The influencer, known as Clever Claire, whose real name is Brayden Peters, filmed himself and his crew unloading multiple handgun rounds onto an alligator during a live-streamed airboat trip. No permit, no respect for the rules, just reckless stunts for clicks and views. Florida's wildlife laws are no joke. Killing or even harassing alligators without proper permits can trigger third-degree felony charges under state statutes. Carrying five years in prison, probation, and or hefty fines. Even discharging a firearm in the area adds more potential counts to this. Utmeyer, the Attorney General, made it plain. No special treatment for this social media star. Quote, we have law and order. Peters was already arrested on a separate misdemeanor battery charge from a different incident involving a fight he allegedly stirred up between his would-be girlfriend and another girl he was seeing, and of course he posted it online for clicks as well.
