so it's while it's unsightly the fish
are extremely healthy in here and i'm able to
keep them long term with without any problems all
right i think we're let's go up front see what's
up front here's the main boa i'll
give him his lights in a bit
this if i can do it there are
frogs in here see there's well come
on flip there's one up there
there's about a dozen frogs
in here let me get
this thing cooking i've got a fogger
on here there it goes we are fogging
a few little turtles not what you see i want
to see the one frog up top but they're more in here
tell you what
if i can figure out
a way to set this
camera let's see beat
this guy i don't have
anything to set
this camera on.
What I can do is
cut these open.
Get my scissors
I guess. I need
some kind of a something to hold this camera so I can do this.
It's hard to work one-handed and
kind of working one-handed anyway.
Scissors of course you're
not cutting like that doing nothing.
Bited it! There little frozen mouse. I hope he's frozen.
All right let's see you're gonna get it
thought out wouldn't it think I'm
gonna put this on a pair of tweezers
because I
don't want to smack in my hand
and it's really cold I really need to get it
thought out or put it in there for this
let's see what else is here this is a
tank of Elasmobranch that's been kind
of ignored we put a bunch of litter in here
kind of lake litter and all to try
to get some some little microscopic life
going to feed them and maybe it's working I don't know you've seen the
stats no this is the back end
of the the whatever it's called the log in the
water display you don't see any more
frogs they're green tree frogs in here
there's some barking frogs remember what else
and they're all hiding Betsy fed
them some oh there's a green tree you know
that's a piece of leaf and I thought
And this beauty is for sale, and you've seen
this a hundred times, great thing, great,
great thing.
And they're getting thought out, I think,
so I'm not telling you what it's called.
These are Silver Stats,
a couple of Silver Stats that are a real nice size.
All right, let's see this guy,
got my tweezers,
I don't know if I'm going to be able to do
this.
He's been snapping at people,
and now he's ignoring a mouse, so that's not nice, I don't
this problem ends here. It is.
I guess I'm just going to drop it in there. All right, we're done.
Get the lid back on.
Breaking it,
which I can't do.
Stuff
is for the birds.
A couple more tanks
for sale. Nice stands too. That's a 60 and that's a 55.
A chiller, big chiller. Big 1200 chiller.
All right,
let's see if we can get the chat up here
and I'll read it and then we'll sign out.
oh i have
my glasses here
that would be helpful
but i don't think i do
yes i do good all right
